I just picked up the printer this last week. I had previously almost quit 3d printing entirely because of the constant failed prints, constant maintenance, and generally abysmal performance I had with the Creality Ender 3 S1 Pro. This K1C is a DREAM come true. Aside from how hard it is to get the filament in the extruder, the rest of the experience is perfection. I am now able to play with the slicer, filaments, etc and KNOW the printer will do what I am telling it to... I saw so many people trying to say how you needed Bambu, but my experience so far here shows me ... that at least for me and my use case... bambu money would have been a waste.

Yea man this is where the power REALLY comes into play! Done a few practical prints now and always looking for more.
Extra thing I will say is that with a wall of links and no descriptive text, it's hard to see what those links are without clicking each one :( Esp when the link gets cut off by YT.

Hey ... I printed my Hex wall about 2 months ago. Use it to replace my paint shelf. It saved about half my wall.
I then resin printed paint bottle toppers .. glued then on to the bottles and paintedd the lids the colour from the bottle now I can see EXACTLY what colour I have/want without pulling out bottles or trying to interperte silly names.

Klipper isn't a slicer, it's software that runs the printer. Marlin is a similar software. I think the one you were thinking of was SuperSlicer, which is popular with the Voron community, despite it being a few revisions behind PrusaSlicer in features. Interestingly, Most of the big three slicers (PrusaSlicer, Orca Slicer, and SuperSlicer) are all based off of Slic3r, whereas Bambu's slicer is based off of PrusaSlicer (and Orca is a fork of Bambu's slicer).
I have considered the hex shelf thingy you went with, but since I'm still rather undecided about my overall layout of that area plus trying to keep it not so cluttered looking I never committed to it. It's still rather tempting, that's for sure.
Naa, I didn’t get confused about Klipper, I just get frustrated with the constant barrage of use this use that that comes with the DIY nature of printers. I want my printers to work like my TV turn it on and it simply works.

Talking about mess and when your feeling a bit down you feel like it's too much to deal with and it's closing in on you,,,, well don't worry your not on your own I have the same issue,,, I bought my ender 3pro for next to nothing despite having quite a few upgrades and it nearly put me off printing after spending more time scratching my knapper, swearing and slowly convincing me sen that my plans for making air rifle parts and even my own custom PCP air rifle were never going to happen,,, and the mess grew and grew until about two weeks ago when I got hold of my brand new Creality K1,,, despite the complaints and poor reviews from people who more than likely don't have any experience with printers that are lemon's like my ender 3pro and are only out to promote the competition , I'm over the moon with my k1 and the support from Creality that delt with a mistake of mine whilst removing the silicone sock to swap the nozzle where I snapped two wires and messed up the hotend,,, so yeah I've got a pile of mess too and with I could post a picture to show how embarrassing it is but I reckon I'll get round to doing something with it in the near future,, great videos and looking forward to seeing more

Is the Creality K1C open source?
It’s compatible with lots of different slicers but to make full use of things like the cameras then you need to use their own.
@@RisingApe thanks for the reply. Can you use it in a open source way even though you would loose freatures like the camera or sending files through a app or internet?
