I’m doing all that-and have for 2 years. I incorporated fermented foods a month ago-kefir, sauerkraut, pickled beets, kombucha, and high potency yogurts-all made by me at home. My inflammation is finally starting to get better. I haven’t eaten sugar, grains, or ANY processed foods in over 8 years. After being strict carnivore for 5 years (no fiber, no fermented foods) my gut fell apart; I had leaky gut, SIBO, GERD, adrenal fatigue, fibromyalgia, chronic fatigue syndrome, extreme constipation. And I gained 30 pounds out of thin air. I post this as a warning: DO NOT DO CARNIVORE LONG TERM. It seems like it’s awesome, it will make you feel great (I felt amazing for 4 years) but it will ruin your health.

@ I couldn’t eat most foods-foods I’d been able to eat before carnivore-especially coffee, avocados, citrus, all fermented foods; basically anything high histamine. I would break out in horribly itchy hives. My anxiety was sky high, and I had horrible insomnia. All I could eat was very fresh meat, eggs, and collagen rich meat broth with cooked veggies.. I did the GAPS intro diet to heal and seal my gut. Then I added beans, which helped to clean out my gut. Now I’m doing Dr. Davis’ SIBO yogurt and eating a lot of fermented foods to get my gut right. What a nightmare it’s been.

Red meat is the best to reduce inflammation due it being high in glutamine. Look it up.

What about those of us who need low oxalate and low histamine?

@@christineschroeder4509 The reason you can’t tolerate oxylates or histamine foods is because you have gut dysbiosis; you lack the gut microbes you are supposed to have that easily take care of those plant poisons. The GAPS diet can fix your gut so you don’t have to worry about food sensitivities. Our modern lifestyles are gut killers, with antibiotics being the #1 culprit.

Be born with another mentality . Seriously we humans are hyper carnivores if you think otherwise you never experienced your energy being 5 times the normal rate .
