- The Suzuki Jimny has been with us since the early 70’s and has seen only 3 facelifts since then. Being in its third generation since 1998, the Jimny has serious off-road credibility despite its small stance. The addition of an Automatic gearbox sees it appealing to an even wider audience.

I have 2016 ... in south Poland to cargo my ham radio equipment in polish mountain ...its the best car of the world everytime !!
you can park next to a jeep or a land rover and they wont laugh at you cause they know what this car is capable of ..nice one thank you. twenty years ago i wanted to buy one... know what . I now own one.. and i absolutely love it.. so it cant do 120kph... who cares.. sadly no new ones to buy on OZ . reckon suzuki could sell all their imports.

How tall are you? I'm kinda worried because I'm 6' and I feel like it is a little too small
I'm pretty sure you'll fit just fine, keep in mind since the car is a little small by itself, any person who's accustomed to have space in other cars will feel shrunk in this one but not suffocated. The other thing is, people in the back seat will have limited leg space... Being tall will simply reduce that space the passengers... if you're ok with that go for it, go check it out at the dealer, you'll enjoy.

Drove this offroader in Iceland for about 2000km and it was great off-road. But on the highway it has slow acceleration.
it was never designed to be fast, it was designed to go anywhere, it's an offroader not a sports car.

those are not 4X4's those are city cars for stumbling over pebbles and puddles... Jesus that's like comparing a Canon to a water pistol, I guess you don't come from an out doors culture.
@@craigsparks1442 Actually we have both and the Duster is pretty capable.
@@marypetrie930 uh no it's not, we tested one against a Jimny and a Toyota fortuner... the Duster is a pretend 4X4, remember I'm talking African conditions here, Botswana, Namibia and South Africa, the duster would not be capable enough to do a cross Botswana drive. We did a cross Botswana drive in a Jimny with ease... in fact the larger 4x4's battled to keep up... the Duster even during testing was unfortunately very below average, it may do OK in European conditions but will not cope with the severe and more ruggered conditions of what we would deem as an acceptable offroader in Southern Africa. Its just not comparable at all... and remember I'm a seasoned offroader having owned many off-road vehicles from Lada Niva, Toyota land cruisers, Land Rover Defender (probably the worst of all), Suzuki Jimny as well as a Daihatsi fourtrak.
@@marypetrie930 but explain by what mean as capable though, you might think that a mud puddle or the odd dirt road would qualify as an off-road obstacle, here in South Africa the Duster is marketed as a urban soft roader...
@@craigsparks1442 er... I'm not planning to cross any deserts or go rock crawling in the duster and it was not designed to!🤣 but for uk conditions e.g. in winter or a bit of greenlaning its fine. Try and keep things in perspective!
