This was great video I love seeing the pride parade in Taiwan 🇹🇼. The best part of video was watching you explore Taiwan and having a great time and I can’t wait for next video.
Haha, that tea house is worth it just for the servers performance alone. I visited there one afternoon & I think from your video the night view as a slight edge. Your video's part 1 & 2 gave brilliant coverage of just how good Taiwan is to visit. Even outside of Pride the locals are so friendly & welcoming. 👏

This looks so much better than Sydney's Mardi gras with a far bigger variety of people too. I spent 3 weeks in Taiwan in 2002 and it was by far the easiest place I have ever visited to meet guys in despite a major language barrier.
The pride parade reminds me to the pride parade here in Mexico, very similar in how it is with the parade using the whole street and everyone being able to join at any step and just party, altough the pride parade in Mexico is quite massive in quantity compared to the one in Taiwan, the vibe feels very similar.
What an excellent country and experience where love is celebrated freely. I hope this won’t change with the recent political turmoil from the neighbouring giant
It's quite hard to believe that Taiwan was still an authoritarian dictatorship as recently as 30 years ago. Today, it is THE most socially-progressive country, as well as one of the most prosperous and virbrant countries in Asia. It has also grown into a very mature democracy, having recently elected an anti-Communist China president for an unprecendeted third term in a row. What the Taiwanese people have achieved in the past 3 decades is really remarkable.

Unfortunately, Taiwan is seeing a resurgence in far right ideology similar to what we are seeing in many western countries. Better get those laws locked and sealed. A similar ideology comes form China, and the more the CCP influence the KMT, and the more American right wing ideology seeps into Taiwanese society, the more difficult it is going to become for LGBTQ+ folk.

The really good quality Jinxuan Oolong tea will have a distinct milky aroma but doesn’t like taste like dairy at all. It’s a total mindfuck.
