    1:59 According to Jeanne Louise Calment the secret to long life is olive oil, port wine, and chocolate.
    2:22 according to science it is people who are prudent, persistent, and well organized. In other words conscientious people.
    3:51 eating lentils and beans has been correlated with blue zones having inhabitants that consistently live longer than 100 years. With meat eaten around five times per month.
    4:10 the worlds longest lived people do not pump iron, run marathons, or join gyms.

      According to Vedas in Yuga cycle the ages see a gradual decline of dharma, wisdom, knowledge, intellectual capability, life span, emotional and physical strength.
      Satya Yuga - Virtue reigns supreme. Human stature was 21 cubits (33 ft 6 inches). Average human lifespan was 100,000 years.
      Treta Yuga - There was 3 quarter virtue and 1 quarter sin. Normal human stature was 14 cubits (22 ft 4 inches). Average human lifespan was 10,000 years.
      Dwapara Yuga - There was 1 half virtue and 1 half sin. Normal human stature was 7 cubits (11 ft 2 inches). Average human lifespan was 1,000 years.
      Kali Yuga - There is 1 quarter virtue and 3 quarter sin. Normal human stature is 3.5 cubits (5 ft 3 inches). Average human lifespan will be 100 years.
      In the present days we may be said to live in a Kali Yuga, which is said to have started in 3102 BCE with the end of the Mahabarata(Dwapra). This date is also considered by many Hindus to be the day that Lord Krishna left Earth and went to abode

    Every time I am inspired by Palki talking about a news item like this, the greater the probability that the people listening to her will reach an incredible age increases (imho). ( : She is such an excellent presenter, talking with such clarity and honesty that may emerge from her news reports. It may likely leave us feeling that there is something to live and strive for, no matter how grave the Gravitas. Having greater clarity about what is really going on in the world provides us with a better opportunity to be a part of the required solutions, rather than enlarging the existing problem/paradigm. In my lifetime there has not been such a grave/"Gravitas" time to be alive since the Cuban Missile Crisis, when I was 7. It is wonderful and an honour to have someone like her delivering the news. May she live very long and well and continue to inspire us all for a very an extraordinary long time.

    Happiness is the secret. serotonin is a psychedelic responsible for your perception of space time. The faster your life feels in the present, the better. I'm sure a lot of you are wondering why the past feels quick during corona.... its worth doing more research into this topic. Psychedelic are constantly associated with immortality.

    • @person1858
      @person1858 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Serotonin is a neurotransmitter not a psychedelic. Psychedelics are not "associated with immortality". They are just drugs which are very useful, but can also have negative psychological effects. you should write more clearly or youll just confuse everyone. The one thing "age related" which psychedelics are good for is that they may have a beneficial effect at guarding against things like dementia, but we actually know almost nothing about psychedelics as they were illegal, so not much research has been done.

    • @nickfoster7043

      @@person1858 serotonin is a psychedelic and a neurotransmitter. serotonin's systematic name is 5-Hydroxytryptamine. Your most common pschedelics are tryptamines like LSD, psilocybin DMT etc.. they all bond to the 5-HT receptor. psychedelic simply means a molecule responsible for you perception of spacetime.
      Yeh sorry about writing incoherently - im not gonna write a well structure comment on TH-cam though....
      They are associated with immortally - read Graham Hancock's Supernatural. he talks about all the old cultures of the world being influenced by them, and the practices of the surviving tribesmen. They have been using near death experiences and Ibogaine for around 32,000 years and they all associate with life after death.
      Ask yourself why these molecules where banned. Scientist at the time were dead against a ban. And i doubt you'll believe me, but dementia is a result of Human devolving back into animals. We are losing the ability to communicate with one another.
      Thanks for replying - i'm happy to talk further if you want?

    • @person1858
      @person1858 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@nickfoster7043 I didnt realise you were talking about a supernatural afterlife. I thought you were referring to biological immortality. I havent had an experience with psychedelics yet though I plan to. but in general im skeptical of such claims.
      As for the dementia thing I think thats a natural consequence of getting old. People are never at their sharpest in their 90s after all, Im not sure if thats the same as devolving.

    • @nickfoster7043
      @nickfoster7043 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@person1858 I mean both. I won't attempt to argue staying in the material world for an eternity is possible, because it is a little crazy to think it possible tbh. I will say though that The Buddha and Methuselah have some interesting lore about them. Like how the The Buddha was able to levitate which is all the do with inverting gravity, and if you know a little physics, you know that gravity and time are the same thing.
      If you a happy person I highly recommend getting stuck right into psilocybin. And at the end of your trip, ask yourself "how much have I aged?" I recommend doing it in nature too. Oooo and if you have any intolerance to any food, stay clear of those types of food for at least 3 days before tripping. Sorry for all the unsolicited advice haha =)
      Also please consider the effect it has on your genetics. Happiness is responsible for stopping our genetics deteriorating. it also is responsible for our metabolism meaning our genetics code is used more often per a second the happier we are. I wonder what other tryptamines can do for us =)

    I would rather prolong youth . Being alive till 120 years old means you live as an old person for half of your life. The prime years with the best health and energy levels till 45-50 years. Then your health starts to decline, energy level goes down.
    I would rather prolong the prime years than just living long and old life
