@Jestnarr They can if Nurgle stops cutting off their nerve reception.....or if they get cut off from the warp altogether.... Three of them got trapped on a planet (I think Macraug) after the rest of their forces were pushed back into the warp. When the gate/portal shut, they were in AGONY until ultramarines finished them.
One of the best episodes. Especially since it completely does away with the whole "Nurgle is the only good Chaos God" delusion some people have. He doesn't care about life, or any of his followers, no more than Tzeentch or Slaanesh do. He and his Daemons are sadistic eldritch horrors that will cast aside and sacrifice those who worship them loyally. Morior got Chaos Spawn'ed because he didn't meet his "quota", and Septus got sacrificed shortly after being "upgraded" by Ephisis, while the familiar Nex (basically acting as Nurgle's representative) laughs scornfully. So much of "Grandpa Nurgle's kindness".
I'm a diehard Nurgle fan so take everything with all the salt. But in Nurgles very twisted and diseased mind (pun intended) that is still love. Hard love to be sure but his gifts no matter how much suffering they cause are still beautiful in his eyes.

The Battleship that gets destroyed at 10:28 is a Retribution class, it specialises in brawling with three batteries of Heavy Plasma Macro batteries on its broadsides, 8 torpedo launchers in the bow and long range Lance turrets along it's Spine. Sporting more crew to counter boarders along with more Damage Control, this allows it to take an immense beating at close range. Notably you can see three Gothic class cruisers, armed with one hangar section and a macro battery on it's broadsides, but it's most notable weapon is the bow mounted Nova Cannon. It being a giant mass-driver that uses arcane technology to fling a shell at immense speeds making it hit within seconds of being fired, then proceeding to detonate like a small sun going super nova.

Great video but kinda silly. If 1 nurgle sorcerer could make an entire imperial fleet decay away and make a timeless plague. The imperium would've been destroyed long ago.
A timeless plague? This is preposterous. It didn't exist before he casted it, so it had a beginning. And since even Nurgle, since even a god can be defeated, so can that "timeless" plague be defeated.
Yes, but it makes sense if you don't take it as the Voice of God spitting absolute facts, but an insane sorcerer grandstanding over his fellow Chaos Marines in an attempt to flaunt his power and favour with the Grandfather - lest they get the idea to coup him the way he did the former leader. As for him corrupting the entire fleet... Yeah, it's kind of ridiculous. But with a corrupted choir of seven astropaths and an entire world sacrificed to Nurgle? I could see it work. It could even destroy the ships before he finished the working, the Warp is fucky-wucky like that. Effect preceding cause is not at all unheard of. My one complaint is that we don't see enough _work_ to justify that outcome. He's not spreading the plagues across the world, inducing cults, performing rituals, no time or effort put into it.... Just hand-wave away an entire task force and the corruption of a whole world. Especially with the Scions guarding the astropaths - that's super-weird, in terms of established lore. They should have given the astropaths the Emperor's Mercy the moment the Deathguard broke through the outer defences, _precisely_ because of what he used them to do.
Khorne is actually the easiest one to answer, since Khorne tends to be the one to raid ships when the Gellar Field drops. Good episode except for the massive imperial fleet literally disintegrating within moments and not a true shot fired. Nurgle does not work fast so I thought that was a HUGE weak point in the episode. I could accept the fleet slowly decaying and turning to "chaos" as they gradually come closer, but the instant vaporization of every ship at once?? Come on....
I think the show was trying to show that because in the past (aka the future) the curse that was going to happen was spread at a crazy rate because those ships have and always been consumed by the plague. It just wasn’t time yet. It is just weird time stuff that can be used as a thing saying, “it happened once at some point and therefore now always will and has happened”.
Yeah, that wasn't your typical nurgle invasion. There was some weird time/warp f*ckery going on, sending astropathically transmitted diseases back in time.
Still, geller fields are a thing. That was some plot nonsense. Why can't they just go fuck up space marine chapters with this? Guilliman would have lost the plauge war in a day. The emperor protects, what a joke.

Well the forces of Chaos are not the only ones able to meddle with the Warp. The Eldar are very good at seeing the future, and often try to interfere with Chaos when they can. The Imperium are not as good as the Eldar, but they do have a few tricks. Firstly, the Imperium also has ways to see the future and try and prevent or at least prepare for things that are to come. Secondly, there’s a specialist force of Space Marines called the Grey Knights who are all psykers and are specifically designed to counter Chaotic tricks like this. They also have ways to see the future and are probably more resilient to plagues than your average human. Finally, the Emperor is also a god, and is opposed to Chaos. In several books the Emperor has performed miracles to counter chaos. For example, in the Dark Imperium trilogy, there’s a priest called Frater Mathieu who fights alongside Guilliman. He’s just a normal guy who is fighting on a planet infected by Nurgle. He meets up with Guilliman some Custodes and Guilliman comments that he should get a helmet on because even the genetically modified Custodes and Space Marines are afraid of getting sick. He just responds by saying that he’s been fighting all day and he feels fine. Ultimately, most Chaos warbands aren’t going to be able to pull off what happened here, this sorcerer is clearly very special, but the Imperium does have a few ways in which it can respond.

That speech this dude give about plague and decay in the forest, it missed so much. There is no decay and plague in the forest, there is new life and birth. Also fire represents rebirth, start of an new, end of old. Literally everything nurgle stands and upholds very strongly...
Ok, they made a good one and it’s of my faction of choice. Nice.
Love this intro,
as a pyromancer!
Nex"remember...my grandfather is generous..but cross and fail him...and you will pay for it..hee hee hee hahahahah"!
Bro the channel Flashgitz made an animated cartoon parody of the Warhammer universe named: Space King , you should really react to it
This one was crazy, great job bro.
Wasnt this an OG Grey Knight that set the Garden of Nurgle on Fire ? I mean a really bad ahh Double OG Grey Knight
4.39 was amazing 👏
the garden was oddly beautiful
I still love this episode so much.❤
Have you done a video about how dune could fit into the 40k universe?
No but I will
Here from Huntsville Alabama...
Heya, just to let you know.
The Discord link is invalid. I wanted to join, but am unable to.
It maybe an idea to make a permanent link to the Discord
We’ll fix it
@Counterpoints
Good good. Just wanting to make sure you knew about it.
May I be informed of when this is sorted? I do wish to join the server
@@Welsh_Works try this one discord.gg/hSw6GzgS
@Counterpoints
It has worked.
It maybe a good idea to set the invites expirey time to Never
@@Counterpoints
Understood. It will be for the best in the future
What's the intro from, I want to watch that! >XD
McCready would definitely struggle with this one
I can almost imagine what this episode looked like😂😂
Can't really say I'm a fan of time travel in mvoies and games because somethint always happens that cintradicts something else or has plot holes.
No one traveled in time. This is like receiving a message about an event that just took place while traveling at faster than light speed, and sending back a response: your response would reach the sender before the event that caused them to send you the message even occurred.
@@exterminans it named time travel
I always thought plague marines are always joyful disease spreaders but this revealed to me that they sometimes get pissy with each other!
It was more like Tzeentch things than Nurgle thing for me this one.
This is my favorite Hammer and Bolter episode, but it's one that I can't find to pirate lol.
How many videos were NOT taken down by GW?
Damn Nurgle that day woke up and chose mayem. A little to unfair the entire rusting of an entire sector fleet though
Chaos spawn is the rétribution for fail mission
Did you edit this too?
@@zeem2524 yes. Copyright.
The videos are great, even though GW has made you gut most of these episodes. A small suggestion, maybe shrink the camera bubble by half? Some of these videos are cut off from detail cause of the large bubble.
I always knew they were gonna show the Dark God's way of life in this series. But I was rather hoping they'd do an episode around Slaanesh.
Kinda of wished they had Typhus instead of the sorcerer.
Same, what an a hole
Did roboute guilliman do that when he was fighting morti
where is do you find a warhammer animation?
@@NerdyGothgirl Warhammer tv
So basically what the Night Lords did, but with Astropaths instead of a Navigator
Random idea, a warband of plague marines that felt rejected by granfarher nurgle turn against their patron god and start working for another. These seek strength and wisdom provided by tzeentch snd khorne. Instead of directly worshiping both they take influence from each via their leader who is gifted (my brains lagging a bit. Cant english right)
Excuse me, why was Artefacts deleted?
Games Workshop took it down for copyright. It’s appealed right now. Should be back up in the next two weeks
@@Counterpoints
Man, they copyrights are just so... overly strict
@@reiarjaeylaxa5857 I put in my reply I think they should be focusing on new content instead of harassing me for these clearly legal breakdowns.
A reminder for those who makes more mistakes, will be a lesson. Papa Nurgle loves his Sons and his compatriots but does not mean it didn't punish his sons for their mistakes.
The discord doesnt work lol

@@Counterpoints Thank you!
I need to paint a great unclean one
Clearly inspired by the Shoggoth from the the Mythos of Robert E Howard and HP Lovecraft. :) I love it
On the tabletop that sorcerer would have been dead instantly against a lord and three deathshrous.
The astropath is 7 people, guess nurgle favorite number
6.5
Glory to The grandfather!
Nurgle's love shields us!! As a Nurgle and Death Guard fan, this episode hit me in the right, puss filled spots ✨.
