I know this is video has been out for a while now, but could you do a video on how to to swap a meme coin to stable coin using a specific chain. There are so many different ones. For example, a Solana based coin. Do you have to use the (SOL) usdc/t or can it go directly to regular usdc or usdt?
Question: would a simple swap from a crypto to stablecoin, and back, be a simple way to trade without transferring coins to an exchange? Are there any limits on the wallet or anything else that might affect doing some simple trading in and out of a stablecoin?
Hi Cryptodad, Is Tangem your main hardware wallet now? I just bought Tangem and am undecided if I should split my crypto between Tangem and my ledger. what's your opinion.
Thank you very much, tangem is great. I have one question wich chain would you prefer to swap bitcoin for tether. I mean on wich chain to swap to? Or is this a stupid question, thx
I love watching your videos and have learned a lot from you. I am not able to move Optimism (OP) from my Tangem wallet - just don't understand it.. It would be great if you could do a video on OP. Thanks for what you do to help others.
Last week I traded some Solana for some arcblock on coin base. I was going to move it from coin base to the tangem. I was doing a test with 10 dollars and it said the fee was going to be over 4 dollars. I didn't do it. It's still on coin base. How can I move it somewhere safely without losing half to fees? Thanks Rex
Well, unfortunately, archblock is an erc 20 token on the Ethereum blockchain. So you're going to get hit with the Ethereum blockchain fees no matter which direction you go. So of course, trying to withdraw it from Coinbase is going to hit you with a high transfer fee. But even if you were to convert it back to Solana and then send it over to Tangem, trying to do a cross chain swap within Tangem is also going to hit you with fees from Change now. Kinda hard to avoid those Ethereum blockchain fees. The only thing I could suggest is to try to mitigate the fees by doing your withdraw from Coinbase during off peak hours, like late at night or early in the morning. You might check during those times and see if the fee is lower.
Is there enough liquidity for swapping on tangem? If there is not enough liquidity or bid/ask spread is wide, the users end up getting unfavorable outcome. I heard story of people trading millions of $ worth crypto for another crypto and ended up getting hundreds of $ worth of another crypto in return.
Hi, I noticed some coins like turbo don't have an option, for selling or swapping in the tangem wallet. The buttons are there but they aren't highlighted. Same with kaspa. Do you know why ? Do you think they will have it available eventually? Mike
I don't specifically know why, but my assumption is that it just has to do with the available trading pairs on the exchanges that they're currently working with. It might also have to do with regulatory requirements that those exchanges have to follow. I'm sure Tangem is trying to enable as many trading pairs as they can. But I have no specific information about when certain trading pairs will be available or not.
Hello, i wanted to ask if its possible to make a video on how to move your deadalus wallet to another drive when the default c-drive doesnt have any space anymore.Thank You
Trying to figure out how to use this wallet with a trust and providing them custody but maintaining control and authority over them using it? Like multi sig?
How can I add another tangem wallet to the app? I want to get the tangem that provides the seedphrase option. I currently have the seedless option. Not too happy with that. Something can happen to the app
Why can I do some cross chain swaps, but sometimes I can't swap within the same chain?... If I want to swap my Based BRETT for Bitcoin, Bonk or USDT, it will let me. If I want to go the other way, it won't let me. The "Based BRETT" will be grayed out. It's very frustrating. I can't swap anything for BRETT, yet I can swap several things FROM BRETT. I have the same problem for other coins. It's just random how they grey out certain coins, meaning you can't swap for them.
If you're using any of the various tax-related software packages the Tangem wallets will most likely need to be treated as public addresses. In other words, for each account in your Tangem app, you would use the receiving address in your tax software. It usually goes something like 1. add new wallet and then 2. choose public address and then 3. put in the receiving address of the corresponding Tangem account.
Is it possible for me to move all of my crypto that is on my Ledger Nano to the Tangem? If so, how would I do that? I don't like how difficult the Ledger is to use and the Tangem looks like a great alternative! Thanks for your informative videos!
Ha. Ledger Hard????? Sounds to me like you are fairly new to the space and have used very few devices. Ledger was always BY FAR the easiest wallet to use compared to all other wallets but when Ledger screwed up (TWICE) people were forced to look for more secure devices out of NECESSITY. If I still trusted Ledger.....I would still use them simply because they were EASY compared to everything else. All wallets have Pros and Cons. It's a matter of what you are most willing to accept ....ease of use or SECURITY. Personally, I prefer security.
@@CanesFan65 Ledger is the only one I have used so I don’t have anything to compare it to. From what I’ve read about the Tangem, it is very secure and easy to use.
Hi could anyone tell me if I can combine a coin on the tangem wallet. I transferred the same coin using different exchanges and it’s now showing the same coin twice. Can I move them together so I only have one balance? Thanks for any advice
Why is the Tangem card only required for certain transactions? I see I need the card to do swaps and to add certain tokens to the Tangem wallet. But transfers in and out do not seem to require the card.
Well, it definitely should be asking you for the card when you're trying to transfer out. That's the main function of the card. But you're correct, you don't need the card when you're moving Crypto into the wallet. All you need is the receiving address.
What’s up with these rent fees, reserve fees and existential deposit for some of the networks? Like solana, Xrp and polkadot to store my cryptos? Others cold wallets don’t have these charges why is Tangem doing this? It’s turning me off smh
Tangem's discord told me its not them. Its actually the Solana chain that does this. If you keep the minimum they won't charge & if you don't they close it as inactive. Need the SOL as gas fees anyway when the time comes to swap to stable.
Just about, but I think it depends on the chain. So you could enable USDC on multiple chains, such as Ethereum, Binance Smart chain, Solana, etc. And I'm sure you'll find that just about any of the main cryptocurrencies can convert to one of these forms of USDC.
It has the highest fees! we know its for miners but mempool shows less then half of what tangem shows as low fees?? is that why its being pumped by all u tubers
@@leonrman1244 Why I threw all my Tangem Wallets in the fire. Question: Do you really trust your coins with Tangem wallets? 0.13 matic = 0.11cent for fee. imagine if matic at 20$ per coin you would have to pay 2.22$. if matic price 200$, you gonna have to pay 22$ for fee. no thank you
Too many steps. Every transfer and every swap costs more funds and loss of coins and fees. This needs to be streamlined better … not just in Tangem but with all crypto blockchains and wallets. I want to buy specific coins and it takes a damn engineering degree just to figure out the way to get a coin and after hours of research, every wallet and service I have don’t support any of the transactions I want to do. This is a pain and chokepoint in the industry. Fees on buying and selling as well as swaps have to come down or mass adoption will not happen.
