In her autobiography she writes that he was most definitely a father figure in the beginning, but her marriage became a sincere, romantic, & loving one. Sophia stayed married & loyal to Ponti for 50 years until his death, and had two children with him. By today’s standards people would be horrified. Personally, I think it’s wonderful and a blessing if people are happy in their relationships.
