I have this case. You need to bend the tab back further behind the pencil and then it will stick magnetically.

Sorry to bother, but I'm looking to buy this case mainly because of the magnetic back-case and because its clear.
Are the magnets strong enough to maintain the ipad attached onto a magnetic ipad stand or fridge?
Yes it does but the magnets aren't the strongest in that situation. I would recommend the ESR for iPad Pro 13 Inch Case M4(2024), iPad Pro 13 Rotating Case with Removable Magnetic Cover if you want it to be more secure on the fridge.

i notice strong smell with hybrid case
Same here! I didn’t really notice it until after I posted the video but it’s almost like a fish oil smell. It’s funny because on a different case of theirs, the advertisements on Amazon say their competitors have bad odors on their cases lol.
Case too heavy and does not stand up properly and falls down backwards often.
I’m testing it more and have noticed that some.. it might be because of their magnets being too heavy
