    Love the camera angle!! Gives me the best visual of what it would look like if I had this ball. And now I'm convinced I need one. Thanks!

    just bought one today - pitched for 2 fingers and pin location similar to your 2nd ball. Excited to try it and get to play a bit straighter. Easier for a newner bowler to repeat.

      I've drilled this ball for a number of straighter bowlers and they love it. Like you said, easier to keep your angles in front of you. Enjoy the ball!!

      My rev is up there around 400 but the straight line towards boards 5-10 is the play with this ball.
      My tech didn’t have my exact pap due to changing the pitches and said it was based off my bow tie tracklines pin up. I think I need to hit surface down to 750. Ball just needs a smidge more hook

    1 handed lefty here... 500rpm, 16-18 mph. I'll be drilling one of these out. Looking for something 4-5 boards weaker than my Purple Reactive with a little smoother arc.

    Definitely looked forward to this video. I'm excited to see your comparison to the purple. I just want to know if people are going to hate me if I get one and throw it xD

      I threw this in league on Friday and it seemed to transition pretty normally in regards to reactive resin. I was able to hook the whole lane with it. Crazy how it kept recovering the deeper I got

      HK22 is a chemical additive in a cover stock, not a name/type of cover stock.

    Does it need a "break in" shot like typical urethane or urethane like equipment? I know I can never make adjustments on a urethane ball till I've thrown one shot with it since it'll always hook more.

    • @RevItUpBowling
      @RevItUpBowling  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I would say all bowls have a “break in” period so I have seen some changes over the course of the first 10 games. With Urethane, changing the surface always made it hook more for the first couple shots. I haven’t seen that this much with this ball. I will say I need to put more games on it but it seems like it’s more like reactive resin.

      I've thrown the NU Blue a LOT over the past week and it does NOT have the typical urethane requirement of needing 2-4 shots on it before it calms down. As a Lefty, I use urethane a lot so I know exactly what you're talking about. The NU Blue cover is definitely not urethane in that regard.

    if I mainly throw 14 lbs and I throw it a lot straighter as a lefty 2 hander rev dominant, should I just get the 14 lb? Or go up and buy the 15?

    • @RevItUpBowling
      @RevItUpBowling  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      The first thing you should think about when choosing a weight is to listen to your body. If you have anything above general soreness, then I would go with a 14. If you have no physical alignments, then look at how you throw your balls currently. You said you’re rev dominant, so you might need to combat that with speed or reducing you rev rate to get them match a little better. From a performance perspective, 15lb will carry more inertia but if you throw 14lb with less pain or more consistently, you’ll be able to make that difference up in the long run. If you’ve never thrown 15lb, then I would use a random “test” ball instead of buying a brand new ball

      @@RevItUpBowling Thanks for the advice, I really do appreciate it. I do have a 15 lb ball but honestly I don't throw it much because the weight impacts me a bit on my timing even more so since I throw 14 mainly. I don't really know much about cores but since this one is a "3-piece" core instead of 2, I'm very curious if they just made it out of cheap materials. This may be a question for a Hammer worker tho

    is the pin in the ring finger?

  • @Topnikko
    @Topnikko ปีที่แล้ว

    It's a weak reactive ball with a somewhat similar shape to the purple with a funny name, an appealing color, and a shit ton of marketing hype.
