My mom just bought a 2017 Edge Titanium on Friday May 25, 2018 at Enterprise Car Sales. It's black with ivory tan interior with option group 300A. However, it got good features, but her's didn't came with panoramic roof(JTLYK sunroof are prone to leak), no navigation, & no remote start. Not only she got because she rented a 2018 Edge just five months ago, but the second gear wasn't working correctly in her 2004 Explorer. Thank you for sharing!
I'm looking to buy a new car and it's been so helpful watching your reviews so I have an idea of what I don't like and what I do like. Helps to not waste time driving those that aren't my kind of likes
@@100RentalCars not completely. I really want to focus on whatever I get not being one known for mechanical issues and safety. After being in a wreck and having a car that stays in the shop more than its driven I'm over it. I'm a mother of three so I need to know it'll hang for all my needs. I definitely want an awd cross-over or small suv. Do you have any suggestions on what is a better brand? I am getting a bit confused by some of the videos on other places as in one they speak highly of a certain car and in another they say it's bad. I'm really liking the jeep renegade, Nissan cx 5, and the Toyota pathfinder, also kinda interested in checking out the chev trax .i just know I I'm staying away from Chrysler so that is making me rethink the jeeps. I currently drive Pacifica and it's been a complete pos since day one. Only good thing about the pacifica is the seating, sterio and it goes pretty good in the snow... If it stays out of the shop😂😂
+Mr. 2cents. It is nice. I really like what Ford has done with most of their SUVs (I'm not a fan of the Expedition). Especially with all the controls and screens. Hopefully you can a chance to drive one soon. When you do, film your thoughts and post it on TH-cam. I'll watch and share a link.
+Disney Fan Kinda pricey, right? The Edge is really nice...but 40k is in the same ballpark as the Audi Q5. I don't know. I think I'd rather have a base model Q5, instead of a fully equipped Edge. ...the Q5 is so, so nice.
I like the Edge, though haven't had a chance to drive one (though would like to, I've driven an Escape Titanium 2.0T and Explorer Limited V6, so the ones that this one sits between in Ford's lineup), and both were great vehicles. My daily driver is the Edge Titanium's competitor, the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited with the 3.6 V6, and I love it. Hopefully I'd think the same about the Edge, even though I'm a Jeep guy :)
+Vincent D I hope you do get a chance to drive an Edge soon, because I'd love to hear yiur take on it. To me the Grand Cherokee feels like a truck...more masculine. In contrast, the Edge feels more like a car to me. Softer? It's hard to describe. ...though I just returned an Audi Q5 and it's sooo much nicer than the Cherokee and Edge.
The electronic door lock switches looks awesome! I was thinking that Ford discontinued the conventional switches because car thieves would more likely to jimmy the locks and take off.
+Andrew Cavett Thanks Andrew. Yes, normally I shoot video of the car with a small camera, patch the video together in iMovie, and then add a voice over. With this video, I did the first half via voice over and the second half "live" using my cellphone's camera and mic. The sound was pretty bad though, so I had to alter it in iMovie a bit.
The 301A package doesn't include All wheel drive but is a separate option. Twin scrolling in the engine helps getting the torque on the lower end of the RPM range which is also why you don't have much of that Turbo lag with this engine. I actually prefer the 2.0L ecoboost engine than the 3.6L V6 that the edge uses. Has more torque and only a slight hp decrease. The sport 2.7L ecoboost which is also a V6 is the one you want though. As far as the blind spot goes I love it more than others. You should be looking at your mirrors anyways when. You're turning so a beep is more redundant and annoying IMHO.
+Ben Dunn Thanks, as always, for the info Ben. Especially on the egoboost engine. I'm seriously learning a lot from you. And after some thought, I think you're right about the beeping blindside detection. I do check my mirror, so the beeping is a bit redundant. But in retrospect, I guess I really want a larger, brighter warning light. This one is too small. Make it the size of a dime and bright red. Then I'll be happy.
Waves over the dedicated defrost buttons while complaining there are no dedicated defrost buttons. Wow. Dude, you do a good job generally but you need some more attention to detail practice.
Sorry Jojo, this was one of my earlier videos and I was still learning. Thanks for checking out this video. I hope you'll considering watching some of my newer stuff. Here's my review of the Tesla Model Y if you're interested: th-cam.com/video/su0eQTGgGx0/w-d-xo.html. And here's a more recent SUV review: th-cam.com/video/m0ZnOgfWj88/w-d-xo.html. Hope you're having a great weekend!
I have a 2017 Edge Titanium and I absolutely love it! Great drive across country, twice. Fill it up with treasures. I hope it lasts forever!!
I hope so too!
I don’t know why, but the way you said EcoBoost at the beginning makes me smile every time!

Congrats to your mom! And to you, I hope you get a chance to drive it too.
100 Rental Cars Thank you! I always smile at her Ford Edge whenever I see it! BTW, it's better than her Explorer! 😀💖💯

Thanks! Have you decided what you'll buy yet?

I am buying one Monday
I often heard the Ford Edge is a nice place to be in.
I want to test drive a Sport and see for myself.

Me and my girlfriend are looking forward to buying a 2017 -18 titanium AWD, however is the v6 better or lower?
Just bought mine used, and it originally was a rental car. Sadly, no panorama sunroof... '_'
no CD player?
Does this have apple car play and android auto
Good job !!!
With AWD and the 301A package the MSRP comes to $41,840.

Dunno if anyone gives a shit but in less than 15 minutes I hacked my girl friends Instagram account by using Instablaster.
I enjoy your videos. Do you do your audio(VO) in post?

100 Rental Cars I like the light on my QX30
does it have any dvd player?
I own one of those and it does have a CD player
You can only insert and play 1DVD at a time
Good! It lacks a real leather steering wheel and hid or led headlights.
Love your username. Makes me super curious to check out your channel. Once I'm off mobile, I'm totally checking it out. And thanks for the comment!
