Uhmm...that's why you buy these M mount? They can be adapted to RF and since there are no electronic connections, it's best you get the most adaptable mount in case you switch away from RF. In that sense it would be best if they made these in PL but then the size would definitely change. In this video he included shots using an R6 which is RF so he adapted the glass...
@@getfmlr they sent M-mount to reviewers, but they are not for sale in M-mount and have given no ETA when they will be available. They can only be purchased in emount currently.
@@getfmlr RF = rangefinder coupled so you can use them on Leica M cameras. This is the same glass as the stills lenses so just buy those if you want rangefinder compatibility
These are just... weird. Hold my beer while I shoot a movie on my M11 😂 I'd take the Sirui anamorphic lineup on an S5II or GH7. Still interesting, high quality glass. I just don't know why an M mount exists.
@FookFish I suppose, but why bother? Manual lenses are typically released in native mounts across all platforms. Sirui offers Z, L, E, RF, MFT, X, (no M, lol). I own EF for my autofocus lenses because I can use them across film, L, E, RF, and tge autofocus works. For video, I'm only ever going to grab L mount. I guess I don't understand why they're not available across all mounts, as they have no electronics.
They aren't for everyone, I love these... Glad they on M, if you buy native you're stuck if you which brands or have multiple cameras from different brands .. Also with M on Nikon & Sony you can make manual lenses auto focus with the techart adapter if they are under I think 700g
@@jw48335 Has Thypoch said that they wouldn't be available across all platforms? I'm stoked for M Mount. Works on every camera I have with a very small adapter compared to a PL mount adapter. Works on my RF, My DSMC2, and of course with my Leica and Panasonic cameras.
These would be really tempting me if I were to ever leave Fuji for any FF system. Great video!
Great fun playing with these lenses😁
Beautiful shots, been waiting on these... They are going right on my Sigma FP 🙏🏾
I was thinkinking the same and 28 and 75 could essentially get you 4 focal lengths 28mm, 42mm, 75mm and 108mm
Amazing! Sad that they aren’t RF coupled.

Also ... RF sucks

easy to adapt as a "universal" mirrorless mount

Just another cheap Leica copy!
