Great videos. I just installed a bigger comp cam and deleted the AFM/DOD in my 07 Avalanche. I havent gotten it tuned yet. The 14th. Did you have any problems with your brake vacuum or hard brake pedal.? I was told I might have to go with an electric pump or maybe a canister. Also what stall are you going to go with and is it completely necessary?
Jacob Hutchinson thanks for the feedback. Any vacuum issues you’re having should be taking care of with a good tune. As for the brake pedal being hard I’m not really sure. And yes get a torque converter!!!! It needs it for the newly added HP. I waited to long to upgrade mine and now I have to replace the torque converter clutch solenoid before I can’t do my stall. Going with a circle D 3200. Perfect for daily driving and just getting on it when you want. They run about $600.
Spaded Ace-Chase C I think he means with a Cam, headers, and exhaust. Is it a good daily driver? I’m also thinking about adding a cam to my Sierra. Do you recommend it? Any issues with the truck after the cam install?
Freddie02f lol I just realized that. It’s a good daily. Depends on how much I get into the throttle. 10-12 mpg getting on it 13-15mpg driving normal. If you get a cam you have to upgrade the torque converter which is what I’m about to do.
I have been thinking about getting this exhaust for my 2015 Silverado as well. I noticed your check engine light came on at around 4:05. This could be a dumb question but Is that due to the exhaust or a different issue?
What’s up man? how you think the borla sounds compared to a bigger magnaflow with the heads at least? I’m running a pretty big magnaflow right now and it’s a tad soft and feel like theirs more air flow then exhaust put out lol
Jwal23 to be honest I’ve never really messed with flowmaster or magnaflows so not sure what they sound like. I like this borla muffler but I may switch the ATAK muffler for a little more loudness

I’ve heard A LOT of people say they like the ATAK so I’m curious on that as well. A buddy of mine has the Pro like you have in this video and said he’d just give it to me if I wanted it

Agreed it was a great sounding muffler it just made my cam sound so quiet. I like being loud 😆🤷♂️

I have long tubes, cat delete and Black Widow Race Venom. It's crazy loud. I'll be switching to the Borla XS
I’m running a corsa muffler right now and have a new pro xs in the backseat waiting to be put on.

What exhaust setup did you use? Is it single side exit with dual tip?
Mike Hunter it was single side exit with dual 4” tips but it’s dumped now before the rear axle and running carven TR now.
Do you have any drone sound at the inside of the cabin? If yes, what RPM?
Not with this muffler. It was very quiet with minimal drone through the first couple thousand rpms.
How has the driveability been? I’m looking at this setup for my wifes’ Yukon

Yea all my mufflers had to be welded on.
@@chasec4478 ended up going with a flowmaster super 10. Everything else was way too quite because of that 3rd cat

Yes to both and it wasn’t too loud compared to the carven TR muffler I have now
