      I’ve always used twist grips for my ebikes, still thinking I’d rather them on my Escooters too 🤷🏻‍♂️
      That being said, I haven’t found thumb throttles to be all that bad either, I can use the side of my thumb while fully gripping the handlebars to actuate it ✌🏻

    Trigger throttle allows a safer secure more controlled ride with handling n maneuvering especially on powerful scooters n or when on bumps surfaces. Wrapping ur thumb around bar n keeping it there for gripping feels more natural to better keep control of ur steering

    I got the Vsett 10+ last week and did purchase this exact thumb throttle weeks before the Vsett arrived .Though it comes without lcd screen ,it should be possible to get it wired correctly to the original mounted Lcd control panel and then simply remove the index finger throttle .I do like the thumb throttle on my other scooter , Ninebot Max G30 ,but this i think might be a better thumb throttle :-) .Thank you so much for this review/test .

      the ghost is the only of my 4 without a thumb throttle, I planned on swapping for a thumb right away but surprisingly liked the trigger...cracked the screen so now trying to decide between a vsett trigger; just a qs-s4 with a black case to look like an ey3, or the thumb throttle....the ey3 copycat requires an nfc card to power up....so would have the key on the voltmeter, and then another volt meter with nfc card on throttle...would only mean an extra 2 seconds to power up..... but I've never used a thumb throttle that presses in instead of up and down so would love to give the qs-s3 thumb throttle a try....decisions decisions lol

    Ginger On Wheels...I just ordered my son a Cruiser w/Thumb Throttle (I'll install). It was quite an ordeal trying to get an answer from Voro about the length of the cable that goes from the Thumb Throttle to the LCD, watching your video I noticed that your Thumb Throttle had plenty of cable length. The install video on Voro's site you could see the TOO SHORT cable, so short that cable was pulled tight and exposed the wires. AJ even mentioned it being short. I wasn't going to purchase this throttle because of that issue. Hopefully, the cable will be like yours and have enough slack to be able to make adjustments. Not having ever owned a e-scooter I had a lot to learn and researched a ton. I narrowed it down to the Cruiser and Inokim OX...I choose the Cruiser due to the IPX6 rating mainly it was a tough choice. Anyway, did you have enough length in that cable, I'm curious to know. I wasn't really satisfied with their reply regarding the cable length.

    • @GingerOnWheels

    Haven’t tried a trigger throttle and don’t want to, can’t imagine my etwow with a trigger throttle, Voro should offer either as an option in the price, not charge $100 for it. Think they and their distributors check each scooter before shipping so if they manufacture without either and stock the different throttles then customers can choose which one they want and they can fit it during their pre-checks or even just have it in the box for the customer to fit as it’s not too complex 🤷‍♂️

    • @VoroMotors
      @VoroMotors 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Thank you for the feedback. The preinstall option is close to $100, but the throttle itself is only $59/$69 depending on which throttle you purchase. It is not that simple as tossing in the throttle inside the box, they still have to be wrapped carefully since it is fragile. In regards to the $100 option, the scooters come with a default trigger throttle - Unboxing each Cruiser and manually check the unit takes about 30 mins per quality inspector.
      Setting up the scooters, uninstalling the throttle and reinstalling the throttle before changing the P settings adds another 30 mins per unit. It is easy to do for 1-2 customers, imagine having to meet a shipping target of 70 to 80 units per day just for preinstalls alone and we have to make sure every unit is done correctly to prevent complaints such as stripped screw, broken LCD during transit, incorrect P settings.

      @@VoroMotors thanks for the insight on pre checks voro. Almost every person reviewing scooters seems to prefer thumb throttle, is it not time the thumb throttle came standard then and not the trigger maybe? • @e-scooterguy
      @e-scooterguy 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@VoroMotors that’s good news. I also think decent indicators on the back and front need to become standard features aswell. back of deck is fine like the cruiser but need to be much clearer and there needs to be front ones on the handlebars like some rental scooters have as this would make them safer and be perceived as safer. Add that to the cruiser and touring, thumb throttle, and improve water resistance on the touring to match cruiser and your on to a winner. So far the vsett line edges it on indicators with the buttons to indicate built into the hand grips. I only mention the touring as I fear a 500 watt limit could be implemented in the Uk meaning the touring would be the only option out of your line up. We get lots of rain and have thin roads compared to the US!

    thumb thrrotle is on shared scooters in my city. When I wasnt pushing it, just holding and I hit the bump I almost lost control and fell because handlebar shaked and since my right hand didnt have thumb placed underneath grip it slipped from my hand. fortunately I managed to steer with just left hand for a second or two. Thumb thrrotle has advantages but this safety disadvantage too.

    Do you know how to change a trigger throttle to a thumb throttle that does not have that easy " plug and play" circular plug? My Display that looks identical, just has a 6 pin plugged directly into the board on the back. If you have ever done this do I have to do the whole solder ting after clipping off the hall sensor inside the trigger? I would like to just buy one like you did and wire that in, but again mine does not have a circular plug, it looks as though the wires plug in inside the deck and they are "lined up" and not in a circle. Hope that makes sense! Thanks ahead of time!

Someone let me ride their yesterday, (2020 model) and has done some changes: better handlebar, thumb throttle etc. But what is throwing me off is the stem wobel when coming to a stop. We went through every bolt and ensured things were tight. Im not a hard rider, just doing this for the pure enjoyment of scooting, but Im also in my mid 40's and dont heal as fast anymore. Thoughts on over all build quality? (I also have a ninbot max)

      I just bought the cruiser it to replace my ninebot max .. yes the stem has a small wobble but that has do to the suspension which is much better . However, I wish the stem could stand as as tall as the ninebot. Overall it’s a beast compared to the ninebot and the distance is much better but I wish it came with the thumb throttle since it’s better to control the right brake when using that type of throttle.
