    Hats off for this man and his team. So much respect for all he/they did for the 3d printing community. Voron is the inspiration of many other printers out there and is also one of the big reason I started in the DIY.

      And thank you Mr VZ for picking up the performance angle and pushing the boundaries in motion, flow rate and cooling so much further than anyone thought possible.
      I hope the Goliath picks up and pushes the whole industry towards a lot more flow, especially away from .4/.2, this will be tremendously important for the Phoenix and the upcoming increase in printer sizes as well as the continued speedup of 3d printing.

    I can recognize I do not need it, will likely never need it, and it will waste so much space, time, and energy, but I absolutely must have a Voron Phoenix. Thank you for uploading this speech, and thank you Voron for making this insane and spectacular printer.

      Maybe it can be downsized to V2 sizes. You'll have a 2.4 with metal parts, idex, beefy construction, and electronics in an accessible space

    • @mr_voron
      @mr_voron 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@karellen00 V2 is basically a downsized V24. Or I should say V24 is an upsized V2. Rest assured a lot of Phoenix is going into the next iteration of V2 (whatever we end up calling it)

    the massive community involvement in voronn design is ultimately what makes it so great. so many people of all skill sets willing to provide input as well as beinng eager to learn things. voron has become very special and it all started with you

    Thank you RCF, Nero, Stephan, and all the oranges from the 2.1 release days for an amazing experience.
    You guys made 3d printing history and most of what's awesome today is thanks to Voron, the V2 and all that came afterwards, including the RatRig and the bambu I also own.
    I hope you can or soon will eventually make a living out of it, sir lord RCF MZ.

    I would love to convert my 2.4 350 to idex and then get another 2.4 with 250mm bed. Great story and great project. 🎉

  • @SirLANsalot
    @SirLANsalot 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

    ......might have to get one now, I have a 2.4 350 and having another Voron at a whopping 600 would work well for some of the larger things I print that I wouldn't need to brake down (the more you can print at once, the less chances of something going wrong or warping).

    • @Mr.Thermistor7228
      @Mr.Thermistor7228 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      you could easily get a trident or 2.4 kit and make them ultimatley as large as you want already. funndamentally there isnt really anything different about the phoenix than a 2.4

    • @detmaat3039
      @detmaat3039 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Mr.Thermistor7228 yeah, i looked a bit into it. but i am not so capable in this regard right know. if i would buy a kit for 1,5k then would have to change a lot of parts and then i would have to find the software where someone already programmed a idex version and somewhere in the code change it to my final dimensions. I see a lot of money and work invested without a clear outcome if i do it myself =/

      I think I read that differently 😂
      A Dueling (Dual Gantry) Phoenix would be fun! The ball screws could handle the extra weight of a bit more gantry, to get faster speeds all around, with true independent motion. But on the other hand, the second IDEX toolhead costs relatively less to drag around when the gantry is heavier.
