Always check for standing water! Use low pressure so you don't force water into any electrical components and dry up any standing water so it doesn't find its way into vital parts of the engine, like the cylinders or around the sparkplugs.
Thanks for the video. Would have been nice if we had some voice over for each steps… I would blow dust the engine before putting any water there. I guess this engine was not that filthy. I would avoid using a hose like this. Rather use a steam cleaner to remove tough stain and then follow with an engine cleaner solution. The blower you are using might be handy but would use a air blaster to ensure water is taken out at all cost. It is also easy to manuver around tight spaces. Great share!
What a big difference 🙌🏽

Good tips! We've cleaned hundreds of engines and have never had an issue. Just gotta be cautious and use common sense 👍🏽

I'll integrate voiceovers on different videos. Still in the testing mode of what structure best fits the videos. Good tips you gave!
Keep up the work,
Thankya!
2:10 LMAOOO so random, love it.
muahahah
Do you cover any electrical components or youre just being careful not to hit it with to much water/chems?
We do! We cover the alternator with a plastic bag and if it makes sense, put a towel in the intake or cover it up.
What chemicals did you use?
All-purpose-cleaner diluted 4:1 and plastic/rubber dressing. That's it
Didn't remove the battery. Didn't cover the fuse box. Bold move cotton.
If you need to do it, do it 👍🏽. What about the intake and alternator? What if there’s an exposed wire somewhere?
@@propercareusa Yes cover those too! Lol. The chance of an exposed wire is extremely rare. The other things are easily protectable. Low hanging fruit.
