ARB Air Locker Installed Into FJ40 Landcruiser Rear Axle, Mistakes, C-clip Madness.

- I’ve searched, but I have yet to find a video where some one installs an ARB Air Locker into a semi float FJ40 rear axle. I know that’s pretty specific, but there’s plenty out there. Hope you enjoy the process, special thanks to Georg at Valley Hybrids and Sean at River City Differentials.

Awesome video. I also had Sean put front and rear ARB lockers in my FJ 40. His partner, Derek is also great. He wired up a twin ARB air compressor and wired in all the switches for me. They are an amazing team and do great work.
Was yours the green one on the rack by any chance? If so, it was lucky yours was there. They were able to get me up to speed about a few of the internal mechanics.

What's gonna prevent that little copper.tu e from getting snagged by the gears?
It’s solid, shouldn’t be an issue even with the gears moving in there. I made sure it had good clearance as well before I buttoned it up.
Why not take the opportunity to upgrade to a full floater?
Man I wish, I don’t have the means to upgrade to a full float yet. But that’s on the short list.
