Here are all improvements found so far...
Luigi:
As /u/bonfire10 pointed out, Luigi is able to fall off the ledge, perfect mash down b, misfire right, then up B to the ledge. gfycat.com/BadWideeyedBarb. This gets him out of that area but he gets stuck in the pit right here, i.imgur.com/QPFEN9C.png. Because of this he stays in the same spot.
Ness:
Ness can actually make it out of the first area. When I played I just assumed that the PK Thunder would just fizzle upon hitting the platform but as +Andrew Ricklefs pointed out, It doesn't, and I am able to make it out of the first zone. He can also make it to the next area, and pass Luigi on the tier list

Dr. Mario:
Dr. Mario, Mario, Marth, and Roy can use a tech to extend their up b's slightly. I couldn't find much information on this tech other than this blog post - ikneedata.com/ and like one other smashboard post. I used this tech on Doc, this was as far as I could make it. - gfycat.com/BeneficialGlossyGilamonster While he is unable to make it to the platform he does gain a bit of height, sending him to the top of F tier. This is supposedly possible with Marth and Roy but I was unable to get this to happen. Mario doesn't get any benefits from this tech.
Mario:
Mario can make it! Thanks to the help of @|3rian on ssbwiki's discord, Mario is now able to walljump on the last area, putting him into A tier. Heres a gif of it - gfycat.com/LinearVigorousHalcyon
The explanation for this is pretty complicated, so I'll cover it in my next video, which will show off all improvements listed here. He finishes at 17.21, putting him in the middle of Falcon and Ice Climbers.
Kirby:
Using down B before up B gives him a bit of height, boosting him up to 2nd place on F tier.
FAQ:
Q: Can't Link do the boomerang superjump as well?
A: Yes he can, but due to him throwing his boomerang faster and not being able to angle it as well, he can't use it on the Brinstar Escape Shaft.
Q: How did you do Peach's run?
A: I used the 20xx training pack to guarentee a bomb pull everytime, but if I hadn't, that Peach run would have a 0.0000000000000000000812234494% chance in happening. If I did the math correctly.

Stingrays110 Mario can vertical UpB; also the upBwalljump is most likely possible if spaced correctly
The up B extend works on Mario but it doesn't give him enough height to escape the room. And I don't think the up B walljump depends on spacing, as the walljump at 4:24 is done with Mario right up against the wall.
Technically using up b takes you're double jump while in the air, so every character that you had do an aerial up b did a jump as well. Disqualifying them from their spot on the tier list.
Up B doesn't take your double jump, it just puts you into free fall. Notice that if you get hit out of an Up B without using a jump, you will retain it. - th-cam.com/video/xEoHVxCM7gI/w-d-xo.html

Nope. They patched it. You can only tether on ledges now. Melee had glitches like that cause it had to be developed in 13 months

Link can do a standard jump (not a backflip) in Zelda 2, Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons, Minish Cap, Breath of the Wild, and Faces of Evil. If you include backflips, then it's every 3D Zelda game, plus the 2D ones I mentioned.
True, but it has never been a feature for his games. He obviously jumps in some cases (most notably botw and Zelda 2) but so far the norm has been to have him traverse vertical puzzles with tools :p
I'd honestly argue that it sort of is a feature in the 2D Game Boy Zelda games. For 3D, not so much.

Jigglypuff has always had a gimmick with it's shield mechanics, it's explained that with Jigglypuff's balloon like body type if it suffers a shield break this will result in an instant K.O. despite what the player's damage ratio is at. However as demonstrated in an event where a player cannot be "smashed" or K.O.'ed Jigglypuff will instead travel a long distance and land somewhere else along the playing field.

Everyone has 2 base jumps (besides kirby) when you wall jump you don't waste either of your base jumps so technically wall jumps are free game. Meaning he is actually being completely fair and consistent.

In pretty much every smash's competitive scene, Young/Toon Link has been better than normal Link, just because he's faster and has a smaller hurtbox.
Link can use that glitch, too, though (v1.0). No idea why the uploader didn't try it with him.
Link throws the boomerang too far and can't angle it as well as YL can. Check out the pinned comment, it has a lot of information.
