The Purpose of Volunteering | 99+1

Israel Aleman, a Cell Biology student, volunteers at the Hope Clinic in Midvale, UT. Originally meant to check a box on his medical school applications, he learns that volunteering can and should be so much more than that. After repeatedly seeing patients with H Pylori infections, he took his question to the Gonda Lab in an effort to help the underserved one at a time in an incredibly important way.
