Was raised on the water, still love it,yes have enjoyed much time in the atlantic ocean and indian tiver...where I learned to swim and fish. Everytime I see your fathers pipe, I start reaching for my grandfather's pipe. An ole nellie. He passed many years ago.
@@PerkinsPipes Straight pipe, Honey color. Sent to Tennessee to Norwoods Pipe Repair. It had a small Crack in stem. They placed a band over Crack to repair. Trying to figure out how to send a picture.
Steve I am not a beach 🏖️ person but I do love the water especially the lakes. Fishing and boating. "Believe me my young friend, there is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats.” So says Ratty to Mole in Kenneth Grahame's classic novel 'The Wind in the Willows' Cheers Ron
My wife claims that “we live our best life at the beach”. Salty hair, and sunburn is her happy place. I made the stretch to take her to the beach for the weekend on our anniversary a couple months ago, and it was amazing to have a whole day laying around the beach. She would never go for no salt, but she would be all about the no sharks! Have a great rest of your trip!
@@PerkinsPipes that is the only way we do it! We go out to the beach at sunrise, read books, have cold beverages and eat fruit (I smoke a few pipes in there) and then eat dinner with the older crowd at 4 (before the craziness starts). Then we’re sitting on the balcony drinking a daiquiri or eating ice cream watching the sunset. Absolutely no set plans is the #1 plan!
Very nice place. Love lighthouses (and the pier)! Unusual to find a two-fer on the same pier. We too have a two-fer; the Twin Lights here in Massachusetts at Cape Ann (Gloucester, MA). Great video!
Nice video, thanks for sharing.
Right pretty looking place
As a New Jerseyan… “Unsalted and Shark Free”, is sounding pretty good! 😂. Thanks for sharing your trip.
Love the great lakes! Ive been to Lake Michigan, Lake Superior, and of course Lake Erie since Im from Northeast Ohio. Looks beautiful!
@@josephh.volzer1534 Only Lake Michigan and Erie for me. Would love to visit the others!

What shape is that Nellie? It is certainly nice to have a connection through such items with our ancestors.

You know, as time goes on, I am finding the whole sit-on-the-beach-and-do-nothing thing rather enjoyable!

@@jamescahill2772 Thanks so much! That is the only place I knew that had two. Do you know why people put two so close together?
