Hi Trev. Thanks again for another great video. In the video, not only have you shown how to do it, you've explained why it's important to do it. It's so good that you do videos about the very basic things that need to be done, and not just about the more impressive looking side of beekeeping.
I'm in the UK, and a lot of people who know I keep bees, say to myself and my partner Heather, how they would like to have a go at bee keeping themselves. They ask if there's a recommended book, we just tell them; go on line, go on you tube, put in Trevs Bees, and you'll find everything from the basics of getting started, to the advanced. - Oh and we tell them, most important, don't forget to subscribe.

I put on a few propolis sheets on today - mainly for an experiment. It's probably better in a few months time once we come into Autumn (Ireland). I really didn't know that it fetched such a great price. Thanks for your vid and inspiration

You do a very thorough job sir. How are you separating the propolis from the bits of wax In the ice cream container?

Hello Trevor, just wondered how you clean the propolis in the Paradise EPS hives, apart from with great care! I appreciate it is possible to scrape the yellow plastic frame supports with a screwdriver, or similar, but is the inability to effectively clean propolis from the rest of the box a potential disadvantage with the Paradise hive? Regards, Chris

Trev, what is the sheet of material you are working on? I think you said flat iron...not sure what I would ask for here in Canada in terms of material, gauge, etc.

Any idea how long it takes to fill up one of those ice cream boxes? I am thinking you will be making about $.03 per hour ???
I am sure you know your business so it is worth the effort I'm sure but it sure looks extremely time consuming.

Thanks for the reply. As I said, you know your business better than I do. I wasn't being critical BTW.
Should you throw away $400.00 a year? Heck no, you should send it to me :). Anyway good work and thanks for the video.
BTW - I use formic acid and absorbent meat pads for Varroa and it costs pennies per hive per year. Just throwing that out there.

@@EcrotekBeekeepingSupplies1 i am so sorry thank you for your great knowledge TREVOR.
The only reason im in youtube channels is because i bought fresh honey from a friend I thought it was pure honey in jars however it was in a square wood .. I used my hands got the waxed honey out between the wires and placed them into jars... now my family wont eat the honey.. I just want to know how i would seperate the honey from wax... I dont have any bee or honey skills nor do i want it.. im too old. Nor do i have any special equipment... I watched on youtube that if i boil it the honey will be useless.. if you can or advise me in an way.. i would really appreciate it.. Thank you Trevor
