What I love is Trazyn is literally the Warhammer player outside of the tabletop. He collects figures and poses entire battle scenes in separated boxes just like we all do with minis on the shelf.
His very quotes point to it: "Eternity also requires what you would call, entertainment." "I collect them: Objects, Lifeforms...moments." "Sometimes you reach this moment first sometimes others do, Each instance is different in countless beautiful details."
Gotta love the banter between those two Terminators and especially the sass of the one with Lighting Claws. There’s still a sense of camaraderie between Chaos Space Marines, it seems.
It's also kinda funny to notice that they still think of alien races like the Necrons as Xenos even though they are anti-Imperium. It makes a distinction between the factions.
Truuu, and tbh, even when he’s not in control he isn’t as much of a child about it as other Necrons. Sure he may get annoyed but if he’s really bothered he’ll just come back to try again. No coolant of his chassis. Other Necrons throw tantrums like the trust-fund babies they tend to be.
“I am not your jailer, my wonderful relic of mortal pride. You are your own prisoners.” As I said on the old video. This has got to be the biggest flex on chaos ever.
Artefacts remains one of my favorite episodes, partially due to flow (it's over before you even realize it) and partly due to Trazyn's monologue to the warband. The laughter of the Gods is a great touch, too.

Funniest thing is that Trazyn is hamming it up the entire time he’s pleading for his life. Necrons don’t feel pain, nor do they need to breathe, so doing stuff like grabbing his arm in pain and gasping for air are all just him having fun with the entire scenario.
One thing I noticed (which I missed my first time watching this) the cryptek in the start (which is just Trazyn in disguise im pretty sure) straight up has Trazyns staff
stopping time just as your enemy is literal centimeters away from their goal, then resuming time once again so that they can shoot at you before stopping it once more before the bullet even gets an opportunity to hit. thats not even a power move, that is a whole ass power combo. a power dance choreography. then he just resumes time again to let the guy threaten him so he can laugh smugly in his face. also, "i am not your jailer, you are your own prisoner" is such a raw ass line
Trazyn gives me the worst guilt over my pile of shame, he has the biggest collections out of anyone in the universe and they're ALL painted and together, AND alive! Brings us shame 😢 😂
it makes sense when you think about it, in the warp you expect all kinds of unreal things to occur to be the norm. but when youre in the normal mortal realm such as a space hulk thats been abandoned for thousands of years where you expect reality and laws of physics to work, a single light bulb that still functions in an unpowered space hulk would definitely be a mystery worth checking out, hence that chaos terminator had the right question to be asked only he asked it too late
I like the think that the Solitaire is just playing along, doing his play of the great act for thousands of years and with that fooling Trazyn. But when the laughing god requires it, the solitaire will move again and fullfill the last part of his role in another one of Cegorach great jests.

Seeing the chaos Terminators in action was very cool. Some of those xenoes i've seen before in the 40k game Gladius Relics of War. Also if you look closely one of the captives is the Cadian commander Ursarkar E. Creed. Which might suggest, he did not fall with Cadia during the 13th black crusade.
I just realized that the eldar knew they were stuck in the tesseract... I think, one of the female dark eldar said "There is no way out" but I might just be looking into it lol

i've never thought about the fact that everything the necrons do is basically to fulfill some longing they have. i could see that flayers were that way but everyone else being some version of that is something i never thought about. Thanks . i thought it was vanity and not boredom

Because the hulk isn’t in the warp. It’s in real space, where logic is *mostly* stable. Combined with the other abnormalities, Drukhari still alive, Necron phantoms, radar interference, and some level of power still within a wreck atleast a millennium old? One by one it’s odd, but not concerning. All together? Something isn’t right.
Fun fact: Kreld is voiced by Richard Reed, the same guy who did the audiobook for The Infinite and The Divine, another story that features Trazyn as a main character.

Given from its shape being just two bolters slapped together and its slower rate of fire, much older and less efficient than an actual Storm Bolter. These were much more common during the Great Crusade and Horus Heresy but are still used by Chaos Terminators at present.

Which means any of his treasures in stasis like the Clone Primarch could break out unless each are different with different set of rules. With all that being said I wonder if we will ever see a case if someone breaking out
You can tell it was a trap of trazens from the first scene a warriors riffle is powerful enough to vaporize dreadnoughts and the largess of tyranids. Even terminator armor blessed by the Heritic gods can’t stand them. I say again a masterful trap by Trazen. (Death to the enemies of the Imperium)

This episode takes place in the far future of 40K, long after all life has been consumed in the Milky Way by the Tyranids. That is why Trazyn calls the Terminator a "Relic of Mortal Pride", there are no mortals left! Also Trazyn has visited this single exhibit in his planet sized gallery 1000+ times already which would have taken many centuries of time to do atleast.
Is it just me or does anyone else think that the shadow in the background when Trazyn is walking away, just before it zooms out, is it possible thats a primarch clone?
It's really possible that the shadow on Trazyn's front in 19:08 is Fulgrim's clone, as it has a large frame and has a humanoid shape inside a power armor.

They have the choice to not enter the labryinth, but they will never NOT make that choice. If they did so, they would have to return to Abaddon and report their failure, which means a fate worse than death. Thus, they are trapped forever.
I love the 40K animations - but to this day - their TV writers just make weird, bizarre mistakes with Necrons. So much more durable in lore than they are always portrayed; you will never kill one with a single bolt shell. You need to shred them. Slice them. Carve them into pieces and fire more rounds into the incapacitated ones as you pass. Even then they crawl in an attempt to strangle you. The Cryptek reacting as though it’s in ‘pain’ is just ridiculous. They have no need for pain and indeed they do not experience it - they know precisely to what degree they are injured. We see as much in Twice-Dead King & ‘Infinite and Divine.’

It's still a weak point and has been used against terminators many times before I do agree an eye shot shouldn't be fatal, the needle doesn't have that much penetrative power and brain hemorrhage probably wouldn't kill an astartes nor would the toxin. It's possible the guy was only injured but incapacitated
@@lordgod9958 i can get behind the incapacitated theory as a Drukhari needle sucks at killing anything but a normal human, and space marines especially chaos one can survive a lot of toxins and simply go onto a coma to purify themselves of them.

I do agree an eye shot shouldn't be fatal, the needle doesn't have that much penetrative power and brain hemorrhage probably wouldn't kill an astartes nor would the toxin. It's possible the guy was only injured but incapacitated
@@lordgod9958 i can get behind the incapacitated theory as a Drukhari needle sucks at killing anything but a normal human, and space marines especially chaos one can survive a lot of toxins and simply go onto a coma to purify themselves of them.
