Maybe I was a mean kid, but I didn't care about watching other people open gifts at like Christmas and Birthdays, but now, as an adult, I watch unboxings, especially ones like this, and my heart just soars; you are so excited and surprised and just genuinely grateful and it's so wholesome and beautiful to see.
I’m so touched by all of these gifts. I really am. My eyes were tearing up with the 2 silk dresses that belonged to someone’s mother. I loved everything.

I discovered you in March of last year during quarantine and have loved every one of your videos. I don’t comment much but I am in the background always watching, always smiling and crying with you when your Grandma died (I lost my Grandpop to Alzheimer’s also) and when Johnny Cash disappeared and cry tears of joy when he was found. The yellow pitcher and glasses was a wedding gift in 1973. Only my glasses were in a rainbow of colors and my pitcher was blue. Still have it.

I have a subscription to the Reminisce magazine and really enjoy it. Also, my mom used to have one of those mink stoles in the 50's and my sister and I used to chase each other with it. the dresses are wonderful and love the Pyrex bowls!

I have one of the Can-o-Mats and they are great. I wish mine swung around like yours though. I got so tired of electric can openers and other can openers that never worked. They work great as long as you keep them clean. Your presents are amazing! It's better then Christmas!
I am so happy you got the flower. It is very finicky when putting the petals into the base. I would suggest hot glue to keep it in place. Normally there would be a spike that you put it on so it twirls in the wind
I think I screamed a little when that mink came out of that package lol

Laci, found your channel. I've been collecting fifties stuff for twenty years. I enjoy seeing all the treasures. It reminds me of my epic thrift hauls. Around here people are so quick to give away their loved ones stuff to thrift stores. I have my mom's old midcentury China cupboard full of treasures. Mostly cats and pixies. I adopted Holt Howard kitties over the summer. Watching your channel makes me happy that vintage is still getting appreciated. Johnny Cash is such a sweetie.

I have that small blue and white Pyrex casserole dish. It also came with a glass top to go in the oven.
I love the colors of those silk dresses also, always my favorites even when it's not fall. I lean toward the warm golds and greens in almost every room. (I was thrilled to find a light rust colored jacket the other day for $4 at a thrift store, made my day). What wonderful gifts - looks like Christmas at your place, lol.
