You missed the silver pickup backing into the water to pick up the jet ski. A jet ski trailer is cheaper than having your truck rust totally out from saltwater.

Watching people getting more and more sideways to the dock never gets old. Everything they try just makes it worse. If you TOLD them to get their boat completely sideways to the dock they would probably end up docking perfectly.
No, MOST Florida boaters are actually this inept. Most Seattle boaters are this inept and Washington state has a safe boater certification requirement. Which tells you that the program is actually a money grab more than anything else. I live near a boat ramp in Seattle and for every person who knows what they’re doing, there are at least ten people who have no clue.

I took the test in 1993 as they were newly reqr'd for JetSki operation thoughI'd been working on & delivering 45' sail & power boats since '78. Never approach anything faster than you're willing to hit it. Only in EXTREME situation with strong wind & current do you operate boats like these people are doing, in normal conditions.
My dad’s a captain and a Merc and Yamaha certified mechanic of over 30 years, he started teaching me the ropes of boating driving when I was seven years old. We’ve been Florida residents for about 25 years and I feel safe saying that about 20/100 Florida boaters are this inept…. Add in alcohol and a holiday weekend, that number probably goes up to 30/100😂😂😂

Get the bow line on and a bit loose then steer away from the dock. The now line will stop the now moving and the stern will come over
OMG, tie off the bow and nudge into reverse! 🤦🏻♂️ The stern will pull itself into the dock. With twin screws, this should be even easier.
