I cut my own hair also. When i go to a salon. l never get what l want in a hair style . They always cut too much off . Save a lot of money . I like it better when l do it myself. ❤
I would rather take the chance of screwing up my hair than to go to someone else who will give me the cut they've decided that I want. Why end up with something I hate that I had to pay a ton of money for?

That's definitely one way to do it. I've had great success with dry hair but definitely give wet hair a try and see if it works well for you :)

can save yourself alot of time and agony by just simply cutting more length during the ponytail segment, like 4 inches or 5 inches
You can definitely go shorter. I just like to keep my hair as long as possible while still have nice layers.
