"Why the hell are these guys there? They're not doing anything and when they do...they're not allowed to do it" Ah, I see you've never had a government job
before the recession i knew a few government workers who didn't do anything 40 hours a week. my aunt worked with a guy who had his department downsized and merged with another department and due to an oversight he was left as the manager and sole member of a team that no longer existed. So he just came to work and goofed off on his computer all day since he didn't technically have a boss. This went on for a couple years and was only noticed following the recession when they started doing budget cuts.
My father was a "quality assurance specialist" for the US Army. Which meant it was his job to tell other people how to do their own damn job, because most of them had no idea. Including the engineers. One time he was supposed to check out the Bradley fighting vehicle. He was told not to turn anything on because it didn't actually work. So of course, he started it and guess what, it didn't work. It did set off a lot of alarms though, and my dad got chewed out by his boss, who was also incompetent. His last 5 or so years there he just sat in his office all day with nothing to do.
It's not as good as the original, but that's kind of hard to pull of. If you don't explain anything, you just have the first one all over. If you explain anything at all, you already said to much, because the mystery is what made it work. I still really enjoyed the atmosphere in this movie. Many things do actually make more sense than you give them credit for. So, we have a somewhat religious regime, that throws people in the cube. They not only test stuff like the bacteria. When that one guy reaches the exit they ask him if he believes in god. So I would guess that it''s also a psychological experiment, like if people will gain/loose faith when they face terrible things. ( also probably things like how they handle certain situations, group dynamics etc., of course they KNOW what happens if you set someone on fire, but how that affects other people, the group, how they figure out ways around traps, those are things that they could still learn from it.) The two guys "observing" the cube are also part of an experiment. pretty much all they do is look at the people in the cube and then in the end, if they do get out, they ultimately decide their fate, by pressing a single button. They are technically allowed to read the files, but they are told not to, told not to go down but able to do so, etc. Someone is observing how they behave in that situation, You got Dod who does what he's told and doesn't give a shit and the other dude who doesn't really want to do it but still does it (at least until the events in the movie).
There could've been growth from the first film. I don't think they ever intended to have sequels so it's not easy to build from but there are elements that could be expounded on. In my eyes a great sequel to Cube would have been close to the same thing, at least in presentation. Except it'd be darker than Cube, there are a handful of people. Maybe a there's a skittish guy who doesn't want to be around a group, maybe some better camaraderie between everyone so we don't simply rehash Quentin for a fourth time. This tighter bond seems to get them through rooms. This time nobody knows much of anything, and are essentially relying on basic logical thinking to progress. Maybe they're even able to suss out one or two trapped rooms because there's already blood or a body in the corner of the room. But time goes on. The process is slow. They stumble on strange rooms, ones that are one of a kind. Maybe they happen to find a moving room and one or two people get left behind as they're trying to get on, and these two decide to simply wait for the room to come back for a few hours, eventually they'd probably decide to move on and try to find another way. The group is beginning to get thirsty now, and hungry. It'd be a very dark version but the dehydration, starvation, unintentional group separation and potential corpse discovery are just too fascinating to me, alongside a non-dysfunctional group that isn't at each other's throats. Just an experiment to see how far people could wander in an impossibly complex maze before they expire. It might be a very boring movie.

That also explains Dodds "asshole"-behavior : He knows what they are doing is wrong, he knows that bad things are happening, but he also knows that everything they do is monitored and he fears the consequences of bad behavior. Think about soldiers doing horrible stuff because "they have to follow orders, or else they get shot for treason". About Jax and his two men appearing so quickly : I don't think that's unrealistic. This guy is clueless. The way Cube zero answered the mysteries of the cube was perfect - it didnt answer jack shit. The idea was that no matter how much you learn about the cube, youll just end up with more questions. You just cant see the big picture in a system this vast. The observers were a part of the experiment. They were in their own cube in a way. The gestapo villain was just another victim of the cube too. Do you believe he's free? Of course hes not. You'll just go up the hierchy until you realize that its out of control, just like Worth said. And it was brilliant. It felt like they ruined the mystery, but they actually expanded it. Why have an elevator that goes down to the cube? They were a part of the experiment. They were most likely hopling that someone will try to do it. Who would do that anyways? Would you go down to the cube if you had access to it? Also other people were using that elevator. Dod was not a bad guy. He was the the typical subordinate who follows orders. Lots of people do this, because people trust authority and know the price of disobedience. And he should know more than anyone else. German solders now have the right to disobey their superiours, because i guess "I just followed orders" was not good enough for society. This is an actual issue that goes on in our world. All the other shit this guy said was crap too. I cant believe that most people agree with him
@@halo1of1the1sun yeah but the acting is bad. The romance plot is hamfisted the religious stuff is badly implemented the super soldier green eye thing is just laughable and it ruined the atmosphere of the first.
@@ulrikahaggard9923 I dont think it does. I still think that the workings of the cube are mysterious enough for me to fear its vastness. I know we saw a bit of what happens behing the scenes, but they were just more victims of the system. To me this only expands the horror. Also I believe that the original cube stands on its own. Nothing can ruin it for me, because I dont really see these films as cannon. I see them as fan films. And fan films can be fun. I personally enjoyed the acting. The style of the movie is more over the top and silly. Like a comic book. I get why that can make the whole thing look stupid in comparison, but I simply let it be what it is. Granted the romanse wasnt great, but it doesnt ruin the movie for me. It was barely expressed even. He never even shared his emotions with her and she was kicking hiss ass for the most part. Its as if he knew it was silly that he had a crush on her and went after her. Well it wasnt the only reason. He just hated everything about this situation
See. I enjoyed the ending to Cube Zero ALOT when I first watched it, cuz Wynn being Kazan was one I thought was probably one of my favourite plot twists ever. And it would have been kinda poetic, he helped get one person out sacrificing himself, but then he eventually would be the only one from Cube 1 to escape. But no it’s just “oh yea. The effects of Lobotomies will cause literally the exact same effects, like not liking green rooms and having completely different characters say the same shit
I still really liked the concept that they had. It was a cool idea that Prisoners were used as test subjects. I personally thought it was pretty interesting and a unique movie series.
maybe if the cube has tech problems the elevator is being used for the mto go down fix the problem while the traps are turned off and get back to reboot it
Maybe what they're testing with the flames, the nitrogen / Freon shit, and the spikes, is the censor that actually sets off those traps. Maybe they're a sensor manufacturer, haha.
xxoxia I think It's pretty obvious that they're testing the people. They want to see what they'll do, how they'll act, who they'll like, who they'll hate, and what lengths they'll go to trying to survive.
I thought Cube Zero was supposed to be some kind of religious metaphor type of deal. My guess was that the cube was some sort of purgatory or hell that they were supposed to escape from as a representation of finding salvation or perhaps a trial by ordeal. When they do escape they're asked whether or not they believe in God even after being put through said ordeal as some test of faith or maybe a show of repentance or acceptance. Maybe it has something to do with accepting Christ into one's heart or something similar in nature. I assume it's inspired by Christian or Catholic theology if it is indeed a religious metaphor. Then the control room is perhaps a different circle of hell, or maybe the cube itself isn't even important and it's really just the people in the control room that are being tested. Jax (if that's even how it's spelled) and his guys I figured are either angels or demons. Or, maybe I'm giving somebody too much credit and it was never even meant to be that deep. It could easily be as shallow as some producer trying to cash in on the success of the original one last time.
i dont mind religious subtext/metaphors in horror, such as the Exorcist, but with this movie it was really heavy handed and felt shoehorned in, especially since the other 2 movies didn't have any religious elements i can remember. it could work but i feel like they botched it.
But if it's an experiment, it has a purpose. But in the first cube the whole point was that there was no purpose to the cube. Or if there was a purpose once it had been lost.
erccool Well, we know that the end of the Cube doesn't lead really to an exit, you would have to say if you believe or not in God and the same people that put Quin AKA Kazan in the Cube would be watching him reaching the end, so particularly I think they just killed him when he reached the end.
erccool my guess is that Kazan was supposed to be the protagonist of Cube zero but they couldn’t get the actor for Kazan so they introduced a new character
See, I thought that too, but if you look close at 30:03 his name on his shirt is clearly printed as "Wynn" (Not Quin) and Kazan's said... well... "Kazan". If they were trying to say it was the same character, that seems like an odd oversight.
Just recently found your channel through your Cube movie reviews and I have to say, with how this series went later on it made me have a fondness for the original Cube. That being said, I truly think that you are a great reviewer and I will fully support your channel in anyway I can.
The ending makes sense because the "mental person" was right, the "blue room" was the exit, so that explaines how he knew, because he still retained enough info on how this was working.
I can already imagine how this series of films would end "Hello employee 5271, this is a button that kills all the higher ups, sells all the company stocks, donates it all to charity, releases everybody from the cubes, and releases all the files on whats been happening here. I'm going to put it on your desk right in front of you with a big sign saying "don't push" ok? So make sure you don't push it!".
I actually liked Cube Zero. The aesthetic of the cube itself gave it a proper, more industrial and primitive look compared to the original's well-lit, futuristic, minimalistic feel. Also, the idea of having an outside look at a cube actually worked. Is it better than the original? No, definitely not, but it does have its charm. The dialogue is cheesy but the booby traps are excellent. Better than Hypercube by a nautical mile, mainly because of the way it looks and feels. Similar to, but again, more primitive looking in comparison which makes sense. I would welcome a remake of this one. Only to see the issues it has fixed, but keep the great looking aesthetics of the cube itself in tact.
Very entertaining reviews you make 👍 been watching several of them now and keep laughing when writers clearly make a mess of everything! Good job making old/horror/bad movies into good youtube material 😊👍
I find it weird how the PREQUEL was the most futuristic looking out of the trilogy in terms of technology. Yes hypercube had the most futuristic cube design but the outside of the cube and the way the people in the cube were dressed looks like modern day
True, in terms of tech, Cube Zero had the retro futuristic thing down pat. I like the way the cube itself looked in the prequel. It did have more futuristic traps but in terms of aesthetic? It definitely looked far more primitive in comparison.
15:55 reminds of the good old "If you dont beleive in god you go to hell" cause of the fire. When watching this I thought the cube was gonna end up being some kind or weird twisted purgatory but na
If you rant about the logic of the traps, you should also include the unlikelihood of having such a huge complex with seamlessly connected moving cubes underground, that are somehow all electronically connected to a hub, while still moving. Also, the Freezing-Trap is illogical, because nothing freezes in an instant. You could be in any medium at absolute zero degrees (-272) and still need a "lot" of time to freeze completely. The experiment with the frozen rose takes about 10 seconds to get it to a state, where it can be shattered. A shoe would probably take a minute or two, so they could cover them in clothes of the deceased and take a run without getting more than a little burn because the dry ice isn't covering them.
Yeah but the excuse they made was lazy, forced, and stupid. The moving cube was a great idea. The thing that worked about the first film was that you never knew nothing, but this film and the sequel ruined that.
In a way that could explain the critique of not needing to test something like a freeze trap. In our place in time what you say is true, but this is supposed to be leading edge technology they're testing. So why not test something better than our current freezing capabilities?
I liked this movie. Definitely more enjoyable than Cube 2. 25:00 - I think it was just the adjacent rooms that had their letters corroded/burned. I don't think the all of the rooms were like that.
okay, but i should point you havent actually explained why, You just assigned it a numerical value that doesn’t really mean much, I’m all for you liking something I didn’t but come on I gave you a 30 plus minute explaination for my point of view, I’m gonna need more then a big steam rolling SEVEN.
I saw Hypercube before acube and dug it , but man Cube really is superior in everyway. This film seemed rubbish so glad that I just watched your review. Saved me an hour of my life.
i think Hypercube is better if you think of it as its own movie rather than part of the series, sort of like how the Star Wars prequels are great by themselves but sub-par as Star Wars movies
possibly but as the actor looks and sounds different I was giving them some (undeserved) benefit of the doubt that they would prefer to not add continuity errors and just implied the two characters went through the same procedure instead.
Might be a little late to the party but here are my 2 cents. I like Cube and Cube Zero the most. Hypercube is pointless I was searching for a deeper meaning but there isn't any in Hypercube. The original Cube is very interesting but not developed enough. Cube Zero I liked because of the nice positive twist at the end and her escape and Wynn's twists with the signature and the auxilary exit. Wynn and Dodd's characters make sense for me because the powers behind the curtain are also using them as test bunnies not really as their employees. It's just a second game into a game. I think the major problem with all the Cube movies is that the premise is so fucking good that it draws the interest of the viewers but the writers are weak and can't really manage to live up to the great premise and tell a good story on it.
I have just finished watching the Trilogy and I do agree with you that the 2nd part of the movie was unnecessary @ all!!! And Now the question goes with this - Is Kazan alive after all ? Or he got killed like the 2nd movie at the end! & I do also agree with you that wynn's character got changed into a familiar character which is Kazan! So basically Wynn got the same mental issue similar with Kazan and I am against it honestly because Kazan's mental issue should be with him and not another character having the same mental issue unless if they were the same person! But really what did happen with Kazan after he escaped?! - Thank you for the great review!!! Because honestly I needed some explanation and yours was good one so thank you!!!!
Well personally I consider the original cube and its sequels separate entities, We weren't shown what happened to kazan because we weren't supposed to see it that information was deliberately kept from the audience for a reason, your best guess is the answer cause anything less is disappointing, So to me it stayed that way regardless of sequels.
Jiffy Jaf what happened to kazan is what happened to owens UNLESS the 2nd cube was upgraded with there only being 1 exit because if there were 2 exits in cube 1997 then kazan went through the wrong one... and by 2nd cube i mean cube zero was the 1st cube - cube 1997 the 2nd and cube 2 hyper cube being the final cube in movie terms because it was stated that they had several cubes.
I think cube zero was not about kazan, I think it shows the possibility of how some certain people who monitors the cube end up in there as their punishment.
yeah basically anyone who doesnt blindly obey, and questions the inhumanity. The ones who dont buy the BS they're fed, and rebel against the system. They turn on the system and the system in return turns on them.
2 things that pissed me the fuck off about this movie smh. 1. Who are the higher ups... i thought the guy with the robot eye was the leader but hes far from it as he completely fared the man on the phone, but im guessing everyone even the leaders have chips to be controlled but who knows. 2. WHY AND I SAY WHY THE FUCK!!!!! Did he go down on the elevator he had 2 choices A. Go down to a prison death trap..or B. Go up and learn the biggest secret the world has to offer.
The use of letters could be to show a more basic system before they developped the coordinate system and coding for traps with the factors. Also them changing that around prevents the audience from knowing ahead of time what rooms characters are going into while the characters have no clue what's going on. It's a rather unique problem for a movie like this. I also think it's good that tjere's always someone above the others. It manages to preserve some of the mistory of the Cube
I would argue that's not a mystery though, that's a hierarchy, which is easy to explain hierarchy is ordered, hierarchy makes sense, wouldn't the mystery be better if there were no higher-ups, then you have to think, does this cube have a purpose are they there for a reason or is it all just a fucked Milgram experiment?
I actually liked this movie. It helped explain things in regards to the first movie and allowed a different perspective of the same situation. The engineers were in a different part of the cube i imagine but they were just as trapped as the people they were watching. Im guessing the higher ups were testing to see if humans had a conscience and how long would it take for them to act or even if it was necessary to even have them
i actually think this movie was great....with few faults....but the ending was kinda unfair and emotional and this is one of those movies where villian wins over hero
With the fact that they perfectly replicate the start of the first film I think it's even worse and they are saying he is kazam because their behaviour and wording being identical seems a little far for them to be different people or God forbid they are trying to say this film ends where the first one starts
Well I like the movie Cube zero and agree with most of your points granted I can't stop looking at the Great and Powerful Lord and Master Foamy the Squirrel on your shirt you sir are awesome

Rodislav Canev Yeah, he even tried to say that the letters being burned off was a "Plot Hole" even though they clearly only burned off the letters for the six exit cubes for that specific cube. Only those six rooms had the letters melted off, and every other room still had letters on it.
Exactly! This guy keeps talking about testing and why anyone would test a flamethrower.. It’s a psychological test if a test at all. I agree with you. More cube!
@@psilocypher don't how much of a psych test it is. seems it'd be more of a benefit to see how it affects the user not the person being used on. being burned alive sucks, being the person knowing he killed someone that way would by pyschologically more damaging

I like that Cube Zero looks older than Hypercube. It looks like a classic movie rather than a high quality new one, even though it's four years later.
Nunu Rats cube zero is a prequel to cube while hypercube is a sequel to cube so it makes sense that cube zero looks much older than hypercube.
Is it a b rated movie
Hypercube looks like it was made in 1994. I like the griddy looks of this film but that's pretty much it.

I cant believe that most people agree with him
@@luciolalazilia2189 Yeah, fair enough. I was trying to be funny there for the most part. I was imagining it like an American dad joke or something
The effects of Lobotomies will cause literally the exact same effects, like not liking green rooms and having completely different characters say the same shit
yea
Kazan didn't escape. They probably fried him after asking about god
I still really liked the concept that they had. It was a cool idea that Prisoners were used as test subjects. I personally thought it was pretty interesting and a unique movie series.
*waves goodbye*
*GOODBYE MYSTERY AND SUSPENSE, I'LL MISS YOU!!!*
You know a better prequel would make the letters work by having a moment where they realise they need to give moving guide to the rooms position
Holy crap this guy is so underrated
Roman Olson seriously, found this video fucking hilarious.
Agree
Preach
I like this movie as a kind of 'it's so bad it's good' cult classic
took me 2 videos to notice you are earing a foamy the squirrel shirt ! your now my instant favorite reviewer
wow, we find out what happened to A Pimp Named Slickback.
i liked learning about as outside of the cube as you could get
Wish they made more cube movies. I feel like If you combined the concept with no end house would make an epic film.
maybe if the cube has tech problems the elevator is being used for the mto go down fix the problem while the traps are turned off and get back to reboot it
Maybe what they're testing with the flames, the nitrogen / Freon shit, and the spikes, is the censor that actually sets off those traps. Maybe they're a sensor manufacturer, haha.
xxoxia I think It's pretty obvious that they're testing the people. They want to see what they'll do, how they'll act, who they'll like, who they'll hate, and what lengths they'll go to trying to survive.
Watched all Cube reviews of yours. Awesome. So nice to watch you. Thank you.
30:25 It's also a pretty blatant rip-off of the ending to "Brazil".
The soldiers had the mark of the beast on their forehead, so the theory of this being some sort of purgatory during the end times makes sense.
@@dancegod1691 i thought it was the letter "I" but it was a door handle, lol.
But if it's an experiment, it has a purpose. But in the first cube the whole point was that there was no purpose to the cube. Or if there was a purpose once it had been lost.
I think it shows that Quin is really Kazan, not what happened to Kazan. Kinda slipped there
erccool Well, we know that the end of the Cube doesn't lead really to an exit, you would have to say if you believe or not in God and the same people that put Quin AKA Kazan in the Cube would be watching him reaching the end, so particularly I think they just killed him when he reached the end.
yea but even if he was kazan the characters don't look the same so it doesn't make any sense it was tacked on
erccool my guess is that Kazan was supposed to be the protagonist of Cube zero but they couldn’t get the actor for Kazan so they introduced a new character
Same character different actor pretty obvious yeah.
See, I thought that too, but if you look close at 30:03 his name on his shirt is clearly printed as "Wynn" (Not Quin) and Kazan's said... well... "Kazan". If they were trying to say it was the same character, that seems like an odd oversight.
Watchers watching the watchers and all that. All very interesting results. Love Cube Zero
Just recently found your channel through your Cube movie reviews and I have to say, with how this series went later on it made me have a fondness for the original Cube. That being said, I truly think that you are a great reviewer and I will fully support your channel in anyway I can.
Thank you so much, I’m really glad you enjoy the videos.
The ending makes sense because the "mental person" was right, the "blue room" was the exit, so that explaines how he knew, because he still retained enough info on how this was working.
Also there were a ton of blue rooms and I remembered ally of the blue rooms in the original being trapped
The exit room was white… then it changed to red at the end
I can already imagine how this series of films would end
"Hello employee 5271, this is a button that kills all the higher ups, sells all the company stocks, donates it all to charity, releases everybody from the cubes, and releases all the files on whats been happening here. I'm going to put it on your desk right in front of you with a big sign saying "don't push" ok? So make sure you don't push it!".
Much like Hostel 2, this gives us the unwanted inner workings of the people behind the torture.
Strongly disagree! Hostel 2 was interesting specifically _because_ of the focus on the members of the Elite Hunting Lodge.
People are trapped inside the cube
The cube is bad
The first one was the best by a landslide.
I literally watched Cube Zero so I could watch your review. Funny, detailed and accurate - great review!
Thank you very much
Very entertaining reviews you make 👍 been watching several of them now and keep laughing when writers clearly make a mess of everything! Good job making old/horror/bad movies into good youtube material 😊👍
i always felt the meaning of if u believe in god was to see if you were susceptible to control
I find it weird how the PREQUEL was the most futuristic looking out of the trilogy in terms of technology.
Yes hypercube had the most futuristic cube design but the outside of the cube and the way the people in the cube were dressed looks like modern day
Somehow 1994, Futuristic, and Retro Futuristic fused together in one film
True, in terms of tech, Cube Zero had the retro futuristic thing down pat. I like the way the cube itself looked in the prequel. It did have more futuristic traps but in terms of aesthetic? It definitely looked far more primitive in comparison.
15:55 reminds of the good old "If you dont beleive in god you go to hell" cause of the fire. When watching this I thought the cube was gonna end up being some kind or weird twisted purgatory but na
I understand the hate for Cube 2, but it's my personal favorite.
Your one of us members of the Foamy card cult. Praise the almighty Foamy.
Are we not gonna note how rains was kidnapped although its said that only deathrow inmates are sent in?
I thought it was clear that the universe of Cube zero was experiencing a despotic regime that imprisons politcal enemies which is what rains was.
I did like Wynn being kazam that was nice bc it felt odd having kazam know which rooms are safe and what arnt but idk
Except the two are not the same person.
Watching this again after 5yrs and the review still holds up well.
I liked this movie. Definitely more enjoyable than Cube 2.
25:00 - I think it was just the adjacent rooms that had their letters corroded/burned. I don't think the all of the rooms were like that.
20:13 thats so sad alexa play despasito
Also, this comment makes me very happy.
wholesome old meme
I'm glad I saw this one first. I thought it was interesting, but I didn't know it was the 3rd in a series.
Personally, i dont hate Cube Zero. Its not horrible compared to the original and sort of lives up to what it was there for. I give it a 7/10
okay, but i should point you havent actually explained why, You just assigned it a numerical value that doesn’t really mean much, I’m all for you liking something I didn’t but come on I gave you a 30 plus minute explaination for my point of view, I’m gonna need more then a big steam rolling SEVEN.
Legit love your opening song 😂
I saw Hypercube before acube and dug it , but man Cube really is superior in everyway. This film seemed rubbish so glad that I just watched your review. Saved me an hour of my life.
i think Hypercube is better if you think of it as its own movie rather than part of the series, sort of like how the Star Wars prequels are great by themselves but sub-par as Star Wars movies
if you think of hypercube as its own thing it’s better sure, but it’s still not good in any way
14:45 i just notice the Foamy the Squirrel shirt! I love that OG Newgrounds animation!
Cube zero is great
I think they might be saying that Winn is also Kazam. Which honestly just kinda makes that ending even worse.
possibly but as the actor looks and sounds different I was giving them some (undeserved) benefit of the doubt that they would prefer to not add continuity errors and just implied the two characters went through the same procedure instead.
I think the major problem with all the Cube movies is that the premise is so fucking good that it draws the interest of the viewers but the writers are weak and can't really manage to live up to the great premise and tell a good story on it.
i saw Hypercube first and loved it, i think its better if you think of it as its own movie not connected to the other 2 films.
This review of Experiment Site Zero brought to you by Your Friends at Vault-Tec! :D
Oh OK - Thank You!!!
Jiffy Jaf it is a terrible prequel
Deusdaecon Reviews do CUBE 1 pls
27:06 "MY BALLS!!!!!!!! MY ONE WEAKNESS!!!!!!!!!!!"

Cube is the same as the saw movies and if they just left it at 1 film movie they would of be legendary
"I'm through pushing buttons"
*pushes a button*
I actually liked this movie. It helped explain things in regards to the first movie and allowed a different perspective of the same situation. The engineers were in a different part of the cube i imagine but they were just as trapped as the people they were watching. Im guessing the higher ups were testing to see if humans had a conscience and how long would it take for them to act or even if it was necessary to even have them
without a doubt you do the best reviews!!! keep up the good work
This one was way better then second film, I even think this one could have been a tv serious on Netflix.
it's loads better than the 2nd one though.

i actually think this movie was great....with few faults....but the ending was kinda unfair and emotional and this is one of those movies where villian wins over hero
With the fact that they perfectly replicate the start of the first film I think it's even worse and they are saying he is kazam because their behaviour and wording being identical seems a little far for them to be different people or God forbid they are trying to say this film ends where the first one starts
this was the best one yet
Oh hey, it's Blade from Puppet Master in human form.

Rodislav Canev Yeah, he even tried to say that the letters being burned off was a "Plot Hole" even though they clearly only burned off the letters for the six exit cubes for that specific cube. Only those six rooms had the letters melted off, and every other room still had letters on it.

Finally watched all 3 Cube movies this week. Having only seen the 2nd one when I was young and thinking it was an underrated series, I felt pretty stupid after watching the first one. It was like if Cube 1 is Saw and 2 and 3 are the rest of the Saw films.

As a Christian, I think they may have been attempting to say that those who do not believe in God, are cast into the fires of hell. However, they didn't do a very good job of it.
yeah, religious horror can work well in cases like The Exorcist but this movie mishandled it. the themes were heavy handed and the handling botched
