    If a ball is being a bit lazy and leaving flat 10s when you feel you threw it good, which surface change would you generally go to?? Ty.

    Thanks for the overview ! So in determining if throwing the right type of ball, we should evaluate overall ball motion (getting to the pocket?) as well as whether it’s continuous or deflects thru the pins ? What would your process be for someone getting to the pocket but leaving waaay too many 10 pins? Thanks !

    This was definitely knowledgeable! I started doing this before I got my second bowling ball so this was spot on! I didn't know you could change your rev rate. I would love to see a video on his to change that at will!

    JP is destroying his pendulum by bending his arm. This shortens his arc and causes his deceleration on the downswing. This comes from using the muscles in his arm and wrist to try and get more revs on the ball. When it comes to revs, less is more. A loose arm and hand generate more speed and revs than a tight arm and a cupped wrist. Get this guy to stop trying to hit up at the ball and his speed and revs will eventually increase. Get him to bend more at the waist so his backswing can get higher. This lesson is missing the point and this JP is not going to get better.

    Would this ball be any good for low rev/low speed seniors on a house shot, or is it too early and will just burn up at 12 mph launch speed with under 200 rpms?

    The only thing I'm disappointed in with this ball, so far, is the "four color" part of it. I was hoping for a little more of the contrasts, but alas, it is mostly two colorish. That said, I LOVE this ball right out of the box. I mean, I really like this ball. So smooth and forgiving. It really clears out the rack. I've already gotten over the color part and this will be one of my all-time favs.

    I have yet to find a spray cleaner that removes any marks on the ball from the ball return belts or the backstop. How do you get that crap off your ball?

    Thank you, great video! Bought Bakers training video. I’m sr bowler now, just had both hips replaced (last was almost 6mo ago) dropped to 14lb , for now. I’m trying to work out some of my approach issues. Love your ball reviews, just picked up a Hitter Pearl, liked your review, comments on the ball. Will probably use similar pin down drill. My ball speed is slower, and not rev challenged, but decent. Side note, lived in Juneau for 30 yrs, bowled there in Anchorage as a youth. Thanks for sharing!

    Jesus Christ. I only watched for less than seven minutes, but I see the glaring and fundamental problem that isn't being talked about. This guy gets WAY too friggin bent over and #low to the ground, to the point he would be banging his hand on the floor unless he does that awkward chicken-wing action with his arm. That should be the very first thing you talk about. There's no way to even have a normal arm swing until that's corrected. This simple first step will change his life and liberate his game. Take a freeze frame of his release and tell me I'm wrong. Or just go into your watch history and look at the thumbnail for this vid. It couldn't be more obvious.

    What a concept one ball and just change hand position, speed, launch angle, grip pressure etc, This is nothing new under the sun just history repeating itself, this is what they did with hard rubber balls, pros used to bring a hard rubber ball and a softer one and usually use them through the whole tournament, Ray Bluth great example thank you Brad Angelo for remembering history. Welcome back skill in bowling and not hook in a box bowling.

    I experience close to no fatigue after a league match after getting this advice. Took a while for it to feel natural, but my arm still feel great after any league match/practice session. Another piece of advice that goes hand and hand is to keep the shoulder as straight as possible when swinging. The moment you start moving the shoulder around, usually from trying to muscle the ball, thats when bad things happen

  • @BufordTGleason
    @BufordTGleason หลายเดือนก่อน

    Great stuff. Some people will swear don’t change a thing or you can’t be consistent …the same speed the same hand position ect…and while there certainly is merit to that approach… as in life, there is more than one way to get the job done. Changing balls always gives me a different feel, and it takes me a frame or two to get used to it so I’d rather stick with the same rock. When all else fails, I’ll reach into the bag for something else and sometimes that works. it’s also not financially feasible to carry a load of equipment to league every week. Finally, I suffer from paralysis by analysis sticking with one ball staying in the same place and manipulating my hand unless it is totally unplayable, narrows my decision tree considerably and helps me focus on shot making and not getting distracted by wondering if i’m playing in the right part of the lane or the ball I’m using matches up best.
