Hi trev this is exactly where i will be in september after 2 years of learning and getting set up correctly about bees ,how secure are the nuke boxes as i have to bring mine home in the car from about 40km away . When you bring the bees to your bee yard in the nuke do you leave it there for 24 hours to let the bees orientate to where the new hive is going to be ? if so you obviously have the front door open ,the keeper i am buying from uses the same boxes as you do so these videos are really helpfull to me .ive read 3 books just about burnt the hard drive out watching videos and i still know nothing about bees take care .

in this video u r talking about putting a second brood box on this hive. Why a second brood box instead of putting 1 brood box then queen excluder and then put the honey boxes on them.
