You are my favorite bowling channel. You are very authentic and you explain things very plainly for beginners yet have a lot of tips within your videos for more adept bowlers to garner. Keep up the great work. I love it.
Good stuff. As far as the mental game goes, my biggest struggle is getting "paralysis by analysis." I have a hard time separating practice from league nights and tend to have all of the mechanical checkpoints constantly running through my head rather than just bowling "free." There has to be a balance and I have not found it yet.
Great information and thanks for sharing. I can take some of this information and help my game. Look forward to watching your progress and great work best channels.
Thanks for sharing this. I actually have similar issues. It's definitely not an easy change trying to shorten your 4th step, that's one i just havent been able to consistently do.
Recently came across your content and I have to say it’s some of my favorite stuff in the bowling space right now. Hearing the way you describe and work on your game has really helped my own progress over the last few weeks. Keep up the grind man and you’ll see it pay off for sure. Keep at it!
Do you try to work on all the things at once or one at a time? I have four things I want to change but it's just to much to think about in my approach. I decided to stick to one thing at a time. Since everything starts at the push away. I started with that. Even then, when I'm in league I still forget. 😞
Work on one thing at a time. Until there is a solid degree of muscle memory. It will take several weeks/months depending on how many practice sessions you are able to do. I would recommend starting at the foul line with the release and slowly add additional portions of the approach.
It is important to remember that not everyone receives information the same way. One coach's delivery style and way of teaching may not be the best fit for every person even if he is great for you personally. I have worked with a lot of different personalities and ability levels through golf and bowling instruction over the years and I have very different approaches for some individuals vs. others, even when working on the same concepts.
I'd say they're about equal. Both belong on my Mt Rushmore of bowling coaches. NO ONE compares to Joe Slowinski, tho. That dude is the GOAT of bowling coaches.
Would love to see an updated analysis on your progress. Thanks for sharing, it really helps understand and relate to things we can also improve on.

Love the transparency of what you need to/are working on. Great information in this video and plenty to think about.

Hell yeah. Jas is my coach too.
Excellent explanation. Thanks for sharing your lessons with us.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Great video
Isn’t the crossover step important for getting your hips out of the way of the ball path?
I have a pretty non traditional way I bowl. Would be interesting to have a coach point out what I do well and what I dont do well.
What app are you using here to compare videos?
Why does it matter if you drift left 3 boards if you can do so very consistently?

You ever think about doing an analysis of people from email and putting your thoughts on TH-cam?
Coach Mark Baker is so much better than Jasnau
What makes you think that?
