Just a heads up, next time you do something like that you should blow the holes out with the air compressor. That powder can make the anchor not stick as well. I’ve done a ton of concrete and that’s a huge no-no, to be honest. I would’ve also used some concrete anchor epoxy as well.

U guys have needed that 2nd lift for a while... glad you got it. You could get a couple of those pop-up garages with zip up doors for when the cars are outside, and you can move them inside when bad weather & the hurricanes blow through. Really good heavy-duty ones will run you 3-4 hundred bucks each. Love the poolside NSX idea! Put a HP stereo in her for the pool party's!
If you buy 2 shipping containers. You can build a shoppingcontainer garage. Put 3 cars in the middel. With a roof and garagedoors and use the shipping containers for storage.

Pool side NSX made it to the poolside just in time for summer and HURRICANE SEASON in Florida!! Lol 😂 Got about a month or two before the storms start ripping through on the regular, so I hope that’s a very temporary spot just in case.
I love my Hilti but the HF Bauer SDS is solid and cheap especially for small jobs like this. Those 3/4" holes for the lift are no sweat. It's only slightly more than the cost of the rental.

Talk to ur landlord about changing the doors on those 2 offices to bi-fold doors so u can use them for car or engine or transmission storage. Then add a set of stairs so u can move whatever u use those offices for upstairs. If it's for heavy items, add an electric winch on the ceiling, and make sure the new 2nd floor can safely hold the weight (boxes of t-shirts get heavy quickly). U have the space juat need to revamp it a little. Where there's a will, there's a way, just like the poolside parking.

Commercial auctions, look for some warehouse shelving, you can shorten the 4' front to back ez, had 5 BB mopars on 1 shelf. Legs all the way to the floor, put shelves above your work area. Just a thought. Ole Guy.

Like I said you can buy some xtra and cut to size. Look at what they use at big box etc.. You won't find a better price. Looks heavy all put together, but each pc. isn't bad. Good luck.
For future reference when drilling for concrete anchors its best to drill your holes all the way through the slab so if you ever decide to move the lift gou can hammer the anchors all the way in to the dirt underneath then fill the holes, if not you are stuck just having to try to cut them off floor level and they can still be somewhat in the way.
@@otm646 you should only use the anchors that come with the lift, they dont come with the epoxy ones for a reason, bendpack doesnt cheap out on the fasteners amd their engineers know better than we do about what works best for this application.
I know its expensive but its better having to move to a bigger shop. Just an idae, how bout extending your workshop! Get rid of the shed, pour another slab and make the existing shop bigger! I hope i can do the trek from oz and meet you guys at a cleet event in the future
The black NSX could be your cool street car to drive to car shows and make really pretty. Full sound system, air bags, etc. You know, a cool driver car.
Whitt needs one of those steering wheels in the corolla that has like perforated leather wrapped around it with like leather or vinyl or whatever piping going along it wrapping around. Would be wery fitting for the car. Ohyeah and wood bead seat covers.
You guys need to get a Toyota Hilux or a Toyota hi ace diff and shorten it with some disc brakes …. The Toyota diff the axles are as big as a 9inch but they fit in the corolla or any other rotary’s better smaller head you don’t have to cut the floor out to fit the diff and they bullet proof like a 9inch .. we are from New Zealand it’s the land of the rota’s … nice semi pp deserves a diff and bigger turbo go borgwarner s400 or s475

You can have all of your cars and/or spare parts in containers. Who knows where they go when to they get off of your video set, but they come back when you need them and they are insured. You could container all of your cars and have each car insured while they are off site and then back when you need that content.

Why wouldn't you mount the new lift closer to the overhead door so you still have room along the back wall for the other cars? Have you seen the rollers you can put under the wheels to move cars around by hand inside to maximize your space?

They both work incredibly hard at what they do. Kyle just does a lot behind the scenes, not like Kyle is sitting in a hammock with a tea watching Wyatt wrench, they're both working hard and still produce great content!
If it’s not going against any city or county codes, just extend your shop. Take the wall down closest to your first lift, and take it all the way over to the rv parking. It’d be a hell of a lot cheaper to pour a pad and have that built than buying land and doing it all over again. Put the carport in the driveway under the tree, or sell it 🤷♂️

Battery tenders are cheap and do exist. It’s better to keep a battery at correct level than to let it die consistently. Especially for cars you like

Today at 4pm on interstate 79 in Pennsylvania i saw a black first gen NSX heading south at mile marker 92. To had i was heading north.

You should only ever be using adhesive anchors on a lift like this. You cut those off. No pounding them anywhere.

I’d pour some footings for the lift posts. The slab concrete is probably only 2,500-3,000 psi and unreinforced.

I don't remember what you have next to the shop, but it is super easy and cost effective to extend that building off the gable end.
Should put the two post lifts closer to the door and get 2 car stacker lifts for the back wall.
