Hard to believe that I've already been releasing videos here at the Gentleman's Gazette for almost a year! Thanks to everyone for your support--here's to much more content in the future celebrating our classic menswear community! - Preston
Thanks for your awesome personality and style. You do a lot for the channel creative wise. Not many channels on TH-cam have such a wide variety of content that fits together so well.
I can definitely see you as a college professor so the academic label suits you well. You remind me a bit of Niles Crane from the show Frasier. Your boss is right you're a good fit for Gazette.

I don’t get why Preston gets the hate that he does, I personally love his style and think he’s a great example of how more young men should dress, I am a teen and frequently wear my penny loafers and cardigan, if he likes to dress like that, let him! It’s him wearing the clothes after all.

Sven and Preston. You both are a breath of fresh air seldom found these times. Preston... Don't pay any attention to people who try to hurt you with cheap comments, you handled it like a true Gentleman, best of health young man, Keep it up Gents.
I think Preston comes across as an all-round nice guy. Simpatico, as the Italians say, or 'ein Sympathieträger' in German. It takes a certain degree of guts to stick to your own style, and when you couple that with good manners, it makes you a winner.
Never had it crossed my mind that Preston looked like a robot. He looks like an intelligent young man, that had a very good upbringing by a classy family. Kudos to you , young sir!
I think the ability to openly communicate a condition that you have and help others understand you better, in a way that doesn't make them uncomfortable or embarrassed for asking/noticing, might as well be a hallmark of a gentleman. Bravo!
Great video guys, interesting to hear you speak a bit more candidly. I never would guessed Preston had Cerebral Palsy. Good for him not letting it dictate his life. If that was me I might be too nervous to be in performing arts. Also while there's only a few comments I'd like to say its almost entirely thanks to you guys that I just commissioned my first custom suit. Really appreciate all that knowledge.
Hey Gentleman's Gazette folks, I believe this is the right way you folks have dealt with the "elephant in the room" of people and their reactions, both to the style of Gentleman's Gazette and Preston's "disability" (in actuality his unique ability). The best way to deal with "hate" or criticism is humour and honesty and openness. Well done to you! I am a young man myself (one year and some over Preston), and although I don't apply everything I learn from here verbatim, I do understand and appreciate your thoroughness, your hearkening back to history, your appreciation for good, lasting and timeless quality and your hard work to produce what you do. And while I may dress a bit more "modernly", I always hearken back to the principles I have learned for the great work you do! I believe the "critics/haters/etc" are most likely a bit less cultured or simply misunderstanding of the aim of the channel and make bad judgements, or are simply here to rack up "likes" and to be class clowns. So simply keep doing what you're doing, and make light of it all. Preston, you're the man! I wish you all the best in all of your pursuits and even in your health and wellbeing. And same to you, Sven - which by the way, it speaks well of you to have hired Preston on the basis of his amazing personality and knowledge, rather than being swayed by an image only perspective.
My wife and I have been watching Gentlemen's Gazette for a couple of months and truly enjoy your channel. We love listening to your advice and appreciate the genuine comrardarie between Sven and Preston. We were both stunned at the number of comments that are aimed at Preston regarding his physique and demeanor. As for my wife and I , we find him delightful and refreshing. We love his sense of humor, knowledge, and wit. We have the same affection for you as well, Sven. I have changed my approach to dressing and grooming myself because of your channel. To be fair to you Preston, the comments about your presence that are complimentary are very nice, i.e., comparing you to Taron Eggerton and to the Marvel Cinematic Universe character, Vision. We look forward to conintinuing to watch your channel and learning from both of you gentlemen!!

Thank you so much for this very informative mini documentary on Preston. I appreciate this young man now more than ever. He is my favorite spokesperson on your TH-cam channel. I would never have suspected that he was dealing with cerebral palsy. I applaud him for his courage and his vitality for life. Thank you Preston for all that you bring to the Gentlemans Gazette!
I feel like not enough people are saying that Preston is absolutely beautiful! What a chiseled, gorgeous face! And great eyes, too! Are you single, Preston?! Let's get married!
I'm an English literature student and I appreciate the way Preston speaks, the grammatical structure and vocabulary he uses. Everything (from a linguistic point of view at least) is on point!
Thank you for the interview. Great to see Preston as he is authentic in his style and approach. Seeing a young person who is well spoken and worldly is a great complement to your channel. Love the channel as it touches on more than clothes but on equally important topics (confidence, culture, manners) that make a man a gentleman. Glad to see Preston can take comments (nice / not so nice) as he appears confident and grounded.
Raphael is really good at interviewing. He carries on a topic without interruption, and the way he asks questions (and the questions themselves) make it feel more like a friendly conversation rather than an interview. Keep up the good work!
Preston is truly an inspiring personality. Glad we got to know him a bit better. His confidence appears deep and solid. Also he is so talented, eloquent, insightful and interesting. Wish I could ooze such confidence and charisma.
Preston is a handsome devil, and I dig his aesthetic. Thanks for the info about CP. I didn’t realize that it could cause you to burn more calories, but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense. I think people compare you to an Android because you have a remarkably refined personal aesthetic, and carry yourself and speak in a formal manner. Androids often have the same characteristics and mannerisms because it causes them to stand apart subtly from the humans in the story.
I'm older, but I appreciate Preston's style. Classic is classic for a reason; He seems a genuine dude with a challenge he's embraced and conquering. We need more manly men like him to show the current culture a man is a gentleman who dresses well, speaks well, takes care of his responsibilities and furthers our society. Glad to have a young man embracing these ideals.
A much needed video... answered a lot of question especially about his cerebral palsy... loved how they didn’t stay away from this topic and handled it like true gentlemen
All I want to say is that Preston always looks very good. He dresses nicely and his way of speaking is super clear. I wish I knew how to dress, speak and sing the way he does. He is such a source of inspiration. The world would be a better place if there were more people like him rather than those haters wasting their time writing mean and meaningless comments.

When I watch Preston's videos what I see is his incredible sense of style and how well he wears the vintage look. I also love how knowledgeable and confident he is about the subject matter, Keep up the great work!
Thank you for this wonderful video. Preston is the personification of what a gentleman should be, especially for such a young person. He is articulate, soft-spoken, well-read, and sophisticated. The trolls who leave snide, crude, and insulting remarks couldn't carry out his garbage can. They are cowards who hurl insults while hiding behind the anonymity of their computers. Don't these jerks realize that it is hurtful and disrespectful to slam someone's appearance in a misguided attempt for humor. I'm a fan of Preston and I hope he never changes anything.
Preston is an elegant, eloquent, empathetic and exceptional gentleman...always thought so...a good man...thanks for letting us get to know him a little better...check out his singing...he's a gentle superstar...fan of the channel as soon as I subcribed.
I really like Preston's appreciation for classic film you guys really need to create a series on golden age celebrities and their style to continue after your Cary Grant video • Clark Gable • Humphrey Bogart • David Niven • Fred Astaire • Gregory Peck • Jimmy Stewart to name a few
"Part of being here at the Gentleman´s Gazette is always trying to behave as a Gentleman would" Preston Schlueter. Man you need to get that on a T-shirt.
You're a hero, man. You have conquered the very fears that hold back so many people from achieving their true potential. You can sing, act, debate, orate/speak publicly, deliver comedy, be yourself on camera and let any negativity roll off your back while taking steps forward. That's incredible. Obviously, your style is clean and timeless, but that's a given as GG would only hire those who would help raise the bar.
I thought it was a bit much to read dozens of comments criticizing Preston's appearance. After the first few we got the idea. It went on for too long and I hope it didn't make him feel uncomfortable.
It did go way too long... I was feeling uncomfortable after the first two minutes. It turned into a roasting session really fast. He took it gracefully but there was definitely some tension.
Preston has the most distinct speech of anyone on TH-cam. This is very “old school” but it’s perfect for him and I admire that. He’s one of the few people who consistently and correctly pronounces the word “to” in a sentence. That’s actually difficult to do.
I have a whole new respect for Preston. I appreciate the transparency and willingness to be vulnerable. The aforementioned is basically nonexistent in the arena of men's style content, except those brief moments when "some creators" feign humanness to look less like a d-bag. Being gentleman does not mean being pretentious or having a big ego. Preston embraces who he is unapologetically, and that's pretty cool. Keep it up.
I for one appreciate what both of you give to us all. I am not ashamed to admit I've learned much, and continue to learn, thanks to you both. Preston, you are an inspiration.
Whole new respect for Preston! A admire how he doesn't let his disability get in his way or even be a main focus in his life. Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge!
Preston, don’t let ignore t people bring you down! You project a kind and gentle demeanor which is refreshing in an age of thugs and aggression. Keep doing what you’re doing and be your self. You are great the way you Are!
We love ya Preston! You OWN your style and be proud! Also thank you for sharing you personal info about CP! Keep up the fantastic job, you make the channel even better than it was! Cheers from Boston!
Preston does not look like Clark Kent ... Clark Kent looks like Preston .... people tell me I look like Clark Gable I say no no no Clark Gable looks like me ... hope you take the correction well (positive comment)
As a new viewer coming back and watching these older videos, the comments section was a hard watch. Preston seems like such a nice guy and all the comments nowadays are so positive, so watching him get ridiculed and roasted unwarrantedly was tough to watch. Wish they would’ve sprinkled in more positive comments, but I’m glad to see he’s much more respected by the community now.
WOW I am SOOO glad to understand that Preston has Cerebral Palsy. I too have this condition, my version is a little more pronounced than his seems to be. But like him I am grateful that my intellect is unaffected. Thank You for addressing this with honesty and integrity. I have to admit that you sir, seem to be very much the gentleman.
Preston, you are a unique and interesting individual; an asset to this channel. I have been following you guys for about 4 years and I appreciate that you are both passionate and knowledgeable about classic men’s fashion. I’ve learned a lot from both of you. I’m an Ivy/Trad style man myself, and this channel is one of my go-tos for proper dress and etiquette in and situation. Keep up the good work!
Jeez, when Preston was describing his enthusiasms and preferences I felt like I was hearing my own. Bing Crosby is also my favorite singer and I love music, films, and radio from the 30s and 40s. I've always been told I have a very old soul. When my pals in high school were bumping rap music I was blasting Beethoven or Frank Sinatra. Cheers to you Preston for going your own way.
I sometimes don't know why people will insult someone because of his looks. Preston is a legend. He's the reason I watch gentleman's gazette everyday. Keep it up Preston and don't mind those suckers insulting you.
Preston's general attitude is inspiring. Harsh comments about his posture? Water on a duck's back, even if he has reason (rightfully so) to be offended. He is the definition of what a man should be. Confident in his identity, articulate, educated, and passionately engaged in his work. Chapeu.

I really like Preston's appreciation for classic film you guys really need to create a series on golden age celebrities and their style to continue after your Cary Grant video
• Clark Gable
• Humphrey Bogart
• David Niven
• Fred Astaire
• Gregory Peck
• Jimmy Stewart
to name a few
Great suggestion!
Preston is a gem! His unique combination of charm, good humor, intelligence and eloquence are rare.
"Part of being here at the Gentleman´s Gazette is always trying to behave as a Gentleman would" Preston Schlueter. Man you need to get that on a T-shirt.
Pavel Gentlemen don’t wear tshirts...
@@rorincampbell7894 being gentleman isn't about clothing, its how you act to others
I don't see any negative comments on Preston... they must have been removed.
brama you didn’t see the part of this video where they detail the negative comments he has received?
4D chess. Wear out the jokes faster.
I agree. It went on way too long and wasn't really necessary! Sven, if you're reading this, please take note! Less IS more!
Preston has the most distinct speech of anyone on TH-cam. This is very “old school” but it’s perfect for him and I admire that. He’s one of the few people who consistently and correctly pronounces the word “to” in a sentence. That’s actually difficult to do.
I love Preston, it's nice to see someone with a disability represented in fashion
Preston just showed the real gentleman attitude in this interview! Quelle prestance!
Keep it up.
To be honest Preston is one one of the rare sweetest people one can find on earth. Respect to you.
Even tho I'm a girl I still enjoy watching your content. You both are really awesome!
I for one appreciate what both of you give to us all. I am not ashamed to admit I've learned much, and continue to learn, thanks to you both. Preston, you are an inspiration.
Preston is the best thing happened to GG since its wonderful creation! Keep it up!
Whole new respect for Preston! A admire how he doesn't let his disability get in his way or even be a main focus in his life. Thank you for continuing to share your knowledge!
Love this improved, conversational style!
Preston is a certified legend. Great videos, excellent addition to the channel.
Is it just me or does he look like Clark Kent? (positive comment)
Preston does not look like Clark Kent ... Clark Kent looks like Preston .... people tell me I look like Clark Gable I say no no no Clark Gable looks like me ... hope you take the correction well (positive comment)
Maybe its his god-like jawline.
It’s just you.
Now I wanna see him without glasses
I’m just saying, I’ve never seen Preston and Clark Kent in the same room at the same time. 🤔☝🏼
Preston looks like a future cultural and style icon. In 30 years people are gonna comment” that dude looks like preston”
Well said!
I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy.
I never knew that Preston had Cerebral Palsy. Fascinating.
Preston has been such a great addition to the channel! Looking forward to more great videos from you both. :)
Preston shows how classy he is by not letting all the negative comments affect him. Class, through and through.
I really like Preston! He is very charismatic and talks in a nice, warm tone.
I'm so sorry for the insulting comments Preston, thanks for your work!
And people are still insulting him on this thread. Bullies everywhere.
There is bullying but most of it is banter.
Chapeu.
