YOU`RE BACK! I am SO happy to hear your voice and the fundraising is such a great idea! We have to try and help people with mental illness and I can`t thank you enough for those positive comments! God bless your channel and your journey! Cheers from Quebec!!!
I cannot explain how happy I was to see a new video from you. Then I see you're doing a month long donation for NAMI. Keep being you, you're awesome bro!
1950 Mercury? DAMN! I was about to comment about getting a 1949 Buick Roadmaster, a pair of aviators and a Blue Tip matchstick to chew on. I suppose next you'll say that's not a Blue Tip.
I'm glad to see you back, I missed you. It's nice to see someone who isn't afraid to talk about mental illness. I myself struggle with anxiety and depression. This is one of my fav movies because the car.
Welcome back. I appreciate this channel. We need some stuff to lighten up. Your humor does just that. Thanks for the laughs and I hope you keep growing this channel.
Stallone ghost directed this film to a large extent despite George P Cosmatos's name on the credits. We know this because when director Kevin Jarre was fired from Tombstone, Kurt Russell had to start directing it himself to keep it from being cancelled. Russell needed a DGA director to make the movie kosher. Russell had worked with Stallone on Tango and Cash, where Stallone had took over before the end and at some point they talked and Stallone was like "Call George, he's cool, he'll help you out." I'm not saying Cosmatos did nothing on either film, but whatever the opposite of Kubrick is, that's what he was.
Fun facts: The bad guy in this is one of the goons that was killed in the beginning of The Terminator (1984) He was ALSO Shao Kahn in Mortal Kombat: Annihilation (1997)
Hello mate, RedEye I was thinking about you earlier, I hope you have been looking after yourself and are doing ok. You have been missed my friend, and this is a great choice to come back with.
Glad to have you back. Very happy about the fundraiser. I’ll be sharing this video on my social media. Mental health is very important because I’ve been fighting with mine all of my life.
Stumbled upon this on a rabbithole, I really enjoyed this! Good luck on getting better, I really get where you are, it does get better in time. Keep on keepin' on
Good review. Welcome back! Some trivia for everybody. The guy who plays the Main Baddie in this action is Brian Thompson. He started out in a cameo in the first Terminator movie and proceed to appear in almost a hundred movies. He personally financed a satire of the 80s action movies (The Extendables). It is pretty funny. He makes a couple of digs at action stars you might've heard of.
Yay! I'm thrilled that you're back and I truly hope you're in a better place now. I'm sure you want to make us happy but we can't be happy if you're not. Take care.
Glad you're back, and I would have sworn that you had already uploaded a review of this. I had a vhs of this as a kid, so it was always in my watch-rotation. Seagal wishes he'd starred in this badass flick.
Hey the speaker for Red Eye Reviews, thank you for mentioning the car in the movie Cobra. You're so right that is a cool car which is one of the biggest reasons why I like the movie.
I was thinking about you the other day Mr. Red Eye. I am so happy to see you back ! You sound so much happier and relaxed . NAMI has been helpful in my life . Thank you for bringing attention to this awesome organization 🌸 “Cobra “ is one of my favorite guilty pleasures
Welcome back you legend! Been here since early days and your natural humour and style makes you my favourite living movie reviewer. Looking forward to more interviews and movies with you. Stay healthy and happy mate. With love from 🇦🇺
It's so great to have you back and to hear that you're doing well, RedEye! This masterpiece also got an Italian remake (clearly the ultimate badge of honour) starring footballer-turned-B-Movie-actor Fred Williamson, imaginatively titled Black Cobra (Il Cobra Nero), which would make a great companion piece to this video. ps. your Stallone impression is every bit the equal of your Seagal!
YES!!! MISSED YOU REDEYE! Really proud makes my day to hear your voice with my morning coffee. Putting the finishing touches on MY NINJA and I am happy to say you have even more Steven Seagull lines in the movie 😎📺💥
I'm glad to see your back man. I hope all is well and stay well. You're videos are a highlight of TH-cam to be honest. Welcome back. I'm looking forward too seeing more of your channel.
So glad you're back. Your reviews are always so much fun and have become part of a weekly movie night! Take your time getting back, we miss your stuff but we want you happy and healthy or something.
So glad you're back, staying happy, and staying healthy. I laughed so many times at your hot takes in this video. Made me realize how much I'd missed these videos. Also, I love how you're all "oh I'll only be able to do one vid a week" as if that's not already an insane schedule. Welcome back, and pace yourself!
they really did my man Brian Thompson dirty in this. He really committed to the role and then a whole bunch of scenes actually explaining the night slasher's motives were cut. Also, welcome back. 🙂
Welcome back Red Eye! Since I had quite a few times commented under your videos, here I go: - isn't that cop Cobra almost beats the same guy who played Scorpio in first Dirty Harry? - that short scene with photographer... How in the Seven Hells did I missed it during my first viewing? - "Cobra" Cobretti is way too cool for being anything but 80's cowboy cop: cool car, cool bike, cool 2 day facial hair, cool coat, cool 1911 with cool custom grips, cool SMG (IIRC that's Finnish Jatimatic, a weapon that played in final scenes of Red Dawn)
Hey Red Eye I'm glad you're back man and most of us understand you have other things going on, the videos are always entertaining and worth the wait. ✌
Before I even watch the video, I just want to tell you that I'm really glad you're back and I hope you're feeling better. I have been struggling myself for over 18 years now and have recently started therapy, so I know how hard it can be.
So glad you're back!! I would put on a playlist of yours every night to sing me to sleep. There's something comforting in Segal's idiocy and your reaction to it.
Its funny to see Stalone's version of Beverly Hills Cop in Cobra. Glad to see your back, and hopefully whatever downs you been having for months? Hope it got better.
Welcome back my man! I hope you're doing better, and don't feel pressure to upload too much, go at your own pace. I'll be honest, I'm not doing great, I'm still mourning the loss of my mom in early October, but I'm slowly getting back on my feet. This video was very fun, thank you for the laughs. I found this movie to be pretty bad but at least it's fun, and that "pig" segment cracks me up every time lol.
Oh my gosh!!! I’m so glad you are back! I was literally checking your channel a couple days ago wondering why I hadn’t seen a vid in a while. I wanted to make sure that I didn’t miss anything. I hope you’re doing well! And thank you for being so entertaining!! 🙏🏻
Missed ya man. Hope the break did you good. What a movie to come back to. Iove I cobra. Pure over the top 80s bliss with Brian Thompson as the antagonist...
Welcome back. Glad you made it through whatever the situation was. And what happened the actor that said pig a lot. I was genuinely afraid of that guy....for real.
YOU`RE BACK! I am SO happy to hear your voice and the fundraising is such a great idea! We have to try and help people with mental illness and I can`t thank you enough for those positive comments! God bless your channel and your journey! Cheers from Quebec!!!
Not you but We 🤣🤣🤣
"go ahead, I don't shop here" is a great line. Forgot how much I enjoyed this movie
Thanks!
How did I miss this?! Thank you very much :)
I cannot explain how happy I was to see a new video from you. Then I see you're doing a month long donation for NAMI. Keep being you, you're awesome bro!
"The fire factory ... where all the fire is made." 🤣
Also, welcome the heck back!! 👍
1950 Mercury? DAMN! I was about to comment about getting a 1949 Buick Roadmaster, a pair of aviators and a Blue Tip matchstick to chew on. I suppose next you'll say that's not a Blue Tip.
It might be! The trivia I found said Mercury but I'm by no means a connoisseur
Welcome back, Redeye! I’m glad you’re well and can’t wait to see more of your reviews (especially Steven Seagal’s masterpieces) 😊
Wobble, stumble, veer here n there, as long as you're moving forward, you're still winning.
I will always love this movie. The cutting of the pizza with the scissors will never make any sense. Welcome back!
5:40 can't believe you didn't comment on how Stallone was casually slicing his pizza with scissors
Welcome back!!! So great to hear your voice again!! Love your December fundraiser, too. We’re IN!! 🎉 🎉 Perfect movie…80s cliches gone wild! ❤❤
Thank you so much! It's good to be back :)
Happy to have you back, happy to hear you healthy, and happy for your review of this criminally underrated and delightfully (and deeply weird) movie.
Love your content, keep yourself healthy bro, that's most important. We love ya.
I'm glad to see you back, I missed you. It's nice to see someone who isn't afraid to talk about mental illness. I myself struggle with anxiety and depression. This is one of my fav movies because the car.
My wife: there is a raccoon in the yard, do something!!!
Me: call the cobra!
She: 😑
Me: 😎🐍
She: punches me
Me: ok ok I'll handle the raccoon thing
Welcome back. I appreciate this channel. We need some stuff to lighten up. Your humor does just that. Thanks for the laughs and I hope you keep growing this channel.
Your break did you good, at 10:55 you said "regardless" instead of "irregardless".
Glad you're feeling better!
Welcome back 🤗
Sledge Hammer as the creepy cameraman…not to mention Shao Khan as the Night Slasher!! I loved the 80s!

Your Back!
Hello mate, RedEye I was thinking about you earlier, I hope you have been looking after yourself and are doing ok. You have been missed my friend, and this is a great choice to come back with.
Cobra was banned in Sweden. The good old days when Porn had a G rating and violence got censored.
Glad your back mate, I need a laugh. Have a good one
We've all missed you buddy! The awesome community you've attracted is only a reflection of you and your content. Glad to have you back!
Yes you return!
Good to have you back! 😊 and thank you for including the pizza / scissors scene…because that was insane! 😂
You just made my day! So glad to see you back! Now, let's sit back and watch with joy :D

The "Night Slasher?" Oh, I smell lawsuit. -- Richard Ramirez
The man who parks the bike and goes into the grocery store at the beginning is a real American hero and a role model.
Yessss one of my all time favourites !

Fantastic to have you back. 💖
The railroad tracks at the end of the movie by the motel are so strange. It looks like they were edited in in post somehow.
Great to have you back! Always love your videos, but honestly, do them at whatever pace is comfortable to you. Good luck with the donations!
they really did my man Brian Thompson dirty in this. He really committed to the role and then a whole bunch of scenes actually explaining the night slasher's motives were cut. Also, welcome back. 🙂
