    i'm so sorry but this video is just HILARIOUS to me. How long will the EMove Cruiser's battery last? LONG ENOUGH TO BREAK YOUR BODY, MIND, AND SOUL, THAT'S HOW LONG. Your feeble human constitution will fade and die long before this scooter so much as slows down. Civilizations will rise and crumble, and the EMove Cruiser shall persist through it all, traveling at a consistent pace and treating you to a comfortable ride. You think your meek mortal frame can run out the EMove Cruiser's battery??? You fool! You RUBE! You will be reduced to an aching, shivering PUDDLE before that happens! You could keep riding this scooter long after you have starved to death! Your decomposing remains could glide along the bike paths of your city ad infinitum! Your picked-clean skeleton shall ride into battle in the Skeleton War not on some lame ghostly skeleton horse, no no no! It shall arrive on a far nobler steed! The EMove Cruiser, the ONLY SCOOTER YOU WILL EVER NEED!!!

    I feel kinda bad that your suffering was so entertaining to me. But I've been waiting for a good, thorough range test of the cruiser and now I finally have one. I think this was the last piece of the puzzle I needed to make my final decision on which scooter to buy next. I was considering buying something bigger (I really liked the look and the specs of the SLJ S8) with my rational being that I'd be buying two upgrades in one, I could get the speed and range I was hoping for by setting it in mode one or two, and at the same time, if I ever felt the need for a little more I could just engage all the high settings and it would basically be like riding a new scooter. But I think I'm sold on the Emove Cruiser now. Thanks again for all your content and information, it really is the most useful tool to people like me who are looking to upgrade but can't decide on what with there being so much choice and so many variables to consider. I always thought the climate in Seattle looks very similar to what we have here in Scotland so thank you for braving the elements for us.

      I got 7% from scooter reviews. I wasn't thinking about the ramp to the train station. Going South through the UW campus would be red Square, stairs fountain and then the field. The Burke Gillman trail is there as well as the light rail station. I was laughing to my self thinking of the scooter winding its through campus . I would have taken the Roosevelt Ave bike line to the Burke Gilman and then maybe gone to Tacoma before I the juice runs out. I'm gonna take mine through the downtown and bomb around the deserted stadium djstrict.

    Hey Gow, I spur of the moment went to Voro today and picked up this scooter. Got it in the Blue. They Didn’t have the purple out so couldn’t see how it looked. It’s all good. It’s really about the performance, longevity range for sure. Thankful for the LG Battery. No more range anxiety. After test riding it, I knew it’s totally more scooter than I need. It hauls…it def. needs respect. But where I live I want to commute to work a mile and a half away. Also the wind blows terrible daily and I needed a scooter to cut through the wind! This baby can do it. Thanks for all your vids and suffering.

    • @nastythomashobbs
      @nastythomashobbs 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The range seems insane on Scooters because after about 5 miles of continues riding they become boring.. On an EUC after a 50 mile ride..it is like...what only 50 miles. Man I need more range.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It's true, electric unicycles take much less mental effort at lower or medium speeds. Still, it was a pleasant ride on the emu Cruiser up until about the 30 mile mark . at that point I just needed some food and a long rest. If I had spent an entire day out on the cruiser it probably would have been a lot more fun.

  • @ucheucheuche
    @ucheucheuche 4 ปีที่แล้ว +5

    Thanks for editing and showing this! Very valuable.
    Seeing you suffer, as hilarious as it was, actually sold me more on getting this scooter for commuting. I could probably get away with charging once a week, which is fantastic for battery life and range longevity. My eye is on the 🍊 orange version 😋, garish and glorious.
    There's a dedicated cycle/walk path that cuts through London (UK) called The Greenway. I think the eMove Cruiser is the one for the job to help me record it all.
    I think your video will become very popular. Appreciates 💥🎆👍

    We do need a 62 mile range scooter even if you don’t intend to travel that far, you have to consider that some places have a lot of hills and that’s a battery drainer, even if I only used it for 15miles a day I would have peace of mind that I still have power reserves and I wouldn’t want to overtax the cells they tend to diminish the charging cycles. Great video, very informative 👍🏾

    Came to this vid because im just tired of range anxiety - in Detroit everything is really spread out theres alot of wind resistance too = so the extra juice is needed to maintain power through 30 miles ( which i think is the comfortable long range mission - that's still enjoyable- nice work bruda

      I own both. The front end of the Emove has problems, wheel is off-set to one side to compensate for the disc brake assembly, front tire wears unevenly. My front disc started rubbing strangely like it got knocked out of whack but it never took a hit. I like the scooter but like I said the front end is utter shit. I can get a 29 MPH top speed out of it, but I live in Florida, so its flat. My scooter sits on my patio, no real rain on it and the hardware is showing signs of finish degradation. Personal, opinion all of these scooters especially higher end should have stainless and/or good quality chrome, bolt plating and they don't.

    And for me, there's no such thing as too much range... I dream one day we will be able to use electric scooters for commuting across the country. One day they'll replace motorcycles.

    Hiiii, first of all great content and honest stuff, not like some others I saw that just make review for money 😂😂 said that, I hope you can answer some question I have since you are the perfect fit for answering, having tried both scooters..
    I have a Max G30 that I use every single day to go back and forth from work doing 40km total (3000km arleady made), in whatever wheatear condition it is (yes even super heavy rain (that I honestly love hahah) and the Max NEVER failed to amaze me how sturdy and amazing it is.. BUT, the laking in suspension and a bit of speed (not super because well law here) is something that made me think, is the EMove cruiser a good thing to buy for daily use in whatever weather condition and season?
    What's the main difference between the 2 and what's good or bad between the 2? I am really struggling to answer myself because I see a lot of mixed review on the emove cruiser, since I had 0 problem with the max I don't know what should I expect from the cruiser hahaah
    Sorry for the bad English.. Its my 3 language.. So I still miss some stuff :/
    Ps: before the max I had the xiaomi m365, got the max for the huge range and secondary for the better speed.

    • @GingerOnWheels
      @GingerOnWheels  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The handlebar area and stem + suspension components seem like they would need pretty regular maintaince on the eMove if you rode it in the rain a lot. I'm not even sure the throttle display is waterproof. Better bet for riding in hardcore rain would be the g30. But the Emove will do fine in most weather, probably just not downpour type rain. It does have a water resistant rating , after all.

    • @kidpaddle1994
      @kidpaddle1994 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I did some bearings change on the max because after 2500km in different wheatear the front wheel bear rings started doing a grinding noise so, that's that, but other than that, nothing much more, I probably should make a full checkup on it, since I reached 3k km.. But I think it's normal if used in different wheatear to need a little maintenance on those component like bicicle do too i guess.. 🤔 The throttle is one of those thing that is making me rethink about getting it or not and if there are some silicone spray to use on it to make it more water-resistant 🤔🤔 i never had those tipe of throttle sistem and screen, so I have no idea how they behave in rain..
      For info, in live in Swizerland so wheatear is not so bad as other country like Belgium or England.. But still, some times I have some heavy rain.

When you're trying to go uphill or pass some cars, having that extra speed capability is good. I don't always ride above 25 mph, but I DEFINITELY wanted a scooter that could get into the 30's.
