Love your channel. I purchased the Viofo A119 Mini 2 about two weeks ago. I like it so far. In the video you stated that you have to use the USB C connection on the GPS module. I have mine connected to the A119 mini 2 directly and the GPS module still works fine.
I too have been running the Viofo A119 for 5+ years - works great. Only once it somehow wasn't recording. Video quality is ok and the newone looks ok - of course all of these dash cams have shite-ish video quality compared to a decent smartphone but you can't go wrong with the Viofo A119.
I have a 2023 Honda Accord hybrid. I’m still waiting for the Dongar dongle adapter for the dimming rear view mirror so I don’t have to run a wire around my car. Maybe this will happen soon, as I really like this camera. One serious problem with these Wi-Fi dash cams is that if your car has wireless Android Auto, as mine does, the dashcam will terminate your Android Auto while the dashcam is connected - not cool.
Does the circular polarizing lens (CPL) still fits in the Viofo A119 Mini 2? I can see in the description it can fit in Viofo A119 but I couldn’t not see Viofo A119 Mini 2 so I’m not sure if it’s still fits.
Your videos are a Pros Pro,smooth. Would it be crazy to put at the rear a REXING V1 - 4K Ultra hd And a 119 mini 2 on windshield? P.s. I have both thanks😢

What's the difference between: (1.) Sony STARVIS 2 Sensor 5MP IMX675 and (2.) Sony IMX335 STARVIS ? "Mini vs Mini 2?" Audio: 'Echo chamber sound'. Not much difference between A119 V3 and Mini 2. Actually, the audio on the V3 is better.
Nice, I have the A129 Pro Duo and love it, but I have mines hardwired, I'm looking on upgrading to the Thinkware U1000 but I just haven't pull the trigger on getting one, great review.
@@bishopgeorge1333 The mini 2 is even better than the 139 pro, U3000 at night , 970x.The mini 2 has been reviewed at length on dashcam talk and blackboxmycar. Even black box my car who sell the 970x , u3000 and U1000 and 139 pro acknowledges the mini 2 superiority.
Software and hardware were reworked. If you are under warranty get in touch with them and they will determine the problem and replace it with the updated one under warranty
I will be using this as a rear camera and it will be behind a heavily tinted window. Do you recommend having HDR on or off considering the window tint?
I’ve had this for years and works great. I originally had a battery one but it died shortly after leaving it in the car because of the Florida sun. This one has a capacitor instead of a battery so it has survived the heat for years and still going strong. Highly recommend this camera.

Just a note on multi-channels one...most if not all, the front facing cam is the higher resolution one and the in cabin(interior) and rear cams are only 1080P. The better setup and I'll do a video on this soon..is to have for example 2 of these Viofo Mini 2's..one in the front and one in the rear. There is usually a USB port or power charger port on the rear or the back side of cars nowadays anyways....@@LysanderLH
@@LifeHackster Thanks for your advice. I think an interior rear facing camera would be tricky in a Tesla due to the window tint and screen angle. I would be interested to know how others have resolved these issues.

How is its night recording video quality compared to viofo A229 pro 4k?

Just turn off the WIFI on the dash cam. You really don't need it until you have to retrieve the footage or change settings.

If you are talking about the square snap on one, yes it still fits.
So this looks like a better deal then the 229 because of hdr. I'm now thinking why not to get this...

Idk if this would work for me I got 35% tint windshield and 5% all around but I really need a dash cam 😭
I think it will work still... you can adjust the exposure manually anyways, if you think it is too dark.

60 fps is dam good ! do a parking mode video with this camera. also blink has out blink cameras 4 !

Yes, the wifi connection shall in within 10 meters.

The problem is that some States don't allow anything mounted to the windshield. So how can they get around this?
Why wouldn’t they allow them?

@@Resist4 It can be installed behind the rearview mirror, which will not influence the driver's view.
You have to check your local laws. This has a small footprint though not unless you have a small windshield.

The A119 series are usually 1 channel. Viofo sells other models that are multi-channel.

The other starvis 2: 70mi a810 is a better beast then the best viofo can make, tried both, 70mi a810 is better at night
