definitely with a screen. Your phone is always tethered to the car by bluetooth or carplay for calls and texts. it will work OK without tethering but none of the smart features would work.
@@gaycarboys it happened while it was on in the car, 35 degree day, I will never understand why on earth they would use Lithium Batteries in Dash Cameras that get incredibly hot. Made a pop noise, took it apart and the lithium had exploded. It’s happened to a few others as well.

Had a NextBase 622gw and the Lithium battery exploded in the car..absolute junk!
