    Man watching your video making me hungry. Cities in Vietnam at night is totally different beast. The only way you can explore the whole city is riding motorcycle.

    That soup you eat in the beginning of the video it’s actually a Mắm(fermented) shrimp seafood soup. Most of the foreigners can’t take the smell.

    One of the things that was bothersome in Saigon about the food (as in Bangkok) is that they get a lot of vegetables etc from China, and China sprays their crops with 30 banned pesticides etc. Glyphosates in the soil. Then to keep the produce looking fresh and green in that heat, they spray it with some other shit which does that. It all gets ingested by anyone eating that stuff. Then of course the seed oils that they fry with, and re-use over and over again. Looks great, tastes, great.. Kills you! So sad. 😔

      Do you have a reliable source on the matter? I'm not sure about Bangkok but I don't think that's the case in Saigon. I'm sure there are incidents here and there where they found cheap and toxic Chinese veggies smuggled into Saigon, but I think it's mainly for low-income food stalls, which sadly serve low-income people and college students. (Yes, I spent 2 years living near the National University campus and was paying 75 cents for a lunch meal).
      If you stay away from the super cheap restaurants and pay $2 for a dish, it's probably safe. Why? 'cause people will know if they eat low quality stuff and there's no way they'll pay $2 for a dish with low quality ingredients.

      I highly doubt they get fresh veggies from China as they are in a premier growing climate for herbs, veggies, fruits, etc., which is why there's an abundance of it there. Most of the veggies and such are probably from Da Lat. Getting veggies from China would not give the freshness they desire in their food there.

    • @John_DaMan
      @John_DaMan ปีที่แล้ว +3

      That's not true.there might be some cases of that, but vietnamese people get locally produced vegetables.

    • @louyht7
      @louyht7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No dawg, we don't import veggies from China. Where you get your sources from dawg?
