kevc21: that would be okay if women didn't mind sharing, but they demand for free for what men EARNED, as if she's never going to lose her looks; so you get a ten women demanding marriage with every one top man, giving him "free samples" until you have nine single mothers for every married one. Leaving the OTHER nine MEN to clean up the mess. JUST SAY NO!!!

The worst thing about dating a single mom for me was trying to be a dad to her kids and becoming very fond of them then when you break up you lose them and one day you're downtown and you bump into her and the kids and her new man who they now look at as their new father and you realize you never were their father, never will be and it was a mistake to try playing that role. Better to keep your distance.

Been there, done that! Even more stunning is the fact that the woman couldn't care less that not only have you been ripped from their lives, but they often have established a bond with you and they've been ripped from yours! Child's best interests are often LAST. If a divorced woman with children encourages a good relationship with the divorced father it is a good sign that she puts her kids' best interests first, even if she doesn't like their father.

This is 100% true. I did everything for my step daughter, took her to soccer practice, swimming lessons, doctor appointments, cook for her, took her to the movies, horse back riding lessons, and everything was okay up until the girl turned 16. When she began going wild, there was no way she would listen to me and her mom didn't support me trying to set limits. For the past 5 years it's been hell. Women are good at manipulation, before they did not vote, now they are the dominant voters. Politicians to get into power must target the largest demographic group which is women. Hence there are bias custody, support, employment and healthcare laws.

you will find as said below that the women make that choice( and in turn remove the children from their fathers lives with the support of the family courts).

I got entwined with a single mom of three kids about a year after my last kid left the house (I had full custody). She was beautiful , loved me like crazy, etc, etc. Long story short: she moved out of her cramped tiny apartment and into my large home and I ended up paying about 50% of her and her kid’s living expenses. I had no authority while she doted on her two girls while being overly harsh on her son. About a year later I tried to talk to her about how I thought she was being unfair to her son while refusing to hold her girl’s accountable for their behavior. She basically told me I had no say in the matter. Soo, I said okay you’re out! She moved out a few weeks later and I’ve never looked back nor entertained the idea of dating anyone with kids...other than the occasional hookup.

    Married twice.
First time, wife was upset one day when I was not at home when she thought I should be with her. She packed my belongings and placed them outside. She later apologized and we reconciled with one strong condition. If her answer to a disagreement was to put my belongings outside, it would be the last time. Four yours later, she broke my trust. When she decided that instead of apologizing, she would pack my things up and put them in the living room, that was good enough for me. She eventually apologized, but I told her to chalk it up for her next relationship. Second marriage, my wife of 7 years thought the grass was greener on the other side. When she realized it was only artificial turf, I was already gone. I loved both with only 3 rules. 1. Know who you are, 2 Don't sabotage our marriage, 3 Don't mistake my cherishing you as my wife as something some one else can do for you. When you are a man, expect to be with a woman. If you choose to be with a girl, expect her to act accordingly.

Seeing as you are a marriage veteran, can I get your advice on my current position?
My former fiancee did that to me too. The final dtraw was when she dropped my stuff off at my job. That embarrassment of my boss coming to me and telling me to put my stuff in my car killed me. I didn't care that the invitations were already mailed out, my family hated her anyways, and instead of celebrating our marriage on our wedding day, my family, friends and I celebrated my breakup.
Now I've been married for 8 years to a champ. She likes to cook and clean, she's a kindergarten teacher who loves kids, and she keeps me in check, by which I mean she reminds me at times why I'm the man she married just incase I ever forget my purpose in life. Sadly though, we don't have kids yet because she has a condition that's preventing her from getting pregnant. Although the good news is she's slowly getting better.
What made me trust her the most was when we had that discussion of possibly not having kids, she responded that as long as she had me, she didn't care, even if we did In Vitro Fertilization with another woman's eggs, because she "would only see me in them". Sadly however, because of my last relationship, I can't tell if she has some ulterior motives or I should just enjoy the ride with her? I'm choosing the latter right now and I'm at a point where I'm thinking it's safe to assume that she's genuine and I can put my guard down around her more and let her get that much closer to me.
      What do you think?

      @ShamblesMD 4 ปีที่แล้ว +4

@@burmiester1 Yeah that's probably going to be the plan for at least the foreseeable future. Sometimes shd just seems to be too good to be true. Now she does have her flaws and somewhat of a troubled childhood (Mom abandoned her, leaving her with her dad, 2 little sisters andbaby brother), although she doesn't see it that way because it brought her and her siblings closer together. Also, we are exact opposites of each other, but we have the same ideals. She can get on my nerves a lot, but I blame that on her parents, because her dad's no prize either; choosing his new wife and her daughter over them. This messed up her siblings, but not her. It was like subconsciously that she understood the nature of humans at a young age.
Either way, thanks for the input. I honestly like getting outside advice incase I ever put on rose colored glasses without knowing it. I made that mistake before and it felt like I wasted 6 years of my life.

Dated two. One was nuts, one was nice. Done with that now. Points #1, #3 and #4 I did not experience but point #2 is soooo true. Responsibility without authority is absolutely correct. Very well said. You get to a point where you naturally want to start bringing the authority you have in the relationship to the children but have to pull back because they are somebody else's kids. It becomes awkward because by having that natural fatherly role diminished ,it starts to erode you as a man in her eyes as you do not assert your male authority.
I'd add a point number 6 too. If you're a decent guy you will begin to bond with the children. If things go south in the relationship you will not only lose your gf but also a proto-family. Bad for you, bad for the kids.

Every one of the women expected all the support of their kids, but when they trashed my place or were disrespectful, it was always, "No, these are my kids." No way in HELL will I ever even date a woman with kids, much less marry one. I don't care how good her kids are or how good a head she has on her shoulders. It never turns out well. Dating a single mother is like picking up someone else's half-finished beer in a bar then drinking it only to find out the beer was off anyway. As for marriage, there's only a few reasons any man does this today: lack of ambition and/or the erroneous belief such a commitment is a two way street, frequently coupled with a scarcity mindset (i.e. she'll marry another poor schmuck if I don't step up).

You truly do not matter to single moms. And the women wait at the finish line couldn’t be further from the truth.
I was in an off an on relationship with a single mom for 5 years. Talk about dignity. When marriage was proposed it was always a point of contention. Loved her daughter as my own, took care of them sacrificed for them. Yet after all this time the mom wanted the child’s dad to be more of a “dad” to her daughter. Even though I was the one spending time the most time with her. Taking them on trips building memories and being their. You are not a priority, you’re an accessory. Remember that. This guy’s boundaries are a huge tip. Take his advice. You aren’t going to loose.
Build yourself know your worth always remember you are the prize.

And guess what, she eventually deemed me as the villain in her life and saw me as the source of her unhappiness. But the reality is, she was never happy by herself in the first place. Don’t ever get involved with people with this victim mind set, they will blame everything ok you

Had a single mom of three kids reach out and want to date. I asked if she had kids and she said yes. I then said politely I would not be a good candidate. She said she liked single guys with no kids. I told her I understand that and I feel the same way. Talk about quiet, chirp chirp.

100% true. I was married to a single mother. She would fantasize about eventually changing their last name to my name, loved when I got them things, etc etc. But when it came to real issues and discipline, I was a "bad father". Her words. She ended up having an affair and left. Tried to weaponize her thousands in divorce trial fees from her ex against me, the whole nine yards.

I'm just discovering this channel. I love the content. You're bald, fit, and my age. If I had a brother he might be like you.
I dated a single mom. I had a child with her and I married her. I work and she takes care of the kids. We both parent but she puts in more work. We have our disagreements everyday but we work on our relationship. I'm 48 she's 34. I feel at these ages we have more maturity than if I was in my 20s or 30s.
I recognize and can relate to much of what you said. I'm glad I did not see your videos when I began dating my wife. Those times were drama filled and your videos might biased me. Your points are valid and there are exceptions. Because like all relationships, whether single mom or not, it requires maturity, time, and effort.
I'm a subscriber. Keep up the great work.

Nonetheless, exceptions validate the general rule. I am really happy that it worked out for you, but there are a lot of young men like me around that would probably get trapped by single-mothers. The advice in this video is something every man should follow, if he doesn‘t want to be used.

If wanted to improve society significantly in less than a couple of months get feminism out of family court. Give dads custody. Problem is women crazy karens and would be huge problems for society (more reason they shouldn't keep the kids). Also if know they arent getting the kids they wouldn't be such turd wives cause know they get everything if he doesn't put up with all her crap. Also I hate seeing teen sons with mothers at the mall on a Saturday morning. Kid should be on a sports feild somewhere doing battle.also if si gle mother Karen raised as a teen boy, fill week nights and weekends with partime work till have enough to move out. If have a nephew in this situation get him a forklift ticket course or something (phlebotomy course?) for his birthday so doesn't have to rely on minimum wage. Get a trade apprenticeship asap, fk woke high school. Go to night school while do it. If start apprenticeship at 15 ur full qualified by 19 and on $100k if pick the right trade. Pay off a house by 25. Don't tell the women or get loved bombed and the house is hers thanks to stabbing condoms and the cycle continues. At least u have a trade at that point. I did engineering briefly at university and there was a few electricians, welders amd mechanics in my course.

Before I was RED PILLED, I married a single Mom who lost custody of her kids! It's a long story. I did not realize what a lucky break that was! They would come and visit, 3 of them, and my pantry was EMPTIED that day! lol This was a subconscious preview and I never got caught in a bad situation dating. Now that I am 57 I have dispensed with dating.... need to focus on retirement options and pursuing personal passions. When the need become massive, I find a gorgeous rental, well worth the time and money.
