- I’ve been wanting one of these for a while, and Dale finally hit me up and said he had one ready to send my way. All the way from Australia, this custom dash is everything I was hoping for. Dale makes a quality product, and the extra storage is the vegemite on the cake. Please, if you’re in the market, look him up. You won’t be disappointed.

I agree with you. There is nothing wrong with making your 40 a bit more useable. Landcruisers are always short on storage and its great to add more.
If you plan on driving it, then it’s worth it to have some upgrades.
That dash actually looks retro and fits the overall styling of the 40! Nice upgrade for sure.

Dale will be getting some of my $$..My metal shelf works great but this is way better. So glad I don’t have to remove the shelf to install!

I’ve been following your progress for years. It has definitely come a long way. Lots of entertainment along the way too (engines dropping off jacks). You’ve put together a beauty with really great parts.

I live in US now but go back to Belfast frequently. Love Toyotas. 4Runner right now and excited to buy the new hybrid Tacoma. The new Landcruiser coming out looks like a great vehicle too.

That’s a nice looking dash. Mine oem looks about as bad as yours. I might be in the market for one those guys. It’s looks very useful. Itgoeswell with my window sticker(also whimsical),…..no air bags, we die like real men.
Yeah, it’ll hurt, but I’m ready for it with this fancy dash. The storage alone was worth the change, and lockable. Totally stoked.

Would this work on a 71 that doesn't have the bent piece from the original dash
I imagine as long as those mounting spots are there you should be good to go. Hit up Dale and he’ll get you on the right track too.
How do you keep things from rattling around in there while driving?
It’s got some sound deadening in the bottom, I don’t hear it beyond all the other shit rattling 😆
