I shaved my wife's legs when she was pregnant. I can't say she enjoyed it, since she was VERY uncomfortable being 7, 8 and 9 months pregnant. But, we got through it together. Now our son will be a sophomore in high school this year. I don't get to shave her legs anymore. But sometimes, I'd like to. Just to let her know how much I love her.
A husband's primary job is to take care of his wife and family. "If Momma ain't happy, nobody happy!" Guys, keep your woman happy!! Happy wife, happy life!
Oh, now, don't start thinking that I'm a perfect person!! Oh No!! Far from it. I have many faults. Just ask my wife! But, love is a crazy, wonderful thing that helps smooth out the wrinkles. Blessings to all!
Very classy establishment. High quality people running that barbershop. We need more people like that. They take pride in their work and their business.
There should be places that do this for pregnant women!! Shaving my legs is impossible right now it'd be nice to have smooth legs even though i can't see my feet...
I’m really glad I saw this video! I’m about to complete my cosmetology course and eventually get my business degree! And my ultimate goal is to own my own grooming line and open a shop! But the other day I asked myself what would make my shop/salon stand out and this answered part of it! Never would have thought of this so definitely going to include this!
Could be fun to include a massage in the process, maybe as a post-shave to work in some soothing balm/lotion. Similar to a scalp massage during the wash. As a hairy gent, I wouldn't object to a nice face/neck massage either. Also, I've noticed over the years that the way a shop/salon smells has a major impact on the overall experience. The more you can to do to use naturally scented products, and mask chemical treatment odors, the better. Maybe add a few drops of lavender to the hot towels and peppermint/tea tree to the cold towels? Place live plants around to absorbs odors and add fresh oxygen. Most unisex places (generally chains) have lackluster experiences. For that, you need to split into either spas for females or barbershops for males. It would awesome to have a top quality joint for both genders and even families to enjoy. Best of luck to you in your future endeavors, sir! ;)
They need to have this in salons as an alternative to waxing. But like a hot towel on your legs, the shave, lotion and then a leg massage or something. I'm 8 months pregnant and have my mom or husband helping shave my legs cuz I cant reach and i end up with Knicks or razor burn from them
Madame Khitai I will tell you right now any spa/salon would charge $80+ for that kind of service. And let’s be real, you wouldn’t go to a quick place to have this done. So the next thing would be no one would pay $80+ to have their legs SHAVED, only to have it come back next week. That is why waxing is popular. You’re paying around the $40-80 range (depending on what kind of spa you go to) but that hair won’t be back until 3 weeks later.
Your hubby needs to step up and help you out. After all, he is the prime reason that you are 8 months pregnant!! Play that guilt card!! Shame him into shaving your legs. I'm a hubby too. I've been married to my lovely wife for almost 26 years now. You need to further his training. He will be better off, because when the 3 am diaper change is required, he will be up to the task! Momma needs her rest.

Usually your videos are edgy and hip and hot but usually they are very suited for the internet. I can see this type of video being featured on history channel or something educational. This video has history of the insitution. A recognition of social norms between men and women but nothing negative. This video just seems professional as heck. I like it.
Getting my face shaved is one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever felt. So one would imagine the experience would be the same for a female. I only treat my self to one face shave a year......my daughter calls it : Daddy's spa day.
While I get mine shaved at a barbershop occasionally, as it is very pampering to do so, I switched to shaving with a shave soap, brush, and a DE safety razor. I've found that shaves feel better that way which replicates some of that feel from barbershop shaves. If you haven't done so or looked into doing so, I'd recommend checking it out. There's some technique to learn but there's also a lot of people on the internet releasing videos and articles on it that are very good resources.
I absolutely hate the idea of anybody else putting anything sharp next to my face. Even my dad when he was teaching me to shave, it made me really uncomfortable becouse there was somebody else holding a razor next to my face and neck. No problem with the barber cleaning up the back of my neck and around the ears when i get a haircut, only shaving is the issue
How long does it take to grow back? I'd think it would start growing back the next day, so it would be a waste of money. Or does a straight razor shave somehow last longer?
This video was such a good idea and you were the perfect girl to pull this off. As a guy that puts in a lot of work into maintain his beard, I love hitting up a good barber for a nice shave once a month. I can only imagine how good it felt on your legs, that's a lot of real estate even for a small girl like Michelle.
A full shave can easily run you 20$ as a man. Considering the increased labor of legs I wouldn't be surprised it's not 40$ at least. Also AFAIK hairdressers and spa staff don't get straight razor shaving training anymore, you need a traditional barber apprenticeship for that to be standard issue.
That's AWESOME! I'd love to go to a business where they shave womens' legs. It could be a beauty parlor or a salon or a barber's shop. The coolest part is that the shave (I've used my husband's straight razor, or l guess it's called a safety razor) seems to get a closer shave. It also gets more hair with each stroke so you're not going over the same spot 10 different times, creating ingrown hairs and rashes. I'm all for it!
I’ve been using a safety razor for a while. Still struggling to not cut up my knees. I get that they are boney but I know other people do it. And disposables pivot, so I didn’t nick my knees as badly as I do with the safety razor. Any tips?
Sarah Pipakis Focus on the angle of the blade on your skin and the amount of pressure you use. You only need the blade to contact your skin, no pressure should be used. And you can always stretch the skin! If it's too bony in one spot, just move the skin to a flatter area of your knee/leg
Sarah Pipakis What he said. Use no pressure at all on the blade. Not light pressure. NO pressure. With a disposable, you have to press down on the head of the razor a bit or it won't cut anything. If you're using a properly sharp blade, that's not true of a safety razor. The head of the razor itself provides all the pressure the blade needs. All you need to do is let it sit there and just glide it over the skin. Also your average double edge razor blade tends to be a hell of a lot sharper than a Gillette disposable. You can get away with occasionally moving a Mach 3 or the like sideways. Never, ever move a safety razor (or, God forbid, a straight) side to side unless you're looking to get blood.
Sarah Pipakis, I have bony knees. The trick is short strokes, readjusting the angle often, and apply no pressure. If your hair isn’t cut after no pressure, then experiment with a blade from a different brand. The sharpness angles are different and different blades perform differently in different razors. You should not need to apply any pressure to cut hair.
Benjamin Marshall well. Not much difference between having someone shave you and having someone wax you. And when someone has a full Brazilian wax done. They get everything. Including booty hair.

Darwin was not wrong though. I mean, it doesn't mean people with more hair are less evolved or wathever like in a mind sense. I started shaving my legs this year. I’m 13 and I loveeee it I cut my self three times this year in about 7 months. I used to be very self aware of the hair on my legs I’m newish with thick black hair on light pale skin soooo those suckers are visible. I used to sneakily shave my upper lip for myslelg because I could get away with hat but not my legs they were to viable so when I was allowed to start i LOVED EVERY MIN I stopped for winter but I find it almost therapeutic to see the little hairs fall or get cut off like that and the smooth feeling of rubbing your feet together and the deleting or rubbing on the covers I love it all!!!!

i used the same technique at home( with a normal razor) and OMG now I have best legs ever!! bye bye strawberry legs! beautiful and unique video Michelle!! kisses from italy
I know this has nothing to do with the video, but love barbershop singing and someone who’s been doing it for over 5 years it’s good to see it in main stream media
Aww man, i wish I knew about that place when I was still in LA. I've been using a straight razor for three years now. It's SO much better if you have thicker hair and tend to clog up disposables easily, and it's without a doubt more cost effective. As long as you practice good technique, it's nowhere near as dangerous as it looks in film.
The place looks really cool right? Too bad they don't normally do leg shaves :( she said they only agreed to do it for her and that it was the barber's first time
Love this and love the idea of opening a female shaving barber shop thing haha. I just don't get why she had her shoes on? But also the "primitive gene" thing is actually an intelligent theory of evolutionary biology and shouldn't be taken as an insult (the word primitive for some reason has a negative context today) as it means you have a more "pure" genealogical bloodline that has survived (survival of the fittest sorta thing) without multiple genetic mutations over ancestral generations - meaning your ancestors had strong genes that have existed for centuries. This is a good thing :)
Yes! I was totally about to comment about the primitive thing as well. People tend to correlate the word with low intelligence/being uncivilized but I think Darwin was just referencing a time when technology was less developed, with that gene pool being preserved across generations. And we now know that certain societies have advanced at different rates due primarily to environmental factors, not necessarily because of the people themselves.
Because it has been used as an insult. People of colour were compared to monkeys. Saying that they’re primitive was a way of saying they’re more closely related to monkeys. People didn’t make that up because they were sensitive, that is literally what people said about them.
this is like the 3rd vid i watched about shaving/services, but u will never feel the stress of men having to shave their facial hair... but u are still brave and awesome for trying this all out, so we dont have to :)

Okay but is her laugh not the cutest thing ever?
You should have let your hair grow out more before you got a shave.
Jon Haymaker then what’s the point of shaving if u have to let it grow back longer in order to have smooth hairless legs...
It is just for the video. It would look better on camera if she had long hair you could see getting shaved off.
Long enough that they'd have to take the clippers to it pre-shave. That'd be a real beard shave experience. ;)
*i love the editing*
D
Is it happy?
This was so cool! XD I think more girls should shave their face. The hair doesn’t actually grow back thicker 💁🏻♀️... idk where that myth came from but it makes so many peoples lives so difficult :0
Also that barber lady was so pretty :3
I love how informative these videos are. Keep up the great work 👍👍
Love this video. For some reason it was relaxing. I thought I would be nervous because of the straight razors.
When they showed Sweeney Todd my heart fluttered and my smile grew ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I dont see any leg hair at all. It's like these razor ads where they shave hairless legs
Im a barber and this was great!
Nothing beats a proper shave from a good Barber. Real pampering.
1:39 that's what she said
CtrlAltDelicious 😂😂
so original and funny x fucking D
"travel size"
CtrlAltDelicious e
Lol
i used the same technique at home( with a normal razor) and OMG now I have best legs ever!! bye bye strawberry legs! beautiful and unique video Michelle!! kisses from italy
giorgia montese you mean you shaved backwards first then upwards?
I know this has nothing to do with the video, but love barbershop singing and someone who’s been doing it for over 5 years it’s good to see it in main stream media
This would be waaay better than waxing
We love you for putting yourself thru this for us😂
Barbershop straight razor shaves are the best! It's the mani/pedi for men. I'm getting one soon as covid is over.
No shit, I watched Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street like 3 hours ago and then saw this I laughed too hard when those clips cut in!!
You are so freaking beautiful! This was a great video! I'd love to get my legs shaven like this!
Michaela Fowler me too
0:27 MAIN STREET/LEMON SQUEEZY
I also love that there was barbershop at the end 🙂💈💈💈💈
just found you channel and i’m obsessed!! keep it up girly💓💓
"Would you shave my mustache?" I died at that part😂
I've known some well prepared Barbers but, I'm impressed by this man .
Love this!!! Would love to watch more vids like this. Wish I could try having my legs professionally shaved!!!
That video was so worth watching lol I loved it!
i'm so glad you liked it!!!! thank you for watching :)
Nobody:
Nobody in the world:
Michelle: "Im a hairy girl."
When did barber shops start shaving legs lol?
i was the first person they've ever done this for lmao
LolMiela In the 1970’s,
this was such a cool video!
Michelles giggle was literally so cute hahahaha
Aww man, i wish I knew about that place when I was still in LA. I've been using a straight razor for three years now. It's SO much better if you have thicker hair and tend to clog up disposables easily, and it's without a doubt more cost effective. As long as you practice good technique, it's nowhere near as dangerous as it looks in film.
The place looks really cool right? Too bad they don't normally do leg shaves :( she said they only agreed to do it for her and that it was the barber's first time
AHH that sweeney todd clip! its my all time favourite movie
Yall KNOW I’m up at 1 am binging Michelle’s videos when I have to get up for school at 7
Great video Michelle! You're such an inspiration! 😘
Her legs dont even look that bad.
I'd like that chick to come at my leg hair after winter ends
The only thing that can attack my forest after winter is an electric trimmer. 😂
That sound in the intro was SATISFYING AF!!
I love how the barber's just like, "Yeah, ok. Whatever." Total nonplussitude.
Agree! People get way too offended now.....haha
Beck Cetera exactly!!!
Because it has been used as an insult. People of colour were compared to monkeys. Saying that they’re primitive was a way of saying they’re more closely related to monkeys. People didn’t make that up because they were sensitive, that is literally what people said about them.
There is a clothing skate brand called "Ptimitive"
this is like the 3rd vid i watched about shaving/services, but u will never feel the stress of men having to shave their facial hair... but u are still brave and awesome for trying this all out, so we dont have to :)
Am I the only one who wanted to yell:"BENJAMIN BARKER!!!"
How much did it cost you?
JuxChannel fr
Michelle's best shave video.
Just me or does the barber look like what Ramona Flowers would look like as she got older? :P
I was looking for this comment.
