It's so interesting to see how this channel's shifted from a straightforward academic menswear guide to almost a reality show where you're taught menswear by your favorite "characters".
Totally agree with you on this one. And I'm really not sure whether it's a positive or rather a negative aspect of this channel's development over the course of last few years...
I trust you mean this in a positive sense! We hope that by giving our viewers a bit more insight into our own lives, we'll create a closer-knit community--but of course, we still endeavor to put education and advice at the forefront of our content. Thanks for watching and commenting! - Preston
I see this as a positive. I liked the channel when I was just seeing Raphael, and learning classic style rules to follow. But his style is too much for me, a construction worker. Seeing Preston and Kyle as well as a glimpse into their wardrobes makes the channel seem more approachable. Not just information for special occasions.
I have followed this channel for years now. When Preston was first introduced I was skeptical of Preston's ability to match Raphael's suave energy, yet Preston brings his own erudite persona. Preston upholds and displays the finest of qualities that make a gentleman, a host and a sartorial scholar. Thank you for your work. I always find this channel comforting and peaceful, especially since my military life is chaotic.
Hi Preston! I love this video. As a blind person, I’m really interested in how you organize your ties, cufflinks, and pocket squares. Pls make a video on this. I really enjoy watching a person with an impairment dressing well and living life. You’re fantastic and you inspire me to dress well. Thank you and I wish you all the best.
I am happy with my humble wardrobe so far. It's by no means 'Raphael-esk' (you would need 3 days to go through his item by item) but due to diversity materials patterns and by combinations (that's the key) it looks acceptably large. The greatest lack is on bow ties and I love them.
Equally as enchanting as Part 1. Thanks Preston. Again, I'm waiting for the magic wand to morph your incredible collection into a woman's classic wardrobe. 🧡
Preston, my man...your voice is as musical as a flute!!! Love, absolutely love your humility and sense of elegant style. Now, with the beard debuting in your more recent upload, I think it'd be fair to say you're no longer just Preston schluter but Count Preston Schluter!!! Lots of love. Keep up the good work
Nicest collection of handkerchiefs, cuff links, and ties I've ever seen. I've got lots of ties but nothing compared to these---- 'Micro floral', that's a term I can start using.
I truly do admire you Preston. I am not yet an adult, however I do wish to become wealthy enough to build a high quality and comprehensive wardrobe. At the moment, I have become increasingly more interested in menswear, but have always had a prominent curiosity in the field. As a mere teenager, I have a tight budget to work with, so second hand items are the most sensible option for a person such as myself. Your videos on how to inspect a clothing article for quality has helped me greatly. I am trying my absolute hardest to culture and gain a good dress sense by the age of eighteen, seeing as many people judge by appearances. What I am trying to say (in the most long winded way possible) is, thank you, for your guidance.
Really enjoyed this look at your wardrobe!!! I'd love to hear more about your tie strap and how you made it; I'm interested in making one myself. Seems like a brilliant idea!
When you buy vintage ties, how do you clean them? And I'm sorry to say this but your sock drawer is a mess. I really recommend KonMari method for storing socks.
I had no idea that Preston went to wayzata I also went to wayzata but only in elementary school. I put the puzzle pieces on together because I know you live in Minnesota and the Trojans are wayzata.
"wore this on my wedding day" .... can we please have a photo of you and the bride? I would like to see what you wore, and how it corresponded with the ensemble of your bride, as I am interested in marriage men style.
yeah that was so quick hardly got a good look at his outfit. would have been nice to see wedding ring, and a photo of him and bride or entire wedding party
There are infinite shapes and sizes of hats, so there’s bound to be something that suits you. Just go to a hat store and try different hats on and have fun.

Please to be saying, put more on your channel than a waltz in the Viennese style. Then I may think more of your rugged style.
And I for one certainly welcome this new format, it's wonderful getting to know the gentleman that make the Gentleman's Gazette better!
Thanks for pt. 2 Preston. I would love to see Raphael and Kyle do a tour of their wardrobes as well.
Kyle next though!!
Raphael going to need 4 parts 😂
@@smeagscientist i think that still may not be enough, lol
24 minutes in and I only now saw that this is part 2 :D

Kudos to Preston for having the self-confidence to broadcast images of his underwear drawer to the whole world lol

Absolutely love your use of yellow and blue in today’s outfit, it looks so harmonic.

Handpainted tree design was actually my favourite cufflinks.
Yes! Loved those!

Hey could you make a video about classic 1930s mustaches and facial hair?

GREAT VIDEO! Loved the beautiful ties and pocket squares! Nice job Preston!
Is it just me or is he looking more put together each day?

The lovers, the dreamers and me.

@@cecilyerker in a nice way
Impressive collection 👍 But let's appreciate that it is also organised😍
Yes my driller Preston what a MADLAD just an absolute G
I absolutely adore the colours at 19:19!
Please do one of these for Raphael
Should ties be hung on crowded hangers like this, or if you have the space, rolled up separately. What’s best ??
My thinking is ties do have weight which when hanging puts a load on them, so if have the space to roll, then why not?
Thank you for the tour!
Love your accessories Preston love your channel I can't stop saying that it's just too good to say no to
Loved it. Cheers from Mexico!
I clicked for that gorgeous jewelry box of cufflinks
yes I wanted to see this video so bad!!
Great job Preston. Enjoyed the video.
Will you do a warm weather black tie video?
Glad to hear you've been to the Nelson! Hopefully during your visit you didn't get any barbeque on your suits!
eat carefully i imagine
Where did you get the cuff link display box?
Brass collar stays sounds interesting to have.
Very interesting hangers you use for your ties and pocket squares
I’ve never seen them before
What’re they called?
I’d like to get some
Thank you for the tour....
Preston, love both parts of the tour but no wrist watch?
I like the black fedora to be honest.
I'm wary of guys wearing fedoras except for Preston. He looks dignified in them and I'm 100% certain he's never gonna tell me he's a "nice guy" 😂
I was waiting for the ascots the whole time
Preston concluded the tour without showing us the Superman box in the top of his closet?! A video on Preston's superhero stuff please!
Been waiting for this.
I swear that aerial shot in the intro is the intersection of Broadway & Central in Northeast Minneapolis. Are you in the Twin Cities?
Yes this channel is based in Minnesota
I love the outfit at 2:15

wool wash or gentle shampoo. best one is Soak.
What does this friend do? How is he collecting such pieces? Very nice
Can we please get Raphael's tie collection next?
I had no idea that Preston went to wayzata I also went to wayzata but only in elementary school. I put the puzzle pieces on together because I know you live in Minnesota and the Trojans are wayzata.
Bowler. Well done, Preston!
Very cool.

Aw Preston’s married!
yes would be nice to see
yeah that was so quick hardly got a good look at his outfit. would have been nice to see wedding ring, and a photo of him and bride or entire wedding party
Lol at 1st glance i thought that box wasa producers beat machine..wow he has lots of nice rings...cool🤘
Anyone know where to find batwing or club (round) bow ties? (Not black tuxedo ones)
Try Etsy and eBay. Seems to be plenty of them being sold online, I don’t know what stores sell them in person though.
Preston is a cool dude…
Fantastic
Does anybody else hear Preston's new voice it has changed but I like it
😍😍
20:30 P stands for Polyester
A video introducing the wives of the Gentlemen here would be amazing. Those ladies keep you guys well dressed!
1:09 hold on preston could be a model lol
"casual" proceeds To show white tie

@@cecilyerker that would be a good topic for them if they haven't done it yet

I once went to a fancy-dress party dressed as a handbag. Unfortunately, I was arrested on suspicion of being an accessory. M.
That’s a truly egregious pun sir 😅
