    I'm also a DJI avata user with goggles integra + motion controller 2. May I ask? I saw your video that flying indoors seemed easy and smooth without problems, but why am I always very difficult to control indoors and the drone moves by itself and the drone falls several times. Are you in the settings to choose rth or hoover in the indoor? Do you use ce or fcc for transmission? Any tips and tricks for indoor flying dji avata? Thanks friend 🙏

      Hey there, thanks. I made another video about that (« can you make money with the DJI Avata? ») you can check on the channel.
      I also have a hard time sometimes and that’s because of the metal beams in the building that cut the signal in some buildings unfortunately. You could swap to FCC but not legal here in Europe 🤷🏻🤦🏻 that didn’t help (I tried) though. The only solution is manual flying but… lots of drilling and practice 😉 take care

    Question. I have the avata and Motion control 2, upon take off, it drifts side ways uncontrollably. And sometime when it is stable and I fly it around the house, it sometimes drift when flying, leading to crashing/hitting stuff in the house. How can I resolve this issue?

    • @cris_photography
      @cris_photography  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The greatest issue I found is the fact that you’re using it into « GPS » mode when using the motion controller. That means you need a connexion and signal and basically when there are heavy beams of metal or anything that cuts the signal the drone will do that drift and crash (I make another video where I talk about that - check « can you make money with the Avata » video). The only way to fix that is to start flying in manual mode with the regular remote and while it’s easier said than done - i realise that - it’s the only way I found. Take care

    • @cris_photography
      @cris_photography  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello Eric, you can record on the goggles and the drone on 2 separate SD cards. So the recording in the goggles has all the info for that flight while the video on the drone has no writings on it.

    If i hover at 1ft or lower the Avata takes on a life of its own and starts darting forward / backwards, sideways and I can’t control it and it crashes into a wall. Not sure if it’s the glossy concrete floors or what.

    Is video quality (after editing) any different between original FPV and the Avata? What are your settings when you fly indoors?

    • @cris_photography
      @cris_photography  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello there, thanks. I never flew Indoor with the original FPV so I couldn’t tell you. However I find the over quality of the Avata better than the FPV. When flying indoor I keep it on auto settings especially when I fly out of windows, under trees, etc. For light changes purposes (it adapts very quickly). Cheers

    • @cjstudios5170
      @cjstudios5170 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@cris_photography Those settings are what I use for the original FPV. It makes it dummy proof or kinda' like the K.I.S.S. method (Keep It Simple Stupid).
      BTW, I just ordered the Avata five minutes ago from a local big box retailer. Looks like I will be doing some testing today and tomorrow for two interior video shoots I have this coming week. I do need to "tighten" my indoor flying - making sure that I am at or just above countertop height.

    Not to be a stickler, but the kind of footage you took, you could have gotten with a phone gimbal. Maybe with better results. You need faster movement, and you need to be a little higher up (because it looks like from the vantage point of a child or pet). Still, thanks for doing the video, it was helpful nevertheless.
