Tests were done and the Tesla is actually slightly quicker to 60 mph at half charge compared to full, where it loses performance when on low battery is top end acceleration, at 50% compared to 98% state of charge the Tesla is 40ms faster to 60 mph, but 170ms and 4 mph slower to the 1/4 mile. So it kinda is a battery hack, if you know you're racing at speeds under 80 to 90 mph or so like here, don't go too far beyond 50 to maybe 65% SoC, that way the battery has higher momentary discharge C, thus quicker acceleration. Of course, that only works in short races since it loses half its range, which would get pummeled due to frequent maximal acceleration and braking beyond the regenerative capacity.

that double apex type line on the last turn was dope kyle!
First turn with cleet instantly knew what he was making magic 🔥 run on his part
Takes a porsche to beat a mini van... boostedboiz built mini van 😈
That boomerang corner against Cletus on the second race was awesome
The very last lap he came in like a maniac and it nearly worked😅
That last race was amazing, great line and good driving by both you and Cleet!
*No matter how shitty my days are I always love watching the boiz on my lunch break. Makes my day* 🤟🏻
You should race the minivan against your gym trainers dump truck!! Guaranteed she kicks your ass
That was a sweet line last corner going wide then using a "longer straight" two thumbs up!
Cleet coming through laying on the horn was golden. At this point i think its safe to say cleetus and kyle are siblings with the way they mess with each other
My dad had a Honda odyssey, I love that car!
That was some awesome racing. So close. At least you got some body work done on the rear guard.
Love how there's more smoke coming out of the EV than any of the ICE vehicles.
When Cleetus makes it to the finals of spectator drags its like the final boss battle of a video game!
6:45 self clearancening 😅
Thanks so much for all of the content! its been awesome
As much as i love the scream of the engines in other cars on the channel, nothing gets me laughing like the absurdity of this thing accelerating 😂😂
Loving ALL the content man, keep doing you, apologize for nothing!
Gave the traction coffee podcast a listen today, that was great! I leaned some stuff and was super entertained!
I don't mind the electric car now that it has a van body. Looks way better than it did before haha
Lol! This is amazing.
All it needs is children screaming in terror as it drives by...
A long distance ev trip to colorado would be EPIC ..!!!! And yes yes yes to the prelude..!.!.!
I think you need some track time with the van. Cleetus has a huge advantage making thousands of laps there.
