Join us as we explore secret off-road trails hidden deep within an abandoned sand mine in Tennessee! These rugged trails aren’t just a challenge for our 4x4s-they also come with a dark history. The sand from this mine played a crucial role in the Manhattan Project during WWII, helping to build the first atomic bombs.
In Episode 3 of Hell & Back Adventures, we tackle the intense terrain while uncovering the forgotten history behind these trails. Watch as our crew takes on rock crawling, mud pits, and water crossings-all while diving into the eerie past of this once top-secret location.

The wait is over! Hope everyone enjoys the last day as much as we did 😂😂
Dude! Finally 🤘 Can’t wait for the next one!
Hell yeah brother
This was great to watch, but I bet it was even better to experience! Thanks for the entertainment!!
Best content on the you tube hands down!
How you guys don't rack up millions of views is beyond me.
"Hit it with your pinata!" had me rolling 😂
Pea Gravel wet is nasty to climb! Love me some sandmines! I can live with -3mm on stickies. Fantastic content. Always love these series.
Good Morning FRR family
Good morning bud! Enjoy the show 🥳🤘
@FlexRocksRollovers it was freaking awesome can't wait to see more adventures
Marvin please bring bleepin jeep and lite brite to hell and back
I’ll try! You guys need to mention that in their comments & let them know 🤘
And Peck Brothers.
Please not lite brite I can’t stand those idiots
Like to see the peckers in 24HaB too. Didn’t like them to start but have become a weekly watcher. Litebrite? They wouldn’t do it. Scared
What an epic trail! I had no idea about the connection to the Manhattan Project!
Stoked for this series shout out from western Washington 🙏
Great stuff, Love the Sandmines! I do have a question, what ended up being wrong with your trans? seemed like it was really struggling then it was fine, what was the fix?
Good morning men great video love this channel thank you for doing Kentucky and Tennessee hope you come back for more fun 😊 👍
What kind of rig do you think you would need for the sand mines trail?
Small lift, bigger tires, Front & Rear Lockers & a winch and you’ll be fine. If you run it the normal way (we ran it backwards) you really only have 1-2 obstacles that are mandatory. The rest is all optional. The gate keeper can get nasty if it’s wet. That’s why a winch is recommend.
Great times!! Thanks for this. What a great adventure with good friends
The opening scene where the shepherd is sleeping in the hammock made my day😂
That’s Miles! ❤ 🐕
Well I have enjoyed this series about as much as anything I've ever watched on TH-cam. This has been awesome!! Can't wait to do some of these trails ourselves. Thanks Marvin for the great videos!
Great to hear! Thank you bud! I’ll do more of these for sure!
First
🥳🥳🥳🤘
Best way to start a morning 🤘
🥳🥳🥳🤘
Sick wheeling, Hello for Australia!
Thanks Mate!! I’d absolutely LOVE to check out some Australian wheeling one day! High up on my bucket list 🤘
Cheers 🍻 from Tennessee
Cheers bud! Enjoy the show!
@@FlexRocksRollovers I’m about an hour from windrock and ride a lot
Of downhill mtb. I got the pleasure to see some of the trails you guys wheel, and man it’s impressive!
@@andystreet339 Ha! Yeah video doesn't do these trails justice!
Y’all need to oil your rigs. The days of rain and mud are making them squeaky and rattle rolly
lol it was bad towards the end of the trip 😂 I had a bad u joint in my steering column. It’s fixed now.
@@FlexRocksRollovers awesome wheelin. If you come through Colorado hit a guy up - I had to sell the rig but I still watch like a champ. I can stack rocks for you on carnage canyon
I love your content but the audio needs to be adjusted, can’t hear much. Keep it up I’m jealous.😢
Definitely looked like a hell of a time! I wish I had some close friends that I could do this with.
That's what weekend wheeling should be.😉
Now we see why the east coast wheelers rely on interco tires. Awesome trails.
Mega, hat Spaß gemacht sich den Trip anzusehen.... Grüße aus Deutschland...
Love this series. Looked like an epic trip!!
Haven't missed a Hell and Back yet when is the next one
Great adventure, thanks. 👍
Thanks for this great series
Lol Miles 🐕

Fun series! Should have measured tread loss on all 3 rigs.
You’re right… next time!
You sold your soul. Crossing your arms is the sign of Osiris and adding the devil horns just makes it that more obvious.
lol that’s hilarious. Rock n Roll bud 🤘😄🤘Enjoy your Sunday
@@FlexRocksRollovers don’t play stupid
Oh bud after making a comment like that you shouldn’t be pointing fingers and calling other people stupid 🤫
@@FlexRocksRollovers now that you know what it means I’m sure you won’t be doing that again.
Marvin when are,you going to start selling tickets and taking 20 vehicles? Hell and Back is a trip every off-roader should take!
Wouldn't be the same.
@@Onlyyota I agree , it would be better! Can you imagine 20 vehicles doing what these 3 did for a whole trip? It’d be 20 episodes long!
@@MrTinTennessee I disagree there. To many vehicles
@@Onlyyota do you mean 20 is too many? Ok make it ten. It would still be a big draw to the community as a whole, not to mention Marvin’s channel.
@MrTinTennessee I would say seven max.
