    This video debunks all the stereotype propaganda on western msm... and how refreshing to see a black man doing his thing at night without being harassed by the police 😊😊

      I don't notice a lot of police in this video! Of course there's a lot going on! It's very distracting, everything lit up and busy. To me it looks like a big holiday or festival, but apparently it's just another night.

      there may be private security personnel for shopping malls here and there. why would unarmed police harass pedestrians for no reason?
      it's common all over the world, policemen know all the petty criminals within their jurisdiction.

    Chongqing is a mountain city... Just imagine these are just hills and cliffs, and they built buildings and structures on top of those terrains. That's why when you are on the 20th floor of some building, then you realized you are just on the ground floor of some buildings nearby, at the same level of height...

    China’s advantage over US and India is its one party system. One party system is much efficient to develop a country.
    Take life expectancy of both China and US as example. In 1950 China life expectancy is about 38 vs US 68. After 71 years, in 2021 China life expectancy is 78.2 vs US 76.1( latest figure by CDC , US life expectancy dropped by 3 in 2020-2021 period from 79.1 originally). China expectancy increase by 40 years while US increase by 8 years only. China life expectancy increase 5 time faster than US.
    Also Look at health care by comparing MMA rate( maternal mortality rate): in 1950 China maternal mortality is 1500 women death per 100,000 birth vs US 100 women death per 100,000 births. In 2021, China MMA is 16.1 vs US 23.8 per 100,000 (the lower the number , the better health care service level) .
    Infant mortality rate: in 1950 China infant mortality is 195 death per 1000 birth vs US 26.8 death per 1000 births. In 2021, China infant mortality rate drop to 5 per 1000 vs US 5.4 per 1000 birth.
    In fact among top 10 population countries, China’s life expectancy is longest 78.2 years old vs US 76.1 and India 70, Indonesia 71.7, Pakistan 67.3, Brazil 75.9, Nigeria 54.7, Bangladesh 72.6, Russia 73.1, Mexico 75.
    And people in China retire at 55 years old on average to access pension. About 12 years earlier than US's 67 years requirement while some countries may not have pension at all. It means an American need work extra 40*52*12=25,000 hrs in his life than an average person in China. It also means an American only has 9 years to enjoy retirement while an average person in China has 22 years to enjoy retirement.
    Also it is not means or asset tested when access pension in China. It means you get your pension monthly even you stay overseas, are a multi-millionaire or have another job after retirement.
    Singapore is another example of one party system. Its gdp is highest among Asia.

    Pandemonium! It's like New Year's Eve, Spring Break and Bike Week all put together on (I am guessing) a Saturday night? This is as much public entertainment as I've seen in all of my life put together! I don't think this aspect of life in China is well known. It's tremdous! After a few lifetimes of cold-war propaganda, Muricans might see "Socialism" as something grey and dreary, babushkas waiting in line to buy a potato or something.... Not a gigantic party district the size of my whole city, with lit-up buildings all around, and throngs of people just milling around, (WE are afraid to go out at night!).... It looks like fun, and something you could do a lot and not feel like you've seen everything. If you lived THERE and then came to America for some reason... I think you'd be disappointed!

    • @willengel2458
      @willengel2458 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      it depends on what you plan to do/see, how to get there. there are lot of things to consider. lay out a map, identify place you want to go, take into consideration of distance and time, if you go from A to B, then on to C. you save time not to back track. take your time and plan a trip yourself because planning is also part of the trip.

    • @jinniwind
      @jinniwind ปีที่แล้ว +4

      From what i know, they cannot refuse you using cash. When the alipay and wechat pay just rolled out, it had happened that some vendors refused to accept cash anymore, and people (especially old people) complained, and the government made it illegal to refuse cash. This is what i have heard of. I haven’t been back for over 10 years so i myself dont have the direct experience. I’m planning to go back next summer though. My parents are oracles living in Beijing and not tech savvy at all so they often still use cash.

      @@jinniwind recently i know someone who visited the large cities like Beijing and Shanghai and said vendors would either refuse his cash or take his cash with an attitude and many times would not have change to give back. This was a few months ago. I know alot has changed in past 10 years.
