That jug saw mechanically much more superior to prosumer grade jigsaw produced nowadays by top brands. Pendulum strokes have zero jitter, even Bosh not there, they build prosumer tools for speed compromising accuracy. Awesome tool and restoration work!
I still got one of these it's a great jigsaw, The only thing it doesn't blow the dust away..It's a solid machine and heavy which I like, Thanks for the video
I know right. You watch a ton of these and think you have all methods of diagnosis in your had and all the answers for your problems. So you order some broken shit. Sit down with it and think to yourself "alright, I know what I am doing" and you start and have a look what the issue is, and that is when you realize you have an issue you never saw before... if you are really unlucky one of those pain in the arse intermittent ones. That's how you collect old junk. lol
Oh dude you don't even know how that feels when you are sleepy and just feel that sting like you are just a out to fall asleep but you can't because you will miss out o the restoration. 🤣
@@resoursa no actually it's cheaper if you have something like lighter fluid and a exact knife but if the stickers are small I would recommend a syringe to inject the lighter fluin in the side of the sticker then wait a moment then use the exacto knife it just works the best fory tools
Nicely done. Don't ever change the format. No music needed. Ever. You might try Hammertone paint sometime. Nice effect. Do you record the labek info where possible? Amps, Model etc. I use crazy glue to hold down loose labels. That is a quality Jig Saw. Variable speed? That is a great and quiet buffer you have.
Very nice! Did a reconditioning, didn't see any obvious short cuts or omissions, didn't spend $150. to repair a saw that was $70. when new, that's how it should be done. The blade guide roller pin was worn pretty thin in the middle so will let blade wander a little, but only important if you make very tight turns in your wood. Liked that you use vaseline for lube, no need for high pressure grease.
@@carlosrivas5522 yep, Tysytube was one of the first I saw using the product, which apparently is very good. The only 'bad' thing that's not sold worldwide (at least for now) 😄
Also, try Muriatic acid it does a pretty job on rust. On a previous video you were cleaning cement off of a mixer, Muriatic acid was made to break down the bonds in cement. It's cheap and easy to buy.
Yes all you listed are correct, some tools I need manuals, other tools no manual I need to dissect. After do a lot projects some experiences happen to me.
I watch each of your films several times, I am very interested in it, it is my hobby. Thank you very much. Please tell me what kind of squeegees you use because I would like to buy one. Best regards.
Nice Job! I was wondering if I can upgrade the blade holder and get rid of the allen screws. I have the same jigsaw, bought new in Nipponbashi, Osaka in the 90's.
I think this is why the previous owner had put some duck tape underneath. 0:55 My Metabo has a non marking metallic plate and also has a removable hard plastic plate if you really want to be sure..
Good job,if I know your channel...in june I was restoring one black&decker angle grinder p5416(burned motor, bearings),the machine is now...like new;sorry my English is not good.
No idea how I got here, but I am happy that Google suggested it.
So in love with your repair and restoration skills. Bravo.

By the way, I find WD40 amazing for removing that sticky stuff left from stickers. It just helps to remove stickers in general.
Great video👍
Same
Its because of kerosene which included in wd40. Just try clean kerosene, its much more cheap than wd.

Was that vaseline ? I never heard of using that for mechanical greasing. Looked like lithium grease to me.
