  • Introducing the cutting-edge 2024 Samsung Bespoke AI All-In-One Washer/Dryer - WD53DBA900HZA1, offering unparalleled features and performance.
In this overview, I showcase some of the features of the all-in-one. Below are some additional key features I didn't mention, but later learned.
    • Exceptional Capacity: Boasting a massive 5.3 cubic foot capacity, this model surpasses competitors like LG and GE, ensuring ample space for large loads.
    • Efficient Dispensers: With two dispensers, this unit can handle up to 47 loads before needing a refill, a standout feature in its class.
    • Cycle Times: Experience efficient laundry cycles with average times of 2 hours 48 minutes for Whites, 2 hours 29 minutes for Colors, 6 hours 10 minutes for Sheets and Blanks, and 5 hours 26 minutes for Comforters.
    • Warranty Insights: While Samsung offers an impressive 20-year motor warranty, it's essential to note the 1-year warranty for moving parts, contrasting GE's 5-year comprehensive warranty and dedicated service department.
The SmartThings App integration is a game-changer. Seamlessly control your Samsung Bespoke Washer/Dryer remotely and sync it with other smart devices like Nest and Kasa Light Switches. Create personalized routines based on your schedule for added convenience.
The AI technology, including AI OptiWash and AI Optimal Dry, elevates your laundry experience by delivering consistently clean and dry clothes. The Flex Auto Dispense feature simplifies detergent usage, ensuring a mess-free laundry process.
While the appliance's performance and energy efficiency are commendable, note that installation may pose challenges due to its weight (300lbs) and dimensions (depth longer than average). However, the functionality and convenience of this all-in-one unit outweigh initial setup concerns.
In conclusion, the Samsung Bespoke AI All-In-One Washer/Dryer combines cutting-edge technology, energy efficiency, and convenience, making it a top choice for smart homes. If you're considering this appliance, ensure you have adequate space and factor in potential installation challenges based on your setup.

Is the high speed spin cycle very aggressive and loud? Does it create a lot of vibrations??

I recently ran a cycle with just jeans on the highest spin setting, and I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't louder than a regular load. Unlike my previous top load and front load washers, which were quite noisy during any spin cycle and water drainage. I also invested in "Silent Guys Anti Vibration Pads for Washing Machine" from Amazon, which are rubber feet designed to reduce vibration and stabilize the washer. Honestly don't know if they make any difference with this appliance...I've noticed that this appliance itself does an excellent job of minimizing noise levels during operation, which is a big plus.

What retailer did you buy your machine from?

Samsung shipped out directly to me via RXO third party delivery at a reduced price.

Interesting that you show a depth measurement of 31 inches yet the manufacturer lists it as 34 7/8 inches. Maybe it's more in the rear of the unit to measure.

This was an oversight on my part. The rear of the unit takes up additional space due to the hose connector and other miscellaneous parts that protrude. A more accurate measurement would be 34 7/8 inches.

@@AGeekDad Is that wall to door? Looking at possibly getting this, but 35" is the absolute max or my door won't close. Looking for a realistic wall + unit measurement to include the hoses. 34 and 7/8"? Might go with the GE unit because it is 1.6 inches smaller in depth.

I believe that having only 35 inches of space would be uncomfortably tight. The power plug, being thick, protruded too much from the outlet that was directly behind the appliance. So purchased a flat, short power extension to accommodate. Even after these adjustments, I found that I still couldn't close my bifold closet door without it scraping against the appliance door. The 35 inches is approximately the amount of space I have from the drywall to the bifold door. If there's no alternative plan, this setup might prove to be more trouble than it's worth. If you instead have a regular door, might work, but will be tight.

@@AGeekDad Appreciate your reply. I may have to move the machine 6 to 12" to the side so that the door can close. The GE machine is smaller, but lacks the self clean feature for the condenser coils which I think is critical.

@@AGeekDadinterestingly enough, I found a display of this unit and it was right next to the GE and surprisingly there wasn't a big depth difference between the two devices.
