- Took me long enough. Same rules as last time; no jumping, wall jumping, or up specials. However, wall techs are allowed.

Figured I'd leave a comment like this now that the video is 7 months old. I did not jump anywhere on this video. Anywhere you see a jump is most likely a rising grapple. A rising grapple involves getting into the air, (usually by ducking under a platform) then airdodging up and instantly grappling. The momentem I gained from the airdodge doesn't stop since I canceled it. You can also look at the end of stage bonuses for "Cement Shoes", which is awarded if you complete a level without jumping. If you're still confused just ask in the comments.

8:30 is a rising grapple. Its just that I was too close to the wall, so it put me into free fall. If you use the comma and period keys to go frame by frame, you can see the duck, the airdodge, and the grapple.
How did you get the game in 16:9 screen?
I used the Widescreen Support gecko code on dolphin, then set the aspect ratio to force 16:9.

I got so lost watching this I forgot that it was a jumpless challenge and then was blown away when I realized how little of an issue that had been.
Some of this is just so BM to the CPU I love it.

I thought a tool-assisted run wouldn't technically do anything that wasn't presumably possible with a regular game assuming you could somehow ensure frame-perfect inputs?
The only reason I was able to do that bomb combo was because enemies take less knockback on very hard.
