Nice video. I had a question about my ECU its a Honda P9L-E13 board can this board be ECU chipped? I live in Europe and don't know if that makes any difference in the boards.
Unfortunately not, P9L series ECU's are OBD2a as I recall. Technically you can actually, however the chips are very expensive and requires the ability to micro-solder well over 400 pins on a single chip. I personally do not know of any tuning software as this is not common. You can convert your car to OBD1 by getting an adapter harness to plug in an OBD1 ECU to your OBD2A harness. Several places make the adapter harness, notably HAMotorsports.
@tunanocrustgarage Thank you so much for answering back. If I would buy the obd2a to obd1 harness. What ecu would you recommend getting for a D15Z8 manual Honda civic?
@@goodmatchplay1372 If you want a full play and play affair with tuning capabilities look for P28 or P75 ecu's with socketing already completed or Hondata already installed. Alternatively you can add features like VTEC, PWM and more to a P06 ECU. If you are not already subbed, go ahead and sub and stay tuned for more ECU modifying videos. You can use my content to help you learn how to modify and tune your ECU.
