My dad has helped people by getting the plastic floor board mats out of trucks and putting them in front of the tires. It helps when the ramp is slick with algae.
As much as I miss Florida, I don't miss the idiocracy that boat ramps, and boating in general seem to have become. 100 million years ago, I took the Coast Guard Auxiliary's boating safety course. It covered boat handling, maneuvering, docking ,mooring, wind, current, and other weather considerations and a lot of other stuff along with have enough life jackets and don't drink and drive.
@@malekodesouza7255 And why not? It has a steeringwheel, throttles and brakes. Point it down the runway full throttle, just like a car and ignore everyone else. The radiostations suck because you only hear screaming.

A country. Boat ramp there’d be five guys willing to snag that thing up . Food shortages come I wouldn’t want to live in Miami. One for one and one for,,,,,,,, one.
I think the guy with the rope didn't make any difference - the driver used less throttle in the last attempt, static friction is always better than sliding friction and that's why he got it out.
All you have to do is tie the front line with a little slack. Then crank the wheel hard over to the right and put the engines in reverse. The back end with get pulled in to dock.
Florida is mostly flat as far as the eye can see in all directions near the coast lines. Northern Central Florida has some hills. 4x4 is an extra expense you may never need... If you avoid the ramp. 😹
Good question! I live in Florida and People in the marinas use them (I use four- two dock and two big buoy-style) but I go to the ramp and they don't exist!
it totally does help, when jumping the weight coming down is greater that stationary weight, set a heavy block on your foot , not so bad, drop it was 2" up will exert more pressure
The guy pulling on the rope just needed a longer line. You tie one end to the truck bumper and the other end around the palm tree across the street, and make the line as taut as possible. Then grab the rope halfway between the tree and the truck, and push perpendicular to the rope. The tree will act as a lever and give you a force multiplier back to the truck of at least 1.5 to 5, depending on how taut the line can be made. Just one of those weird tricks of physics.
so... the smartest creature great or small near the ramps is Fred... maybe one of the kinetic rope companies should start selling their products under a canopy at the boat docks in Florida...
The rope can not break if the man can not exert more power to weight than the rope can stand, and not many people can simple break a rope by pulling on it, if you tried with another vehicle them it would be possible to break it
Vehicles have had 4wd - 2wd capabilities for years. 2wd just tooling around, 4wd or all wd when needed. Time to upgrade if you're gonna have success at the ramp.
I have 2006 Sequoia and I tow my 19ft boat with it…4wd when I need it. Never had issues pulling my boat out with just 2nd but for some reason many people feel the need to back up too deep…
With a small boat like that, u domt need to back that far. And i still can't understand why people like to ram their hull to the bow tie when u can just crank it all the way up
It is interesting to me that no one noticed the boat was sitting on top of the trailer pole. Maybe if they would have seen that and moved the boat back. But they were unintentionally trying to lift the boat out of the water on top of the pole.
With twins, drive with the throttles, but with the wheel, very easy. Ugh, people go out during the week and practice, don't learn around the ramps, go out somewhere calm and practice and see how the boat reacts to inputs. Or take a boating course!
Been watching the channel for a while now. It still surprises me how few people actually help others in that area. I grew up in a small town though.
My dad has helped people by getting the plastic floor board mats out of trucks and putting them in front of the tires. It helps when the ramp is slick with algae.
This proves it. Humans will find entertainment in whatever we can

Exactly, spot on. It's compulsory in Australia. I never see this sort of shit as I witness here.

If I win a boat (whatever it is) and the Only condition is, that I have to use these south Florida ramps, I would pass ANY given day!!! LOL!!!
Lifeguard so good he saves you from being in the water too long just by his presence. Amazing professionalism
Cool seeing an American Crocodile !!!!
I think the species is Cuban or Carribean crocodile.
@@robertmorris8997 Google it and you will see it is listed as an American Croc, although it is around Cuba mainly.
Lol your personal life guard swimming
Unbelievable how everyone is so helpful 🤣
That opening shot of Fred is gorgeous, like he’s he swimming through water flecked with gold.
There is no better you tube channel on the whole internet that exemplifies why some people should NEVER own/drive a boat..
I have never ever seen anyone pull out a vehicle by hand like that in my life have a blessed day be safe enjoy watching your channel
"Why would I need a 4x4??? I live in Florida!!!"
I can't believe that none of the bystanders gave the guy on the rope a hand.
because it's so absolutely rediculous to even attempt it.... he was able to get up the ramp because he turned his front wheels straight.
That smooth ramp will get you every time
The brain power that was amassed equaled a turnip.
That’s a bad rap on the turnip family!
And I thought I was watching Miami Boat Ramps, but it turned into a strongman performing a feat of strength!
Maybe the bumbledicks on the boat could help?
Best pull out game I've ever seen...
4wd!!!! I repeat four wheel drive!!!! Over and over I'm yelling at my TV!!! The winner in this particular episode was the silver Toyota SUV.
Love the two sharing and caring dues on the boat
LOL so hard yup your right that's a big little boat well with mangling glass it look big lol
1 man pulling the rope…8 birthing people watching
they all stood there and watched then left when it was out.. just there for entertainment ?? mind numbing..

^^^^ this!
Nobody on that First Boat knew what they were doing but maybe the Guy on the Dock.
First boat, the captain needs to stop taking so many useless people, only one person was helping.
He needs to go out in open water and figure out how a boat operates before thinking he can drive it like a car.
All you have to do is tie the front line with a little slack. Then crank the wheel hard over to the right and put the engines in reverse. The back end with get pulled in to dock.
I love a happy ending.
Guy that pulled out the boat single handedly, looks like Igor the Russian Giant from Siberia
Amazing, could air down
As a northern guy I’m always amazed by the lack of traction in 2 wd suvs and trucks. Hell, they’d get stuck in wet grass!
I have actually had a 2wd stuck in wet grass. Plus, they are really just 1wd.

The ending we all wanted!
I'm dead..the guy pulled the truck out with a clothesline. Lol
WOW, last boat didn’t see that ending well
The problem with the first boat was the load!😂😂😂
can someone explain to me why no one in florida uses bumpers to save hull damage on their boats?
I have been thinking the same thing.
@@paulkersey2179 yep every video at least 99% of the boats are without them and most of them banging the docks...makes no sense at all
Been wondering that for years. Fenders are cheap. You spend $100K on a boat and don’t spend $50 on fenders to protect it.🙄
Apparently they don't look cool.
Good question! I live in Florida and People in the marinas use them (I use four- two dock and two big buoy-style) but I go to the ramp and they don't exist!
It's amazing how many people don't know how boats work. They don't steer like a car people!

I love it when people bounce, like that's going to do anything.

Their towing capacity must be tied to their brain capacity
Wow! I'm amazed of how unprepared the people in these videos are.
Are there really this many first timers at the ramp….unbelievable 🤪🤪🤪🤪
Wow, that's a boatload of stupid going on in this video ! Even the shot blocker was a tool. Good job by the truck pulling guy !
With rear wheel drive cars/trucks, and an "OPEN" differential, applying the emergency brake about 1/4-1/2 can help with traction.
If you can't get your car up the ramp just get a load of folk to come and watch . . Seems to do the trick 🙂
If you don’t understand the laws of physics and go boating…you are in trouble!

Guys what is the first thing you need when you have a boat???
4×4 truck 🚚!!!!!!
9:23 are we just going ignore the net hanging from the back of the Evinrude Motor?
That guy with the rope did nothing. You can see the guy on the dock telling the driver to downshift and idle out. That's why he got traction.
This first boat all those dudes on board and absolutely nonsense of urgency they are just standing there
Was the boat tied to dock and still attached to trailer??
These people are nuts.
When I was 10 I knew what a spring line was
I have never seen anything like that in my life before.
the bystanders told the driver to not break traction no spinning that is why he was high fiving them
you need to up the volume big time
Agreed
look and see where he and the other you tubers are filming... they are across the water in the bushes/trees/mangroves...

great video but can you fix the mic audio on the guy talking it seems kind of quiet
You need to increase the volume on your videos they are very quiet.
I have to keep turning my volume up to full blast
How can you have a boat that big and expensive and not know how to dock it?!
That ramp concrete can be really smooth. I refuse to use slick ramps even with 4wd.
Its the green stuff algae that makes it horrible
It’s not called the greatest show on earth for no reason!
Some people just need to put their boat for sale. Common sense is not to difficult to figure out.
It's not even warm here yet.
Rear wheel open dif drive and drive wheel in water = submarine.
Yup, why they don't have a diff lock I have NFI.
It is interesting to me that no one noticed the boat was sitting on top of the trailer pole. Maybe if they would have seen that and moved the boat back. But they were unintentionally trying to lift the boat out of the water on top of the pole.
Only in the US of H (Hollywood) ! Phones ready? Just stand an watch and comment!
This guy is on the water cheap but most people who get stuck should invest 1000$ for a limited slip if you have a heavy boat
You look up cluster flop in the dictionary and you will see this LMAO perseverance pays off I guess
Once the van starts moving don’t stop 8:23
Look at the Walrus on the starboard gunnel. He's lost!!
What helped the guy get out was all those people who stood around just looking, I'm sure that's it.
Why does the city or county not hire a concrete cutter to put groves in the ramp for better grip? That ramp seems unreasonably slick.
An old four wheeler trick for much better traction ,let some air out of the tires.
Why oh why don’t people either tie on a stern and motor forward or get a bow line on and reverse back on it. Spring lines always work!
If all of those people would’ve pulled together, they could’ve pulled it out.
The boat was still attached to the trailer, lifting the rear up.
