#lacithevintagegirlnextdoor hey there I think you thrifted some pretty good things today I have a question for you why didn't you buy the vintage pyrex for your pyrex cupboard and if they were a complete set you should go back and get it and my other question for you did you see any precious moments figurines lol I was hoping you would see some I love your videos you are awesome I hope in the future you will find more complete sets of pyrex and maybe will you bring home precious moments?
I just love you You're such a sweetheart. I think I speak for all of your fans we enjoy seeing your beautiful smile and happy disposition and enjoy your videos very much thanks for sharing your life with us big hugs from Wyoming
I had so much fun virtually shopping with you & your mom. It’s been kind of a blah couple of days here, so this was a nice escape from my own world into yours! ☺️
I was raised up in the 1950s and 60s when I watch your videos it takes me back to that time period.I like it that you are your own person and you dress the way you want to.
My mom still has her Mouli. I remember her making mounds of coleslaw with it. She liked the smaller size of it. She would also use it for shaved ice. Fun!
Those cookie jars were cute and then you get to the Stone Cold one lol. That really gave me a chuckle. The image of someone keeping their cookies in THAT jar really gets me. Also don't think that's quite antique lol.
I watch a lot of old videos that are colorized on TH-cam. Footage from the 1900s-1930s. Dressing up Victorian is difficult to do. I think Laci picked the right decade for vintage fashion.
I'm fortunate enough to live in a city that's on route 66. I love to drive down the old road to all the little towns with their antique gas stations along the way. There's one that has a 1940s museum that I absolutely adore; I like to imagine that the receeated rooms in the exhibit are my house. One of these days I hope to travel down old 66 & enter a wormhole, ending up back in time to the hey day of the old road & see all of the Chevy bel airs & the greaser guys on their motorcycles & stop at the soda fountain for a malt. I love the music of the 50s, the cars, the clothing, the mannerisms of the people. I was born in the 70's, completely the wrong decade for me. You're a fascinating lady & I admire you immensely for creating the world and the life you love!
16:06 I can't believe you found a paint-by-numbers of one of the four seasons paintings from the '50s! I'm very familiar with them all as my late mother painted them back in the day. My sister and I still have all four and we probably always will.
The hankies grabbed my attention at the first store, as well as that blue light fixture. Your dress was very pretty. Loved the sandals picking up the green in the dress.
thank you , for taking us along , your mom's camera coverage , was great...you bought some nice/cool things....so glad you have more than one cat ........take care and thank you , for sharing...
I am taking a trip next week and stopping in Oklahoma City. What are the names of the stores and what would you recommend? I'm really into vintage stuff and this sounds super fun so anything you have to tell me would be appreciated!
Wow. Love this channel. Everytime I go into an antique store near me, it just has brand new items or junk that no one would ever buy. The 1950s are the best.
I am a sucker for the vintage cards. Those I would have purchased for sure and they were a great bargain. Have fun with them. Lots of things caught my eye, but I look for the bargains, too and so I have to concentrate on those things that I can afford. It is always fun to look. Thanks for sharing your treasure hunt with us.
Laci I love watching your videos. You are such an inspiration you are so kind and caring and compassionate. I loved watching you and your mom shop. Have a beautiful day give all the Fur Babies a kiss I have two babies I love as well kitty cats are so sweet have a blessed day
I thought of you when I took my trip to Houston two weeks ago. We went into a vintage shop that sold clothes organized by the era! There were fifties, sixties, seventies, eighties and nineties clothing and they were amazing! It was so hard not to buy them all
My husband's aunt buys him vintage cooking items for Christmas. She gave him the Mouli Salad Maker one year, and we love it. Grates and slices cheese and veggies really well.
Vintage recipe books often included 'joke' recipes. As a child, I remember reading through many of the church/school/club created recipe books from the 50s and 60s and 70s with Recipes like "Elephant Stew", "Possum Casserole", and the like. Not certain this explains the Possum Stuffing, but sounds up that alley.
The colour/font on the label of that slip looks exactly like the Penneys stores that is very popular here in Ireland. The first store opened in the 60s I believe. Wouldn't it be amazing if the slip has made it's way from Ireland all the way over to you!
That would be lovely but we do have a large dept store chain called JC Penneys that doesn't have anything to do with Irish Penneys. Sadly it's about bankrupt now
I loved walking around the thrift store with you my lovely friend! So many gorgeous items to look at😃I loved the China wear🥰 Some great pieces doll & good to know that you have feline help in this production 😁Lots of love Xx
Love watching you shopping for vintage items and antiques! I also get overwhelmed walking in, seeing *everything* and not knowing where to start lol. I probably would love to get several of the dishes, especially serving platters and other kitchenware. When I heard the prices though, omgosh!! I definitely have to find some antique thrift stores and hope their prices are lower. I loved the salt and pepper shakers, especially the tiki ones you got. You're right, they will go great with the tiki glass set you showed recently! I like animal shaped ones. I forget what it was but there was a boy with a downward sideways glance and you were wondering what was going on with him. I seem to remember seeing that back in the day. I don't think my Mom or Grandma had it It may have been one of my Aunts or one of their friends. I remember thinking it was the cutest thing! I really enjoy watching your videos and can't wait to see notifications from you! Keep up the good work and take care!! Oh, I
It was lovely to see the vintage shops. There were so many beautiful things there! 😍 Thanks for taking us along with you. I love the tiki salt and pepper shakers that you purchased. They were such a great price too! ❤️❤️❤️
I love going to vintage shops like that. So much fun. I did like the dresser with the mirror. I think it was in the first shop you all were in. It was beautiful.
Hunters bring home various animals to eat back in the day. I remember my Mom telling me about her Mom's rabbit stew and stuffed eel, her favorite was frog legs. She was born in the 1930's so they grew & canned their own veggies.
The orange and green cups/bowls take me right back to my childhood! That's part of why I love looking at antique malls/thrift stores/yard sales. Besides the fact it's like a treasure hunt and you can get great deals, there is the sentimental aspect! You found some cool things, Laci. I look forward to a salad making video soon :-)
Hey, Laci. Fun time. That meat cookbook is full of recipes from the Depression and wartime - very thrifty and using available cuts of meat for the time.
Ah yes, the desert rose dish set! Those were my Grandma Betty’s dishes of choice, and every time I see them in a shop or at a flea market, I think of her.
I wish we had more antique stores near me. We have some but they're pretty far out there. I might have to just give in and go to them. I would have loved to dig through those $1 cookbooks. And at 16:56 I spy some more cookbooks? under the Pyrex. I would have liked to look through them. I probably would have grabbed the vintage cards as well, that's a really good price!
What great finds! I wish I could have been there. I would have picked up that bag of red and chrome handles. I'm missing a couple on a cabinet of mine. The tongue recipes sounded so disgusting. Haaa haaa! I'm looking forward to seeing how the old salad shooter works.
Hi Laci thank you so much for taking us along on your antique trip. Such fun. The cards are absolutely adorable, as are the Tiki salt and pepper shakers. Possum stuffing is a definite must, lol!! Your hair color looks fantastic. Thanks for brightening my day. Hope your week is as special as you are. ❤️
Your vintage salad shooter is a diamond in the rough. My mom had one. Loved it. Too many items to list as to what I would have bought at the vintage shops.
Loved that you took us with you! I really enjoyed it. I also love these places so much...in person. The energy just makes me want to puke, though. It’s always so intense.
I really love seeing this. As someone who has watched you for awhile I've seen some of the coolest finds youve shared with us so seeing you yikes at antique store prices felt so real. My friends tell me I have the best luck but there's so much of the time it's looking at beautiful things out of my price range and I really appreciate that honesty. Much love to you and what you do ♡
Thank you for taking us along with you at the antique stores! It was fun!! Please do it again but to thrift stores this time. I love to see what people find while "treasure hunting." Loved everything you picked up at the antique mall. Have a beautiful day :)
I love that you found that slicer! My mom had one that we used for years and would slice all of our potatoes for hash-browns and potato chips. It has since broken and my mom and myself have been on the hunt for a new one. I will have to do some looking.
Laci totally enjoyed antiquing with you and also your hair color is soooo flattering. I love it. Can’t wait to see salad maker video hahahhaha you’re the best !!!❤️❤️
Hi lacie, great find, I have been collecting since I was 16 year old n o.oiw I,m 60 and I,m just starting to where a few vintage clothes. I went with my mother this past weekend to some great places in Cape Cod. I saw lot's of poodles, kitties and pyrex. I am also a sucker for linens and ephemera. I was hoping you would by the vintage cards. You got some great stuff. Nice video!
Laci - Hello friend. I hope you are having a wonderful day. That was so much fun antiquing with you today. My brother and I are going out later today to do the same. I'm curious, do you vacuum and clean your house in dresses and high heels?
I know this sounds creepy but I think I saw you at cracker barrell I wanted to say hello but was a Lil star struck.
I'm really glad to have found someone else that talks to their cats the way I do. My Jimmy Feline is my right-hand man.
Haha yes! Cats are the best.
I do this too 💁🏼♀️
Same here, haha!
I talk to my dog Norman like that too
I love how the cats just took turns sharing the spotlight. 😉
I just love you You're such a sweetheart. I think I speak for all of your fans we enjoy seeing your beautiful smile and happy disposition and enjoy your videos very much thanks for sharing your life with us big hugs from Wyoming
Absolutely agree! Whst a lovely lady!
The Tikis remind me of that Brady Bunch Episode in Hawaii 😆😂😂😂
Exactly what I thought of too!
I can tell that you have a beautiful soul. I look forward to watching your videos so much. Keep them coming. Have a blessed day🥰
Thanks so much! I’m glad you enjoy them 😊
So fun and I saw so many wonderful things. I really liked the little yellow glass cat candy dish.
I had so much fun virtually shopping with you & your mom. It’s been kind of a blah couple of days here, so this was a nice escape from my own world into yours! ☺️
Love how you discipline yourself to only purchase at a good price. I budget an amount, then spend double😕
I try to stick to my budget. Sometimes I do end up splurging!
I was raised up in the 1950s and 60s when I watch your videos it takes me back to that time period.I like it that you are your own person and you dress the way you want to.
Those pastel dishes in the second store made my heart happy! I’ve been searching for pastel dishes for over a year
28:06 I love how Johnny Cash turned his eyes to look at the camera right after you told him you love him. I had to watch that at least five times 😂
I love the gleam in your eye when you talk about hunting for antique treasures!
Those vintage cards & tiki salt/paper shakers are awesome! Thanks for taking us with you on your antique shopping adventures!

You’re the best. In a time where there’s not much to smile about, you make us smile, and feel like there’s hope.
Love seeing your cats. I have 4 siblings that I adopted. They are 2 years old now and such a joy. Great show

You and your videos are a comfort and a guilty pleasure.
We have a few huge antique malls in Oklahoma City. I literally could spend a WEEK in each of them and not see everything!
Oh that sounds amazing!
I am taking a trip next week and stopping in Oklahoma City. What are the names of the stores and what would you recommend? I'm really into vintage stuff and this sounds super fun so anything you have to tell me would be appreciated!
Still chuckling over the interesting shape of the salad contraption....love the facial expressions 😇
I love seeing your beautiful babies! And you look so beautiful today!! 😻❤🤗
Oh my gosh Laci, I lost it with the salad gadget. That was priceless!

Lots of fun. Finally got your current video. Love these . I grew up in the 50s!
You found some great goodies...really liked the lady head and the slip.
I loved all the poodles! It was fun to see your ginger tipped kitty!

Ah yes, the desert rose dish set! Those were my Grandma Betty’s dishes of choice, and every time I see them in a shop or at a flea market, I think of her.
Loved the Asian figurines from the first shop and the dish set by the paint by number in the last shop.
Love this video! Always fun seeing new antique malls! AND, discovering, what others buy!
I wish we had more antique stores near me. We have some but they're pretty far out there. I might have to just give in and go to them. I would have loved to dig through those $1 cookbooks. Beautiful brouches and good luck with the 🥗 saladmaker! 😅❤ The ‘peaches&cream’ cat 🐈 is also very sweet.
Thank you for taking us along with you at the antique stores! It was fun!! Please do it again but to thrift stores this time. I love to see what people find while "treasure hunting." Loved everything you picked up at the antique mall. Have a beautiful day :)
I love those vintage cards!. I often frame them :)
How much were the bowls like the ones you use? The Pyrex. I have a set of pink ones.
Pink pyrex is really pricey nowadays!
I love that you found that slicer! My mom had one that we used for years and would slice all of our potatoes for hash-browns and potato chips. It has since broken and my mom and myself have been on the hunt for a new one. I will have to do some looking.
You and your cats are adorable.
That blue glass cake stand in the 3rd one was beautiful- at the beginning - you had a Fun Day 💛
I've been on the hunt for one of those lady head ceramics!😍😍😍
beautiful cat
He’s a babe for sure!
I enjoyed this video so much 🥰. Please do more. Love seeing all the vintage items ❤️❤️❤️
I have the set of Desert Rose dishes in my China cabinet ! I love all the treasures you found!
Your hair looks so pretty today! Pretty color.
Those orange coffee mugs at 17:10!! We had the brown and olive green ones when I was a kid.
My parents had the orange ones, too!
I love that salad maker I remember my grandma having one when I was very young.
I want to look at the records of the second antique mall! That antique 📺 Cabinet !!
Totally wanted those pink depression glass ice buckets! Loved the video and your salt and pepper shakers!
The Meat cookbook! As soon as you said 1940, I instantly thought “organ meats, baby” :) and yep!
My Great Grandmother had the Strawberry cake plate 15:54. My Grandmother has it now, she's 82yrs old. It's still in perfect condition.
Laci totally enjoyed antiquing with you and also your hair color is soooo flattering. I love it. Can’t wait to see salad maker video hahahhaha you’re the best !!!❤️❤️

Our mom had a salt and pepper shaker collection and I'm a bit of a collector myself. They are a small item to collect and the variety is endless. So much fun. Hello to the kitties. Your kitties are sooo cute 😺😺😺
Loving your shopping video’s, they are so therapeutic and relaxing to watch. X
So much fun for you 🙂. I wish we had more antique stores here. We have only one and it’s very expensive French antiques mainly. Nice to see you again sweetie 💗🌸

Great deal on you head vase. I have two and they are my prized piece. Thanks for the fun video 🥰
Laci, my mother had that salad maker back in the early 1960's I used to love to turn the crank and grind veggies up in it. Most anything that states "Made in Japan" is certainly mid century. The U.S. industrialized Japan after the war, and tons of small items were exported to the U.S. during the 50's and 60's. By the 1970's high quality electronics and camera/video equipment also came from Japan. And by the 1980's high quality cars were coming from Japan as well. Love your channel!
Johnny Cash is gorgeous!!
